I can say that I do love this place and would recommend them to anyone. I've come here for my dog's nail trimmings and exams for his heartworm medication for the most part of the last six months but this week, I brought him in to get neutered. Prior to his drop off appointment, my dog had gotten into chocolate and thrown up a lot and he also got hurt at some point while I was at work. They told me that they didn't feel comfortable operating on him since he was already hurt but that they wanted to keep him for the day to examine him. Turned out that my little guy had a fever and something called intervertebral disk disease. They called me multiple times throughout the day while I was at work to keep me updated, they stayed a little after their closing hours to accommodate me getting there after work to pick him up, and they called me the next day after I took my dog home to check in and see how he was doing. They consistently welcome me when I come in the door and make sure that my dog's needs are handled to the best of their ability. I'm honestly just thankful that they care about my dog and other pets so well and I'm comfortable leaving my buddy in their hands. Definitely recommend.

I also initially asked about flea treatment but decided to decline it because I already have the same flea treatment they would have used at home. I dropped my cat off around 8:30 a.m. and received a call around 10:00 a.m. letting me know that he would be ready for pickup around 3:00 p.m. I arrived on time and was then told that my bill was $195, plus a $5-6 credit card service charge, bringing my total to $200.85. Before the service was performed, I was given paperwork with boxes to check indicating which services I wanted completed. I agreed only to the cleaning and nail trimming. I did not authorize the additional services or charges that later appeared on my bill. After requesting an itemized receipt and questioning the additional charges, I was told that ear cleaning was included with the cleaning service. My concern is that this was not clearly explained to me when I agreed to the original $128 quote and signed the paperwork. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled. My issue is not simply that the final bill was higher--it is that I was charged substantially more than the amount I agreed to without receiving a phone call or being asked to authorize the additional charges beforehand. Even a simple phone call explaining that the total would increase would have allowed me to make an informed decision and prepare for the additional expense. Unfortunately, this experience has genuinely made me hesitant to return for future services because I now have concerns about being charged more than the amount I was quoted and agreed to. I believe customers should be clearly informed of any additional charges and given the opportunity to approve them before those charges are added to their bill.

She hasn't been able to breathe very well because her lungs can't expand to take in air because the fluid is surrounding the lungs and preventing them from expanding When I first called over the phone they helped me to assess her situation by asking me to count her breathes of air while they timed 15 seconds over the phone I learned something new today. They will drain the fluid in her chest to allow the lungs to expand and they will assess the situation to see if it is heart trouble or cancer. What ever the diagnosis is I feel better prepared and I feel confident moving forward I feel like I really came to the right place for the wellness and comfort of my kitty Camillia

My cat is indoor outdoor, I've never owed a cat but she adopted me. So I feed and give her a safe place to land but she is truly an outdoor cat that uses me for all her resources and love. She loves love. The smart lady was attacked by something, I thought another cat but these folks successfully shaved her and assessed her wounds to discover it was likely a dog attack. They treated her wounds and she was back to her vibrant self in no time. Her experience although invasive was manageable stress. She kept her cool but these guys are professionals. Highly recommend!! They had all the records for both kitties! I had them send me his most recent history with them and nowhere is his weight listed on the chart. Its fine they may use this generic message to reengage pets/people to come in, yet seems gimmicky- get a second opinion if need be!

My elderly cat has a serious issue with her neck and a complicated dental situation, and there are real concerns about what this could mean for her long-term health. Dr. Wisdom approached everything with clear clinical reasoning and a calm, steady manner. She walked me through what she was seeing, what it might be, and what our options are, and she did it in a way that respected my intelligence; honest and straightforward, but never alarmist or dramatic. My cat is usually very anxious at the vet, but she was noticeably calmer with Dr. Wisdom. You can see the difference in the way she handles animals: gentle, confident, and truly attuned to their stress. Dr. Wisdom has also been extremely thoughtful about my financial limitations, helping me prioritize what is most important for my cat's comfort and well-being without making me feel guilty or judged for what I can and can't do. In my opinion, she combines a very high level of medical skill with genuine empathy, for both animals and the people who love them. We have FeLV positive cats and they sometimes require a lot of care and a lot of extras. Dr Wisdom has always gone above and beyond for us when it comes to our cats. If she didn't know why something was happening (for example, weird bloodwork), she would tell us and then do the research and/or ask other vets for help. Our cat Ghost Pepper needed multiple surgeries to heal her eye after it had been removed and Dr Wisdom always took the time to explain what was going on, why it wasn't healing properly yet and how she intended to fix it. In May of 2023, our cat Tom was declining after being ill for awhile. Dr Wisdom had left for the day, but she came back to help us and help him cross the rainbow bridge. She didn't have to, and I will NEVER forget that she did. Dr VonderHaar and Dr Hebert have both been amazing additions to the practice. Dr V has a special relationship with our cat Rutabaga, and took extensive care of him with his dental issues before we could get his surgery done. Just recently, we had a tech visit scheduled for an injection, and Dr V didn't have to come in to see him, but she did. She took some time to pet him and talk to him. We are also getting to know Dr Hebert, as she is seeing us more often lately. She is thorough and funny and I am always comfortable with her. I have never left WAH with questions unanswered. They take the time to answer thoroughly and make certain I am satisfied with the care and answers provided. I have never felt rushed or uncomfortable. All three doctors have outstanding "bedside" manner with our cats. They are kind and gentle and listen to us. Their veterinary technicians are similarly kind, gentle and respectful. Aubrey has even won the heart of our cat Chestnut, who really doesn't like anybody. And I can't leave out the receptionists! They are kind and polite over the phone and make sure to review the procedures done when checking us out. They make sure we understand the costs for the visit and will take time to explain a charge and answer questions. I can't imagine going anywhere else for veterinary care. It is my hope that Dr Wisdom continues to expand the practice so they can provide even more specialized care.

If you truly care for you pets go somewhere else. They care more for the money they charge you than the pets actual care.
