Mango is right off of Lawrenceville hwy & they are in uber eats if you're close by!! Yay I've been ordering the chicken and cheese empanadas on uber eats for breakfast or lunch weekly!! I love the empanadas here, they are fresh and I love the empanada dough they use here. They're perfect and you can get hot sauce, garlic sauce or guasaca sauce. I am from Venezuela so I do know how some dishes are supposed to taste, or supposed to be made. My bf and I ordered patacones mixtos (brisket & chicken) and a cachapa (corn cake) with cheese. This place was right! My experience here was not bad at all. The food was tasty. The service was okay. My malta was cold enough (just as i like it). They also have some venezuelan treats that you can not find everywhere, but it was kinda expensive. Definitely coming back anytime soon, and prolly bring my parents too! read more

So all my previous experiences, the food was great. It's delicious, authentic and awesome but service usually sucks. Staff is rarely available and when they are, their attitude leaves much to desire. I don't go often but when I have it's because they honestly have good food. It is located in the corner of an older shopping center and can be easily missed. The place is small but colorful and clean and music is always playing. Prices are decent, portions as well and overall it's good except for service issues. I will say this though, the service was better this last visit. Our waitress had limited English but was very patient and nice. read more

Very very disappointed. I'm Venezuelan and I have had Venezuelan food in NYC before. Came to this place last year and it was wonderful, so much so that I sad that I was coming back on my next visit to Georgia. This time the food was ok at best. I ordered 5 cachapas (corn tortillas) and they were really thin, almost no cheese and they reduced the amount of cream that they give you! The pabellón is embarrassing. They included eggs I ordered them over easy, and this is what I received. (See pictures) The only thing I liked was the patacón, which was ok sized and filled with meat, hence why I'm leaving two stars. The place looks like it has seen better days too. It looks kinda dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. Overall, for the same price you can find a better options if you are looking for Venezuelan food. read more

The food is always amazing. But the service... the cashier on shift was rude, upon pickup I asked if something from my order can be removed due to miscommunication. Smacking her hands together while speaking in a aggravated tone, rolling eyes, and asking me if I can read and see with an attitude. All I asked of was for something to be removed and remained a neutral tone, she said she can take the quantity off but not the whole item (which she ended up doing very unhappily) and then tried refusing to provide the rest of the order. After speaking with who I assume was her manager on the phone. She finally provided. I said thank you and she handed over my order with a roll of eyes and no response. At first i give it a 3 because they had forgotten the sauce that I pay for, but after I ate that food I got sick, I am at work and I feel the worst, I believe it was the grill steak, because when I was warming it up it had a funny smell, they do not give you any lemon with the meat. To be honest I was so hungry that I thought forget the smell as long as it takes good, well it did not, it was nasty. I m not talking about the restaurant itself, they probably have different people cooking at this location but I think they do not wash the meet before they cook it . We drove by past week and decided to try it out this weekend. We ordered some empanadas, tequeños and pastelitos. Everything was perfect, fresh and made with care. My husband is from Venezuela, so we are always thrilled (and willing to drive far, far away) to try new Venezuelan fare. Mango's Latin Grill did not disappoint! We were both feeling very traditional, so I ordered the pabellon (shredded beef with a tangy sauce, black beans with salty white cheese, fried plantains, and white rice) and my husband ordered the patacon (a sandwich consisting of beef with tomato, onion, sour cream between two fried plantains.) Normally we try one another's dishes, but the plates were enormous and we both ended up sticking to our own food. It didn't help that the husband ordered pastellitos con carne and a couple of empanadas as appetizers. And even the passion fruit juice was filling. From what I can tell from the one dish and two appetizers I tried, Mango's is a solid place. The food tasted like the food you eat in Venezuela, and the pastellitos were superb. I would recommend eating here if you like Venezuelan food (especially the food from Maricaibo - which is apparently very hard to find in the states outside Miami and New York) and if you like Latin food in general. read more

The traditional Christmas dish comes with Hallaca (Venezuelan style tamal), chicken salad, pernil (pork) and pan de jamon ( bread stuffed with ham, bacon, olives and raisins); if you go over there, please try it! It's delicious. We order this to go every year for our Christmas dinner, and our guest always were impressed! Taste, quality and quantity are excellent. Well I liked this place a lot but, the more I went the more sketchy it got. They started trying to over charge me for stuff like and just talking really fast so I wouldn't notice. I got a dinner for me and my parents that came out to $55 & then they charged me $72 and didn't even give us all of it. I showed on the menu the prices and the guy kind of mumbled in Spanish and was like "no, that's wrong.." So, after going like 5 times the whole welcoming atmosphere kind of disappeared... I don't know what happened. Anyways foods good but watch the prices. (& they will give you a receipt of just the total.) I have been to this place one time. The only reason I have not gone back is that I live in Alpharetta and I am not in the area much. When you walk in you get the feeling everyone kind of knows everyone. It is not a bad feeling, it feels more personal. Food: It was so great. I cannot remember the name of the dish I had. It involved a thin steak, beans and rice, and a side of maduros. Everything was seasoned well and it came in a timely manner. I ate beans but I loved their black beans and I actually could have eaten just the beans and rice without the meat, it was seasoned THAT well. Cost: So cheap for the quantity and quality of food you get. I have never had Venezuelan food but now I am willing to try more. Service: The feel was hole in the wall, but those tend to have the best food in my experience when it comes to ethnic food. The waitress could barely speak English and my limited knowledge of Spanish helped. The menu is primarily in Spanish but there are smaller English translations for non Spanish speakers. Overall, I had a good experience since I went for good food. I am so glad I took a chance and tried their food. And if you are into thrifting, Park Ave Thrift is a few stores down.
