It's a small diner, not much seating but amazing food. But it's located in the plaza with so many other Pakistani/indian groceries, clothing and restaurants. Taka tak tawa beef keema with naan was the best, perfect spice. Shami kabobs are not spicy at all so they are perfect for kids, or those who can't handle much spice. I have giving 4 starts because the shami kabobs were served very cold. I m sure they would've tasted so much better if they were warm. And prices are reasonable. They already have the dine in service charges added to the bill, so no need to tip unless you really want to. You will have to grab your own plates and forks from the counter, they bring the food to the table. After the lunch we grabbed sweets from Nirala and I also checked the boutique next door.

Average bryani. Looked stale. Qeema naan was better. Wait time was also 25 minutes. Bryani had no chicken pieces mostly bones

He is also very accommodating with any restrictions (I am allergic to cilantro and have never had a problem here). Basically- just go. Just go, love it, and make it your regular spot. Well worth it. Oh! Also- is gorgeous inside. It's not too loud, the decor is dark, jem tones and gold, and the bathrooms are always clean (and super cute).

The interior is modern and elegant, with dim, romantic lighting and fancy LED lamps at each table. Our server got our orders pretty quickly and food was out shortly. BUTTER CHICKEN - 22 The sauce was sweeter than I'd prefer, like they added sugar to the tomato sauce. It didn't taste as buttery or savory as I expected, which I can forgive, but the artificial sweetness to it ruined it for me personally. SAAG - 18 +2 for chicken We mistakenly assumed that if we got the chicken, it would include both paneer and chicken. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case which was our fault. From this experience, I now know that saag and paneer is a much better combination and I'm unlikely to divert from it. The chicken was bland, and the spinach base had a slightly unpleasant spinach flavor that I didn't like. Maybe it's because they didn't blanch the spinach after boiling, which explains the astringent taste and green-brown color. LAMB BIRYANI - 24 I think this was okay, but unfortunately I didn't have much of it because there was a lot of cilantro mixed in. I can't comment too much. One of my friends requested hot water, and the server made multiple odd comments towards her request which wasn't appreciated. Overall, unlikely to return since the food didn't match our preferences and it's a bit of a drive to get to.

The food we received was good,…read moreso it definitely would've been better hot (the rice was warm, but the butter chicken was cold). They also didn't have our bag ready, but that was fine; they quickly prepared it. The inside was clean and nice. Once we got home, we heated all of our food, which was butter chicken. The spice was very nice and a little tangier than what I usually get, but I enjoyed it.

What's hot - Quality. All the dishes were pretty yummy. My favorite was the samosa chaat. There was a good amount of potatoes and chickpeas and the sauce was delicious. Very good flavors. The saag paneer was a great thick consistency and flavorful. The uttapam was substantive and flavorful, as well. - Menu. Good variety and there's something for everyone- meats, veggies, and vegans. - Price. Pretty reasonable, especially given the quality and portions. Three dishes for approximately $40 is not bad. - Service. My order was ready when I arrived for pick up and within the estimated time frame, which was great. All dishes were nicely packaged and some dishes that were more liquid were also wrapped in additional plastic wrap to ensure nothing fell out. - Location. Pretty easy to find and there's a decent amount of parking. What's not - Quality. I was a little disappointed there wasn't more paneer (I.e., cheese cubes) in the saag paneer. - Parking. Many spots directly in front of the restaurant have signs saying they're 1hr parking. Depending on the day and time you go, that could be inconvenient. - Spice level. I ordered the saag paneer at the spiciest level. I tasted a slight kick, but barely. Just be aware that if you're looking for spicy food, you'll probably be disappointed. Final Answer Pretty good and would like to come back.

I go once a week or once every other week, and every time the food is consistently excellent. The portions are big, and one meal usually lasts 2-3 meals for me. Everything I have tried is really tasty, and have never had a bad dish. The one big standout is their dessert (if you have room for it) - I've tried their rice pudding and carrot pudding. I am not a huge sweets person, but I LOVE these dishes. I've actually started to mix the carrot pudding in with plain oatmeal and it is delicious. And the staff are very nice and very conscious of how long patrons are waiting for their food. I've also never had an issue with having incorrect or missing food. The excellent customer service and delicious food make this place a winner - thank you Spicelife!

Everything I've tried from here has been delicious, though, so it's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. One thing I really appreciate is how fresh the food always feels. If the restaurant is not busy, you could bring a group of 8-10 here easily, there are also 2 tables outside that can fit 6-8 each. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the kabob platter masala, incredibly flavor, nose running spice level. It comes with rice, but we ordered 1 garlic naan to soak up all the curry and that was a good choice. There were 3 shrimp, a moderate amount of chicken and lots of lamb, it was a ground lamb kabob. The Nilgiri Chicken curry was very coconut forward; the flavor reminded me of a mild Thai green curry, with the thickness of an Indian restaurant curry. If you're looking for spice without being spicy and love coconut, you'll love this. Rice was exceptional. Also ordered the Aam Palak Chaat (this is a staple for me) -- flavor was great, the dish was served cold including the spinach. I'd like to go back and try a Kati roll. Overall a great experience and I'll go back. Just know you do order vs full restaurant service. But your food is served at the table and the team checks in on you too! Great option for friends or groups paying separate checks.
