This is my third time at this location and it never disappoints. We just visited yesterday because I saw they were having a promotion on IG for their birthday and selling $1 mangonadas with no cap! I immoderately knew I had to go as this is usually about $7-8. My friend and I went to buy ourselves some and I bought another one for my mom (3=$3.18). We went around 1pm a couple of hours after opening and were pleasantly surprised to not see a line yet (they did end up having a long line later on in the day per their IG). The customer service was decent and I didn't know they had remodeled so I was a bit sad to see their art wall go but it was nice to see that the workers had more space to work/move around since it's a small storefront. The mangonadas were a 10/10 for me and my friend! Mangoes were sweet and not too overpowered by the spice. Additionally, they had like a creamy mango sorbet at the bottom which is a new addition but sooo good!! My Hispanic mama on the other hand gave it a 7/10. (She's hard to please so this is actually a good rating from her lol) I can't wait to come back! P.S. their dulce de fresas is super yummy and sweet too! read more

Had the worst experience here! Not only was the mangonada trash but the cashiers attitude was horrible. She was going back and forth about how they make their mangonada and she doesn't make the rules and so on. Mind you there were other customers and my kids around. Very unprofessional employees and I will NEVER recommend this place. And to the manager, is this how you train your employees? They're a representation of your business. My husband and I tried the Esquite with takis and a Mangonada yesterday (03/24/24) and honestly we were really disappointed... the esquite just tasted like plain corn with flavorless cream and I've had esquites before and they had flavor whether it was condiments or just plain salt but what I had yesterday was just warm corn with mayo nothing special... This is our first time here and I am absolutely impressed with the food. The mango and cucumbers were so fresh! The corn was cooked perfectly! I received a mangonada that tasted just like water and Lime mixed together. They forgot my order and I was waiting for almost an hour. I went here the other day bc my boss asked me to get her a minuta (shaved ice). She sent me around 5:30pm and I got back to my job at 6:30!!!! UNACCEPTABLE. They were short-staffed and busy so when one of the girls asked if I could wait before taking my order so she could make some of the other ones, I said that's totally fine, I understand. After 15 min they finally took my order, still okay. There was a lot of people waiting, 3 girls were working so I felt bad for them. I WAITED 45 MINUTES FOR SHAVED ICE; some orders that came after me were made before mine and some were shaved ice too! It literally takes 2 minutes to make it, I even told them "excuse me, I've been waiting here for a minuta for so long, some people who came after me already got their orders I don't understand", and they blamed it on them being short staffed, but okay? you know first come first serve right? or at least if you dont do that, you could've made all the shaved ice at once, how come the people after me got theirs first, and they didn't even apologize for the wait or anything. They weren't good at communicating with customers nor each other. The owner needs to get more staff bc that was ridiculous. I can't really speak on taste bc it wasn't for me, but customer service was a no, I would never go back here if my boss asked me to, and I wanted to try some stuff off their menu as well but after this experience, no way. The girls working are so sweet and super nice. The lines move a little slow but that's because they make everything fresh to order which in my opinion is AMAZING. I'm glad we finally have something like this local. It's been a long time coming. I no longer have to drive to Woodbridge to get my craving fix. The music was blaring so it was hard to communicate. I'm all for good music but that was too much. I received my small cup of corn that looked sad as it didn't have much color to it. I dug into my corn and was disappointed. Bland and it had mustard in it. That's strange! The mangonada had better flavor but I definitely ran into a lot of the pieces that had some hard skin still on. I would say to maybe tweak your recipe, especially on the corn. Mangolina is a blessing to the whole Springfield area. I was so excited when they opened, I went almost every week before covid19. Thankfully they are now open for uber eats and curbside pickup! There was a snag with my Uber eats order, but they were so gracious and responded so quickly to my concern. They sent me two elotes and tajin and chips and candies to make up for it! Everything there is sooo good and all the people who work there are incredibly kind. For people who may not be familiar with mangonada: it is a sweet and savory treat that might be intimidating, but if you like mango or any sort of gentle kick in terms of spiciness, definitely try it! I would suggest a smoothie if you're more on the go, mangonadas are definitely a dish best eaten with patience and can get a little messy. Definitely worth it though! read more
