This is my third time at this location and it never disappoints. We just visited yesterday because I saw they were having a promotion on IG for their birthday and selling $1 mangonadas with no cap! I immoderately knew I had to go as this is usually about $7-8. My friend and I went to buy ourselves some and I bought another one for my mom (3=$3.18). We went around 1pm a couple of hours after opening and were pleasantly surprised to not see a line yet (they did end up having a long line later on in the day per their IG). The customer service was decent and I didn't know they had remodeled so I was a bit sad to see their art wall go but it was nice to see that the workers had more space to work/move around since it's a small storefront. The mangonadas were a 10/10 for me and my friend! Mangoes were sweet and not too overpowered by the spice. Additionally, they had like a creamy mango sorbet at the bottom which is a new addition but sooo good!! My Hispanic mama on the other hand gave it a 7/10. (She's hard to please so this is actually a good rating from her lol) I can't wait to come back! P.S. their dulce de fresas is super yummy and sweet too! read more

My husband and I tried the Esquite with takis and a Mangonada yesterday (03/24/24) and honestly we were really disappointed... the esquite just tasted like plain corn with flavorless cream and I've had esquites before and they had flavor whether it was condiments or just plain salt but what I had yesterday was just warm corn with mayo nothing special... The mangonada... SUPER disappointing! This is our first time here and I am absolutely impressed with the food. The mango and cucumbers were so fresh! The corn was cooked perfectly! At first I thought we had gotten way too much food but we ended up finishing all of it the service was friendly and fast despite the long line. Great food, great people! I'm not sure why the reviews are so low!!! Every time I've gone, the liens speak for this establishment alone! This place is LOVED by its community and I'm so happy to support. They have delicious traditional Latin American snacks. I've had the elotes, esquite, fresas con crema, fresas y banana con cream and have left happy every time!! My only suggestion would be that they add a Miguelito option to eat with mangos. Very generous portions and kind staff!!! read more

We stumbled upon this place while shopping at the mall. They had a line but it went pretty fast. The mangonada was fresh and delicious. Just thinking about it make me want one now. Plentiful. I received a mangonada that tasted just like water and Lime mixed together. They forgot my order and I was waiting for almost an hour. Once I went up to the counter , they said ok sorry we'll get right on it. The lady rushed and made it. By the time she gave it to me the topping mangos were all the way at the bottom of the cup. I tried it and threw it in the trash immediately. Horrible service and overpriced. No thanks!! La neveria in woodbridge is x100 better in service and quality. read more

I went here the other day bc my boss asked me to get her a minuta (shaved ice). She sent me around 5:30pm and I got back to my job at 6:30!!!! UNACCEPTABLE. They were short-staffed and busy so when one of the girls asked if I could wait before taking my order so she could make some of the other ones, I said that's totally fine, I understand. After 15 min they finally took my order, still okay. There was a lot of people waiting, 3 girls were working so I felt bad for them. I WAITED 45 MINUTES FOR SHAVED ICE; some orders that came after me were made before mine and some were shaved ice too! It literally takes 2 minutes to make it, I even told them "excuse me, I've been waiting here for a minuta for so long, some people who came after me already got their orders I don't understand", and they blamed it on them being short staffed, but okay? you know first come first serve right? or at least if you dont do that, you could've made all the shaved ice at once, how come the people after me got theirs first, and they didn't even apologize for the wait or anything. They weren't good at communicating with customers nor each other. The owner needs to get more staff bc that was ridiculous. I can't really speak on taste bc it wasn't for me, but customer service was a no, I would never go back here if my boss asked me to, and I wanted to try some stuff off their menu as well but after this experience, no way. There's so many other places in the mall and I've never had an experience this bad read more

Thank you so much for opening this place!!! I've been thinking about how strange it is that the closest mangonada to DC is Manassas, & now there's an awesome new close place! I saw the place being built when a few weeks and I was so excited I took a video for friends! I was in the mall last night a few minutes before closing (after a film) and I came here... so glad they were open & bopping! Everyone was so kind & of course the mangonada was delicious... This place is a rip off!!!! 2 and 1/2 bananas, 1 spoon of condensed milk and 1 spoon of fake whipped cream for $8.00 + tax!!! If I could, I'll give it zero stars. Customer service is horrible. The girls working are so sweet and super nice. The lines move a little slow but that's because they make everything fresh to order which in my opinion is AMAZING. I'm glad we finally have something like this local. It's been a long time coming. I no longer have to drive to Woodbridge to get my craving fix. Placed an order via UberEats a few days ago and although the order that arrived was incorrect (corn on stick vs. corn in a cup), Mauricio (owner) took care of it immediately. I contacted him directly and he sent the correct order my way within minutes. On top of being incredibly friendly, you could tell he genuinely felt bad for getting the order wrong. I haven't had the chance to try other items on the menu, but I was not disappointed by the corn, strawberries + crema, or the chocobananos. Looking forward to trying out the other items soon! read more

