Unfortunately, I had a horrible customer experience with this center and didn't even get my appointment. When I first scheduled the appointment, they said it was going to be over a month out for just a standard exam. I booked anyway. Then, about two weeks out from my appointment date they called me and said they were going to push me another month. When I asked them if there is any sooner availability because I had already waited a month for the appointment, she just replied "no". I let her know it was not a great customer experience and she replied "great. I'll go ahead and cancel your appointment." Needless to say, this place is clearly either overbooked or understaffed. Unfortunately, does not feel like quality care in my opinion. read more

This business charges you an automatic $200 "administrative fee", basically you pay for them to do their job. This fee covers all paperwork, records upkeep, and if you need to talk to the doctor. That's what the lady on the phone told me, sounds shady! read more

Loved this practice when I was seeing Dr. Kovacic (she has retired) but Dr. Rosen was AWFUL. I have a darker complexion and he immediately saw my last name and made assumptions about my race and background. Equally offensive is his dismissive nature when a concern is raised. I am honestly not sure why this man is in a profession treating women but avoid him. After two bad experiences with Dr. Rosen, I tried to see Dr. Lee but after waiting over an hour and still not being called back, I had to leave to pick up my daughter from school. I would highly recommend saving yourself the trouble and find a better practice. read more

OMG I had an awesome appointment with Dr. Rosen Iwas scared as to what my results was going to be and crying and everything... He made sure I was alright!!! He is an amazing doctor!!! He has a good sense of humor to light up a serious situation, and always makes sure you comfortable and at ease at all times!!! Dr. Rosen promised that he was going to call and let me know what my results was in 1 day and did exactly that, instead of someone else doing it!!! It made it that much easier to deal with my result's, I was a little sad but I am ok!!! I love him as a doctor, he is so amazing!!! I've been a patient of Dr. Lily Lee for over 4 years and will miss her as my OB, since I've recently moved to Arizona. Dr. Lee was referred to me by my neurosurgeon because he knew she would be knowledgable about my hydrocephalus while I was pregnant. He was 100% correct. I believe I was Dr. Lee's first patient with Hydrocephalus, but with the care I received, it's clear she had done her research. She kept in touch with my Neurosurgeon throughout the pregnancy as well. I felt very well taken care of. She also has a great energy to be around and makes you feel very comfortable during checkups. Dr. Lee delivered my baby in March 2019. It was the best experience of my life. Baby's head was angled in a position that wasn't allowing her to clear my pelvic bone, but Dr. Lee was able to reposition her and avoid a C-section. Baby and I were both healthy and well after the delivery and beyond! I'd also like to add, that while pregnant, I saw an Endocrinologist and a high-risk pregnancy doctor for ultrasounds, and both had nothing but praise when they saw/heard Dr. Lily Lee was my OB. I thought that spoke volumes to her character and work. Prior to the birth of my child, I had a miscarriage. I was only six weeks along, but the whole experience was heartbreaking. Nurse Susan was wonderful the week and a half leading up to, and the days after the miscarriage. She was empathetic and communicative, which helped while going through that. I never had issues with the front desk/office staff, as some of the other reviews on Yelp mention. I never experienced call hold times longer than 5 minutes and never witnessed the staff being rude. I actually thought they were very nice and friendly, I was always greeted with a smile and given a friendly goodbye. I would give a 0 if I can and I do not say that lightly. I had an appt with Dr. Betty Lee and she was a very nice doctor. My issue here is with the lack of follow up and the rudeness and defensiveness of one of the front desk staff, named Lucy. My prescription had come in and they were holding onto it for about two weeks and did not reach out to let me know they received it. I had to follow up and call. When she did call; she was defensive and very unprofessional. I am sorry - really shocked - never experienced that before, especially in a patient care setting and my profession is in healthcare. I had a great experience here! I felt really comfortable here at the office and was greeted by a kind and nice receptionist. I can't remember the nurse's name who took me back to the room but she was so funny and nice, definitely calmed my nerves about my exam. I'm so thrilled to have found Dr. Kovacic because she's everything I've been looking for! She really made me feel heard, she listened to my concerns and made me feel super comfortable. Dr. Aaron Rosen is a great doctor. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and overall a loving, kind hearted human being. I have always felt comfortable in his care. He knows how to ease my anxieties about my health complications and explains things in a way that I will understand. Dr. Rosen is great. He helped us to delivery a happy and healthy baby during a pandemic. Hands down he's one of the best doctors you could ask for. I appreciated his candor with all our questions, and his conservative approach to the safety and health of my baby and I. The office staff was beyond accommodating, and Sue the nurse was always available to answer any questions I had (she'd always call me back if busy). I also love Dr. Kovacick but, as all other reviews have said, the continuous unprofessionalism of the front desk staff have forced me to find another doctor. As one reviewer has said, I've called twice and been put on hold for 5+ minutes, then when I hang up and call back, you have to be very aggressive with them, or else they put you on a long hold again. Twice they "forgot" to order my IUD from my insurance - they said they'd give me a call within a few days of leaving the office and when I called back a week later, they told me they forgot to order it. This happened again. I called back, now three weeks after my appointment, and they said my IUD has arrived in their office two weeks before, they just didn't call to let me know and schedule an appointment as they said they would! Of course, as others have said, they make it seem as though it's your fault. I've been trying to make an appointment to get my IUD replaced for almost 3 months now. They just had to reschedule my appointment I made WEEKS ago and they don't have another appointment for another six weeks! All while this happens, the receptionists are so rude. This has gotten to be ridiculous. I'm forced to go elsewhere and pay for my IUD out of pocket just to avoid this office and the week-long wait for an opening. read more

