If you want great quality Colombian food.... please look no further. This spot has amazing food. It's always fresh and the service is just as great. I always grab some empanadas on the weekends for breakfast. The food is just delicious! I always recommend this restaurant.

    WORMS

Warning We ordered a mini bandeja paisa from this place and guess what came with the beans? WORMS. According to the owner, those weren't worms, but fat pieces from the meat. Clearly they were worms. We tried reaching out to the place, but it seems that it also lacks from customer service. We had to go to the restaurant personally to ask for a refund and they only gave a partial one since we touched food. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

We had a waitress that didn't speak a word of English, so that made for an awkward experience. There was another waiter that did speak English, who helped out momentarily. You would've thought that knowing that there was a language barrier, that they would've reassigned the waiter who spoke English to our table. Nope. On one hand, I was walking into a Colombian restaurant - so I could completely understand that the employees would speak Spanish as their native language (and that a large volume of their clientele were also native Spanish speakers). On the other hand, this was in Lawrenceville, Georgia so I believe that there is a reasonable expectation that they would be able to communicate with English speaking customers. You would think... Due to the language barrier, we were largely ignored. We ordered by pointing at menu items on the menu. Most of our order arrived. Since we were ignored by our waitress after our food was delivered, I had to go to the English speaking waiter to get the check which we ended up paying at the bar. For what its worth, the food was decent. Ordered empanadas. I liked the fried cornmeal shells with the potato and beef filling. Yum. Ordered Queso con Chorizo. The melted queso arrived with the whole chorizo sausage, but we never got arepas to go with it. Awkward. The chorizo was very flavorful. Finally, we had also ordered Bistec a la Criolla (steak in a creole-style sauce). Tasty, but unwieldy. Obviously, the service (or lack thereof) made us feel completely unwelcome... ruined the entire dining experience.

Deliciousness!!! Can't beat it for $8!!!

Luckily I got the bright idea to try to kill two birds with one stone and grab some grub while catching what was left of the game. Since I've been to Colombia quite a few times I figured I'd compare their cuisine to what I'm used to seeing and tasting when actually traveling out that way. Sure enough they were showing the game on a nice big screen with a couple of other folks in there with me on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't packed wasn't completely empty just like I like it. Their menu actually has both what you typically see in a Colombian restaurant in Medellin or Bogota while adding a lot of other options that you might not see at a typical Colombian restaurant in Colombia. The food actually turned out to be tastier than expected. The salad was very fresh...freshness and simplicity being signature adjectives used in describing good Colombian fare. The Pechuga de Limon...Lemon Chicken Breast was tasty with the right amount of tang and salt without being overwhelming. Rice and maduros (Sweet Plantains) were good as well. Meal ran me $14 which was the only part that did not remind me of Colombia lol. But quite fair for Atlanta. This place is in a plaza where you dont have to worry about parking. Service was also very good. And as a bonus I discovered that they have rumbas on Friday and Saturday nights til 4am. I am quite excited to partake in that! Maybe it will feed my frequent hunger to get on a plane and salsa outside the states. To be continued...

I tried the passion fruit juice without sugar (it's good they give you the option to choose if you'd like sugar or not), another star for that. They brought us chips and salsa on a side, which made me feel like I was in a Mexican restaurant. If the owner could change that for the Colombian "pan de bono" it would be the cherry on top, nothing more Colombian that a good pan de bono. I ordered chicken with mushroom sauce that was delicious. I substituted vegetables for the rice. The beans weren't tasty at all, I would cook them with natural broth, more veggies and spices. The server was friendly, polite and was attentive, another star because of him. Keep up the hard work guys, I know you've only been open for 6 month. I'm sure you'd get better.

I came by today (my second time here) and the pan de queso was fresh and had just come out of the oven along with some sweet empanadas. I came for some empanadas de carne, buñuelos, milhojas, and some pan de boño, of course. When I saw the pan de queso coming out hot, I decided to go all out and order some of those too. With that said, the buñelos today were much fresher than the last time I had them, and so were the empanadas! The pan de queso was still warm while I was eating it and so good! I ordered an empanada con arequipe and somehow I ended up with an empanada chambray (guayaba and a cream cheese), which was actually a great mishap because it was amazingggggg and is officially my new favorite item from here! The pan de boño was surprisingly a little hard like it had been sitting. The rest of the food was so fresh! The man who's always there said the milhojas were just restocked, but after eating everything I came home and put my slice in the fridge. The last time I was here was at the end of the night and I wouldn't recommend coming then as things certainly weren't as fresh as they were this second time around. This is a no frills type of place that sits at the end of a large shopping plaza. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and the parking is plenty. Ven y disfruta!
