Not a very good experience compared to previous visits, which was very disappointing. The hostess brought over our orders which was dripping all over the place and she did not even apologize or offer to clean it up. I went and retrieved napkins and cleaned the table myself. Additionally, one of the attractions is the shaved ice that comes with the desserts. In all of our orders there was little to no ice. I asked about this when paying and I was told that there are new people and that the machines were cleaned recently. These all seems like excuses but who knows, I am no expert on how these things are made. The worse was being told that they no longer accept American Express. This really irritated me but I do understand that small businesses are sometimes reluctant to deal with the high interchange fees of American Express in comparison to Visa or Mastercard. My experiences at other Mango Mango locations were way better than this spot. I will try them one more time to see if they at least improve on the quality of the desserts so check back for an update. I always hated it and this time someone didn't realize the lid did not even close properly and on top of that, forgot to even tape the lid and bowl together. I only come here to buy takeout so my order might be biased. I love the mango pomelo sago or mango sago here! It's so fresh and has such a strong mango taste. The Mango pomelo sago is really good because the mango is sweet but the pomelo is tart so it helps to balance out the flavors. The sago adds a nice texture and is chewy. The name "mango mango" hints the showcase item on the menu. But they don't use ordinary mangos. They use handpicked honey mangos imported from Brazil. These mangos are perfectly ripe, sweet and juicy. I ordered a mango sundae with mango ice cream, chunks of fresh cut mango and whipped cream with a mango purée drizzle. It was absolutely delicious! When the server places it on the table I said to myself "I'll never finish this" but when I was done I actually craved more! Sooo good! They have everything from durian crepe cakes to fresh waffles with coconut ice cream. They also serve slushy drinks and hot teas. I had a banana slushee that was very refreshing. Mango Mango is one of my favorite dessert place in Chinatown. I really like the atmosphere and decoration is pretty fancy here. Compare to the Mango Mango in Chinatown, this Mango Mango is a lot bigger and has more comfortable seating which is completely the opposite. I really liked Mango Mango since I first tried it in Chinatown. With a large variety of options for fruity desserts especially Mango base desserts. Sadly I wish the Brooklyn location would had better services and the taste of their desserts is also not as good as Chinatown. Maybe because I am very use to the taste of the Chinatown location? The Brooklyn location taste more watered down. I would still prefer it but I don't go crazy about it even though I love love love Mangos. They do provide water which the Chinatown's Mango Mango doesn't. Note: DO NOT GET THE GREEN BEAN TONG SUI, it was tasteless and just tasted like green beans in water I would recommend for group hang out, the seating here are really nice and comfy. Hmmm, so I'll start by saying I only tried two desserts here and they were really both just...okay. Got the durian crepe cake ($8) and dessert with mango pieces, ice cream, rice balls, and mango juice (around $6.50-$7). I'm not a fan of durian- this is my third time trying it and I personally think it tastes like onions. Not a fan. But the cake itself was moist and beautifully layered and designed. $8 for one slice though is a bit hefty of a price tag. The mango dessert bowl was actually pretty good. It didn't taste artificial (like I find most fruit dessert places) and it wasn't overly sweet. I enjoyed the different textures with the fruit pieces, ice cream, mango juice, and chewiness of the rice balls all in one bowl. I do think the prices are decent and pretty fair and I would come back here again to try other stuff. The crepe cakes have other flavors in mango and matcha and their menu is rather extensive. I'm giving it three stars based on the two desserts I tried but I have no qualms with coming back and trying more and seeing how other ones are too. read more

I walked in and noticed there were about 8 tables with banquet seating, fancy. Everything was backed up and you could see it wasn't any of the staff's fault, only management because they should've used experienced people to manage the flow of business, especially inside the kitchen. I've noticed the wait was only caused by the flow of the food coming out of the little window from the kitchen. Most of the staff was just standing around waiting for the food to come out. I didn't know I had to leave my name down so this girl kindly came up to me to take my name down. She seemed confused as if she never heard of the name Carrie before so I just gave her an easier name to write down, I'll be Carmen for this dining experience. Hey, she tried. I just want my mango. I didn't keep track of how long I waited since my phone died. It felt like 10 minutes, didn't feel long. I asked one of the girls if they could charge my phone for me behind the counter and she gladly did it for me. Life saver! After we sat down, I was ready to order right away. The girl explained to me that they had this promo where I had to scan and share about their business on Moments on my WeChat. Since my phone had died, I had to wait for it to charge before I can share and receive the promo. I eventually waited until my phone was charged, shared the promo, received my food and really enjoyed my experience there. Decent place for desserts-- perfect for a hot day! I've tried Mango Mango in other locations as well and this place was similar in terms of service and food. (1) mango pancake-- pieces of mango topped with cream wrapped in a thin layer of pancake. This was worth a try, but I wouldn't get it again. Very light and not overly sweet. (2) durian dessert bowl with purple rice and sago-- I absolutely LOVE durian so this was very refreshing. There was durian ice cream and pieces in the bowl. Some of the sago still felt hard and frozen which I didn't really like, but overall was pretty good. (3) green tea Mille crepe-- standard crepe with matcha flavor.
