I went for my first appointment and found that the two office staff were not wearing masks over…read moretheir nose and mouth. One of them stated that she was the manager. When I said that I was confused by their lack of concern for my health, she sited Governor Desantis' beliefs on the issue. She said that if I didn't feel comfortable, I should find a different dentist. I will. Addendum. The owner of Cornerstone Dental responded to me via email about my criticism. He defended his policies as being consistent with state and local guidelines as well as OHSA Universal Precautions. He did not acknowledge that his policies do not follow the latest CDC guidelines, nor did he thank me for expressing my concerns or apologize.

They got 4 new patients and later reneged their promise for the discount. Had we known they wouldn't follow through, we would have gotten the work done elsewhere. I wish we did! They knew I had a tight window to get the work completed because I was moving and they still couldn't get it all done on time. They tried to blame their lab but they never rushed the construction of the veneer/crown according to the lab. I remember waiting in the chair for hours at a time each time I came in because they were understaffed. One time a temporary crown fell off on the way home because it wasn't adhered correctly and I had to go back in for ANOTHER hour and wait for the doctor to come in, put some glue on the crown and hold it to my mouth for a minute. When we thought it would all be over, their lab got the color wrong on a veneer and a replacement had to be mailed to me in another state and put on by another dentist. That one broke. Looks like they're using a GREAT lab. The next one the lab sent was the wrong color AGAIN. I had to have three veneers ground off, countless shots of Novocain and prolonged pain and sensitivity because they just couldn't get it RIGHT. Finally, they had the audacity to send the bill to collections without notifying my parents (who was the financially responsible party for the 2 years process) that there was any money due. After disputing the bill they wanted the full amount for "services rendered" They wanted almost $900 for something they couldn't do right FOUR times. There are so many fields where if the product or service is not delivered in the manner promised, you get a discount. But at Cornerstone Dental you do NOT get what you paid for. All they care about is getting your money and could care less if you are happy with the shoddy quality of work that they produce. The only think they don't mess up there is cleanings, so if you have any serious dental work needed, heed my warning and go elsewhere!

I really don't like to write negative reviews but since your teeth are extremely important, I felt…read moreI needed to share my story. I originally went in for a tooth being in pain. I've had the same night guard for 20 years and it recently got loose so I thought perhaps that was causing the pain. Got fitted for a new night guard. The dental assistant had some attitude, and it seemed she was talking down to her other coworkers. Since I was a new patient, the dentist asked that I transfer over the x-rays I had done at my former dentist. She said her office could help with that. After a few unnecessary calls and mails from her office, they finally were able to obtain my x-rays. Honestly, would have been easier if I had handled this request myself..... The night guard did not help my tooth pain, so I went into the office again. The dentist said I had gum erosion and needed to have my tooth bonded. I've never had a single tooth problem so I had no idea what this meant and should have done my research before agreeing to the procedure. Dentist didn't tell me how to care for myself after the procedure. I'm type A so looked up what I needed to be done for the next 48 hours. After two weeks I still was having pain from the procedure on top of the normal tooth pain I already was having. Was told by the dentist sometimes teeth are just sensitive, and nothing was wrong. I also noticed after my procedure that my new night guard didn't fit anymore. I told the dentist about this, and she said that isn't normal which come to find out it is TOTALLY normal and should have been mentioned to me before I did the procedure. I questioned if doing the bonding for my tooth was really necessary and was blown off and told to come back in a week if I was still in pain. Still was in pain so went back into the office again. Was told I would be meeting with a different dentist this time and they would be taking over my case....... She suggested that I go to an endodontist to see if I would need a root canal. We did a fitting again to correct my new mouth guard. Went to the Endodontist and he said my tooth was fine. Two weeks went by, and I still haven't heard back from the office that my night guard was ready. I called the office and was told they were going to look into in and call me back. The next day I still hadn't gotten a call so I called again. The person I spoke with story wasn't matching and just sounded that they were trying to cover up for the fact that they forgot about my night guard. I finally went in for a second fitting. Guard was still a bit off. By this point I'm over this whole experience and cancelled my next cleaning because I won't be doing business with this place every again.

[the x-rays alone were $188]. That was February 12, 2024 -- it is now September 15, and I have not gone to another consultation because I live in fear of meeting someone like Dr. Creech again. Think twice before using this dentist for anything other than cleaning. I don't ever write bad reviews but I will for this one. I am a business owner and I do a lot of videos and when I broke a tooth I immediately called my dentist Dr Creech. I went in and was told 2 options, a bridge or an implant. I had done an implant with them few years back everything went great. I am sitting in the chair with Novocaine shots and half out of it so when they said $2200 for an implant I agreed even though its a lot of money. Instead of scheduling me another day, this was valentines day they immediately proceeded to take my tooth out which I found odd that it happened so fast. I had paid $1000 at my last visit and when I walk in today to only get a flapper fake tooth, because I was told the implant could take months they wanted another $1200, I immediately said why would I pay you for the whole thing when it takes several months. The secretary proceeded to tell me they are done, this wasn't including the implant, this was just a tooth extraction and bone graft. WHY ON EARTH would I agreed to only have a front tooth removed with no implant, when I asked for an implant? I even mentioned I had commercials I had to do and wanted the implant done. I was the one that asked for a flapper tooth because I didn't want to wait a few months they told me it would take to do the whole implant. So now I am out $1000 and have my tooth removed and I don't even trust this company. I would have NEVER agreed to $2200 to be left like this, why would you not have quoted me the whole thing? I had called and got quote for tooth removal and implant $2500-$3000. You were going to charge me another $1500 for the implant. $4000 for one tooth, please run from this company!

There is a reason that Sage Dental barely gets 2 stars. They are a RIPOFF!…read more We had to find a new dentist and Sage verified they are in network for our insurance but I called 3 times to get an estimate for a check up, cleaning, and X-rays for my son prior to going in. I was told he would have to come in and no prices would be given over the phone. I should have known not to go. I knew the reviews were bad. When we arrived at the office I told them we wanted to know the prices with our insurance before they did anything. My son has had cleanings and X-rays twice a year. He just turned 18. NEVER a cavity. After the exam they said he had no cavities but he needed an extensive cleaning that would be a ridiculous amount of money (not including the X-rays or exam)! He was just at another dentist 8 months ago for a regular cleaning (covered by our insurance 2x a year) and was given a great dental report. Sage refused to do a regular cleaning. To make matters even worse while he was in the room without me they tried to up-sale him $1400 of products and devices and asked him to sign the paper to approve it. They told him he could sign because he was 18 even though I was in the front of the office and had told them I wanted to know the charges before the did anything. Fortunately my son is smarter than that and didn't sign it! We left with no cleaning and a lesson learned about Sage Dental. A complete waste of our time. Sage Dental is a rip off! Beware of the final bill. Take the reviews about this dishonest company seriously.