This place is overhyped. The only thing that is relatively good is the mango twists. I ordered the horchata and it was trash. Not worth the $5 at all. I could taste the powder and it's not supposed to taste like that. I ended up throwing it away. Don't waste your money. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried way better places for esquites and mangonadas. First the mangonadas is like cut up mango that's all. Every other place actually blends it. Also the esquites the corn was okay but the taki on top aren't even crushed up they might aswell give you a small bag n pour it yourself. read more

Mangonada was not good at all and overpriced! They only had mango chunks in it and they were not blended at all. All you could taste was chamoy from the straw and had to eat the chunks with a fork. read more

My first experience with elote and it was a bust! I was SO excited to try this place with my friend . We both wanted to try the elote. I've never had it before and she promised me that it was something delicious. However, upon first bite, we both looked at each other like something wasn't right. I actually had to spit mine out (gross, I know). I want my virginity back! I can't believe my first experience was so terrible. Also, the customer service is cold and awkward. I had been wanting to try this place. Originally from a border town living on the east coast I love elote and mangonadas so I was anticipating the goodness. The music was blaring so it was hard to communicate. I'm all for good music but that was too much. I received my small cup of corn that looked sad as it didn't have much color to it. I dug into my corn and was disappointed. Bland and it had mustard in it. That's strange! The mangonada had better flavor but I definitely ran into a lot of the pieces that had some hard skin still on. I would say to maybe tweak your recipe, especially on the corn. If you're putting mustard and/or ketchup it's not right. Lime, butter, cotija, chile. I want this place to be better so I and many others can enjoy it. read more

I had the mangonada and it was pleasantly sweet,savory, spicy just the perfect combo! They offer a variety of treats from sweet to sour depending on your taste. I was first in line and waiting for over 15 minutes before me and the two other people behind me walked out. There were two people working and not one attempted to take our order. The owner was busy at work while the other worker went to the back sink to stand there and check her phone. I feel bad for the owner but he was well aware of the line and did nothing, leadership needs to improve. Some people took time out of their lunch break only to stand in line and not be helped. Prices and portions are also too big I've noticed, I'll stick to the mangonada place in Woodbridge. read more

Mangolina is a blessing to the whole Springfield area. I was so excited when they opened, I went almost every week before covid19. Thankfully they are now open for uber eats and curbside pickup! There was a snag with my Uber eats order, but they were so gracious and responded so quickly to my concern. They sent me two elotes and tajin and chips and candies to make up for it! Everything there is sooo good and all the people who work there are incredibly kind. For people who may not be familiar with mangonada: it is a sweet and savory treat that might be intimidating, but if you like mango or any sort of gentle kick in terms of spiciness, definitely try it! I would suggest a smoothie if you're more on the go, mangonadas are definitely a dish best eaten with patience and can get a little messy. Definitely worth it though! read more

I tried their mangonada yesterday and it was good. Came back to try their elotes and paid close to $6 for a really small serving of corn with nothing in it but mustard, ketchup, cotija cheese and no mayo. No salt, no pepper, no seasoning. Save your money and try out La Neveria Michoacána in Woodbridge. read more

I did not have need of the imported chocolates and other packaged goods, but there was certainly plenty there worthy of perusal.

It's slightly chewy on the inside but generally incredibly crunchy and airy. It comes topped with a lovely rice-based syrup that tastes a bit savory -- almost malty -- and black sesame. You can also just get a scoop of their rich, creamy ice cream (instead of the shaved ice that it normally comes on top of), and it will be topped with a generous helping of red bean paste, injeolmi powder, sliced almonds, and corn flakes. The combination of flavors and textures levels up this humble little scoop to a full-scale dessert with sweet, savory, and nutty notes. Aside from their sweet treats, Soricha also has a bunch of fun drinks. They have a long menu of expertly brewed artisan teas, or you can also cool down with one of their refreshing fruit mixes. The omija berry refresher is particularly lovely, with a great balance of tart and sweet flavors that make it the perfect summertime drink. Beyond the food, the service is also super friendly and quick, and the cafe is gorgeously decorated with chill, relaxing ambient music. It's a delightful place to hang out with a friend to chat, finish some work, or do a bit of reading. I will note, however, that it is quite expensive -- the bingsoo is about $20, and the teas are a minimum of $7. It's so worth it every time, but it's definitely more of an occasional treat than an everyday indulgence.

Besides the fact that they weren't open during their stated hours of operation, they do offer a ton of unique and well known cereals, along with a bunch of healthier options to choose from.
