We got a banana Nutella crepe to eat there and two different types of pancakes to go. The crepe was okay, I am used to eating better crepes, so this was just okay. Honestly, I wanted to try everything on their menu because it looked so good, but I have tried mango ice cream and sundaes before, so I wanted to try their durian ice cream with pieces of durians, banana and grass jelly. The price is reasonable for what you get, and it's not sweet. I don't have a sweet-tooth, so I was really happy that this was not sweet at all. They will send you a text message when the food is ready, and if you are not there within 5 mins, your desserts are put in the fridge so it doesn't melt. I visited this place twice through a Facebook group recommendation. Upon entrance, you are greeted with a clean, bright and welcoming ambiance. The selection can be quite overwhelming but it's highly unlikely that you won't find something you like. I got a mango cake, Oreo crepe cake, taro ball dessert, mango coconut jelly dessert and another mango dessert. I don't remember all of the names. But, everything came on looking so aesthetic on a tray. It looked a little too perfect to eat, however, that didn't stop us. Within 15 min, everything was happily devoured. I haven't had glutinous rice balls (tang yuan) in forever, so those items really caught my eye. It was hard to choose between black sesame, almond paste, and ube soup, but I've never had the ube variety before so I knew I had to try it. After driving 30 minutes back up to Broomfield, I was glad the soup was still very warm when I opened it. Finally!! Denver has a place dedicated for Hong Kong desserts. Opening weekends are a hit or miss. Sometimes they're so busy that they run out of stuff or they're so busy and the items end up being subpar. However, Mango Mango did wonderful in their opening weekend when we went on Saturday. Just a warning if you aren't comfortable around durian, the smell might knock you out at first. But as a durian lover, the place smelled delicious. Onto the food. We came on opening weekend so we got a bogo offer. We ordered the mango snow with black rice along with durian dessert. Both were delicious and the right amount of sweetness. The mango was good but the durian was the one that left a strong impression and I will be coming back with my parents since they love durian desserts whenever we're in cali or New York. Don't get it twisted, this place smacks. I don't have a single complaint. The mille cakes are rich but not sickeningly sweet; we preferred the matcha to the mango. The layered crepes lend this dish a great "springiness" that you don't find in normal cakes. We've tried three different kinds of "mango bowl" or whatever they call them, and they've all honestly been superb. If you are looking for something that is very sweet, then these bowls are probably not going to do it for you. They are lighter and more refreshing than a lot of desserts that Americans are used to.