I've seen Dr. Betty Lee for 10 years, but now that she's not delivering anymore, I started seeing Dr. Rosen in my second half of pregnancy. At first I was hesitant to switch to someone totally new, but I couldn't be happier. He is attentive, knowledgeable, and has an excellent bedside manner. If you enjoy sitting in a room wearing nothing but a paper vest for 45 minutes with no one checking in on you or updating you as to why you have not been seen, or an update on when the Dr. will be getting to you, go see Dr. Rosen and team. After 45 minutes of waiting in a room I got dressed and had to leave to go pick up my children, I passed Dr. Rosen on my way out and explained it was not very professional or considerate to leave someone waiting for so long, unclothed, with no update. He mockingly smiles at me and with a chipper voice says "I'm sorry you feel that way, make a new appointment" and proceeds to knock on the next patients door. Nurse assisting Dr. Rosen was equally rude, neither of them apologized or acknowledged this situation whatsoever, and instead made me feel like I was in the wrong. I've seen many doctors in my day and have never been this motivated to leave a review - just awful treatment and professionalism. I have been going to this practice for a number of years, and have had an overall good experience. Dr. Lily Lee was my doctor for both of my pregnancies, and she was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and made sure everything went smoothly. I ended up with a c-section and couldn't speak more highly of her care with the surgery. I have also seen Dr. Aaron Rosen in the office and have had a wonderful experience with him as well. He has a great bedside manner, made sure I knew everything that was happening during the visit, took time to make sure I had no questions and overall made the office visit very comfortable. During my pregnancies I had to call the office a few times with questions and I was always able to speak with nurse Susan or she returned my call that day which was always helpful when you get nervous during pregnancy. Definitely would recommend this practice for OBGYN care. read more

When going through the monthly and then weekly appointments that come with a pregnancy, the repeated interaction with the front office receptionist can make a difference in how you feel about your OBGYN experience. I see Dr. Kovacic at the Manhattan Beach Women's Center and I adore her, not a complaint in her direction. The issues I have are aligned with all the other reviews on yelp for this office - the front desk is horrible. They have screwed up 3 appointments and each time, they blamed me. They will change your appt without notice and then blame you as if you got the date wrong. When I call and confirm two days before the appt (b/c I don't trust these people) and you say it's confirmed, but then magically 2 days later the appt was changed, it's not me ladies, it's you! You have 1 main job, scheduling appts - please get it together!! They did it again this morning and I'm giving the office 1 more chance before I find a new Dr. I really don't want to leave Dr. Kovacic, but I've had it. Do your jobs please!!!! read more

I highly recommend Dr Rosen and Dr Lily Lee. Dr lee delivered my first baby and I received the best care imaginable. I'm pregnant with my second and have been receiving care from both Doctors. Dr Rosen has squeezed me into his schedule on several occasions to check and make sure baby is okay whenever I've had concerns. This review is for Dr. Rosen - My husband and I went to him to have our son circumcised and we were a little nervous about the procedure. Dr. Rosen is so confident, patient, considerate and has the most wonderful bedside manner that it made all our worries go away. He is affiliated with Cedars Sinai and has performed thousands of these procedures, so we knew we were in great hands. He came out to greet us when we arrived and was so welcoming, I almost forgot I was in a doctor's office. He walked my husband and I through the process, told us how to care for our son afterwards and he was so patient with us answering all of our questions. He is easy to talk to and loves babies. His nurse Sue was wonderful as well, who helped during the procedure and they both made the experience as nice as possible. He did the most wonderful job and we are very grateful. I was shocked at the rude treatment I received, both over the phone and when I went to Manhattan Village Women's Center today to have lab work done. I was not prepped that I shouldn't eat or drink after midnight and when I arrived at 8 am the music in the reception area was loud pop. My husband asked the reception to have it turned down and was refused! We had to sit for 3 hours in the lobby with other disgruntled patrons. One woman told me they were always rude in the office and she hated coming there. Another had a newborn baby she was trying to get to sleep, and still the music blared. Ridiculous. read more
