Elote loco, pepino with Takis, and mangonada

This is our first time here and I am absolutely impressed with the food. The mango and cucumbers were so fresh! The corn was cooked perfectly! At first I thought we had gotten way too much food but we ended up finishing all of it the service was friendly and fast despite the long line. Great food, great people! We hope to come back soon!

Mango with chamoy was amazing! made me miss my hometown in Mexico. The elote was not good bc it wasn't what it is usually like in Mexico. the chocobanana was also rlly good.

We stumbled upon this place while shopping at the mall. They had a line but it went pretty fast. The mangonada was fresh and delicious. Just thinking about it make me want one now. Plentiful. They didn't skimp at all. My niece enjoyed her elote. She said it was one of the best she's had. I enjoyed watching them make all the orders. It was like a little show.

I received a mangonada that tasted just like water and Lime mixed together. They forgot my order and I was waiting for almost an hour. Once I went up to the counter , they said ok sorry we'll get right on it. The lady rushed and made it. By the time she gave it to me the topping mangos were all the way at the bottom of the cup. I tried it and threw it in the trash immediately. Horrible service and overpriced. No thanks!! La neveria in woodbridge is x100 better in service and quality.

Thank you so much for opening this place!!! I've been thinking about how strange it is that the closest mangonada to DC is Manassas, & now there's an awesome new close place! I saw the place being built when a few weeks and I was so excited I took a video for friends! I was in the mall last night a few minutes before closing (after a film) and I came here... so glad they were open & bopping! Everyone was so kind & of course the mangonada was delicious... I want to try more things off the menu soon. Looks like a fun place to work too! Definitely bringing friends & family

The girls working are so sweet and super nice. The lines move a little slow but that's because they make everything fresh to order which in my opinion is AMAZING. I'm glad we finally have something like this local. It's been a long time coming. I no longer have to drive to Woodbridge to get my craving fix. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

Corn, strawberries + cream

Placed an order via UberEats a few days ago and although the order that arrived was incorrect (corn on stick vs. corn in a cup), Mauricio (owner) took care of it immediately. I contacted him directly and he sent the correct order my way within minutes. On top of being incredibly friendly, you could tell he genuinely felt bad for getting the order wrong. I haven't had the chance to try other items on the menu, but I was not disappointed by the corn, strawberries + crema, or the chocobananos. Looking forward to trying out the other items soon!

Me throwing it away

If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried way better places for esquites and mangonadas. First the mangonadas is like cut up mango that's all. Every other place actually blends it. Also the esquites the corn was okay but the taki on top aren't even crushed up they might aswell give you a small bag n pour it yourself.

chocobanano

Good place for some snacks, located inside springfield mall. i got the elote in a cup and the large was a generous serving, pretty flavourful. also got that chocobanano with the peanuts.

First things first: clearly the camera did not eat first here, and honestly, that tells you…read moreeverything you need to know. We tried three items: the red velvet cake, the mocha cake, and an apple pastry (not sure of the exact name, but it reminded me of an apple turnover/empanada). Let's start with the red velvet cake, so good. Moist, flavorful, and honestly better than I expected. Red velvet is one of those cakes that's easy to mess up, but they executed it perfectly. What impressed me even more is that we bought it right before closing, didn't eat it immediately, and it still tasted amazing hours later even after being refrigerated. The mocha cake was well-made, soft, spongy, and clearly high quality, but it just wasn't for me. It has a strong coffee flavor, so if you're a coffee person, you'll probably love it. For me, it was about a 6/10. Now the real star: the apple pastry. This was everything. Perfectly flaky, lightly crisp on the outside, and filled with fresh, flavorful apples. It melted in your mouth! could've easily eaten multiples of these!! Service was also a highlight. Even though we came in right before closing, the staff was kind, patient, and efficient. Nothing felt rushed, which I really appreciated. The shop itself is cute and quaint. Perfect for a quick stop or a casual treat. Overall, Paris Baguette delivered. Some items may come down to personal preference, but the quality is there. I'd absolutely go back, especially for that red velvet cake and the apple pastry . Sidenote: they also have candles & birthday decor for purchase!

I got a savory croissant and my friend got some sweet pastries and some to take home! The customers are kind of rude though- leaving tables and floors messy with spilled foods or drinks- which is unfortunate.

They have everything from small bites like cookies and pastries to full size cakes & tarts. They also have single serve slices of some of their cakes like the chocolate mousse cake. We went for breakfast sandwiches and tried both of the base bread options. The snowflake bread was soft and pillowy (my favorite) and the brotchen bread was slightly crisper & a little bit saltier, also amazing. Eggs are fluffy and a great portion size. Added cheese to each and smoked bacon. A delightful breakfast treat. On the way out, I got a baguette for a last minute appetizer need. It was so soft and freshly baked (and big!). I'm going back today for more fresh bread. There's also plenty to shop for like mustards, jams, cheese and charcuterie, grab and go items, and beverages. This place has summer chalet vibes & is very upbeat and friendly. Lines can get long during typical busy hours, so it's not super quick if you're in a rush. Great place to come relax.

As one might expect, their pastries were lavish and had many different ways of delivering chocolate. I saved only a seasonal Sakura for myself as we approach cherry blossom season. I got a large spread which was consumed by a happy group. Adding a farmer's bread, which was a light rye, as well as some imported German butter, also went over well. I did not have need of the imported chocolates and other packaged goods, but there was certainly plenty there worthy of perusal.

Absolutely wonderful!! Annandale's Soricha is one of the DMV's best and most unique dessert and tea…read morecafes. They're best known for their bingsoo, or Korean shaved ice, which is perfectly fluffy and delightful, with a sweet, milky flavor that acts as a great canvas for all their toppings. You can't go wrong with of their bingsoo options, but they do run a little bit large and are meant for 2-3 people to share. If you're in the mood for something smaller, they do have a delightful selection of other desserts, chief among which is their rice paper waffle. This glorious confection is a super light, crispy waffle made entirely out of rice paper (which, as a side bonus, also means it's gluten-free). It's slightly chewy on the inside but generally incredibly crunchy and airy. It comes topped with a lovely rice-based syrup that tastes a bit savory -- almost malty -- and black sesame. You can also just get a scoop of their rich, creamy ice cream (instead of the shaved ice that it normally comes on top of), and it will be topped with a generous helping of red bean paste, injeolmi powder, sliced almonds, and corn flakes. The combination of flavors and textures levels up this humble little scoop to a full-scale dessert with sweet, savory, and nutty notes. Aside from their sweet treats, Soricha also has a bunch of fun drinks. They have a long menu of expertly brewed artisan teas, or you can also cool down with one of their refreshing fruit mixes. The omija berry refresher is particularly lovely, with a great balance of tart and sweet flavors that make it the perfect summertime drink. Beyond the food, the service is also super friendly and quick, and the cafe is gorgeously decorated with chill, relaxing ambient music. It's a delightful place to hang out with a friend to chat, finish some work, or do a bit of reading. I will note, however, that it is quite expensive -- the bingsoo is about $20, and the teas are a minimum of $7. It's so worth it every time, but it's definitely more of an occasional treat than an everyday indulgence.
