I followed their instructions for postop care, icing the areas for 15 min on 15 off for 4-5hrs. Also used wet tea bags to cover the extraction area, as instructed, several times. While there was some pain when the anesthetic wore off, the next day I was completely pain free, outstanding! Follow their instructions and it will likely work for you too. I have a second round to go thru, but I will no longer be anxious prior to the next procedure. They are a very caring and professional practice, highly recommended.

Brenda at the front desk and his hygienists always knows me by name! Dr. Fowler is so so nice and such a skilled dentist too. My favorite thing is that he explains everything. During a filling, for example, he will always check in with you to make sure you're doing okay. At each step in the procedure he will explain what is happening. Takes away any anxiety or nerves. My boyfriend was thinking about doing dental school and actually got to shadow Dr. Fowler for awhile as well! It just seems obvious that Dr. Fowler loves being a dentist, so its no surprise that he does such great work. I will be truly sad when I go off to grad school next year and have to find a new dentist, I'm sure it will take awhile to find a suitable replacement.

I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. Every dentist out there should learn his technique. With all that said, I do think the front office experience could be better. If the customer service up front matched Dr. David's clearly caring vibe, it would be 100% perfect. If you're looking for a truly professional dentist who gives five-star care and service, this is the place. Dr. David Ngo at S&L is the only one I would recommend without any hesitation.

He is knowledgeable and professional and always takes time to check in, even during routine cleanings. I usually don't wait more than 5 minutes for my appointments. There have been times where I needed immediate dental care and they are able to work with you to fit you in as quickly as possible. I have recommended him to many people throughout the last 8 years! At a previous dental office in Miami I had a terrible experience that started with a routine cleaning that turned into a root canal 6 hours later and left me with significant anxiety with all things dental related. I found out a few years later after moving to Arizona that the root canal was not performed correctly and I had to get it re-done. Dr. Ngo is incredible at calming nerves and making you feel safe when in uncomfortable situations, especially with anxiety. He talks through every step in advance and during the procedures, so that there are no surprises. He takes extra time when numbing the mouth so that the pain is tolerable and at times barely noticeable. I really appreciate this and feel like it's rare to find. I highly recommend Dr. Ngo and S&L Dental for all your dental needs.

Seriously- they always have a smile on their faces, they remember your previous visits, everyone acts professionally while still being extremely caring and sympathetic to said "fun" dental situations. I found myself with a messy root canal crown issue from a dentist I went to ages ago. It unfortunately resulted in me requiring a bone graft dental implant in my front tooth. Terrific! Ugggggg . Not any people look awesome without a front tooth, lm certainly not one;) I was recommend to Dr. Waring by my current (very good) dentist who swears by Dr. Waring's work. Both facilities communicated efficiently during this entire process... If you're new to implants, get ready to see your dentist a lot- you're gearing up for a year or so with some of these processes. From the moment I arrived, the women at the front desk and in financial services took such kind, compassionate care of me -- I was a bundle of nerves, and they made me feel completely supported. Honestly, it felt like I was surrounded by angels. Dr. Edmonds explained that one of my lower teeth was touching a nerve, which could potentially cause nerve damage. He was incredibly calm and reassuring throughout the process. When I woke up from surgery, I realized my neck pain was gone! It turns out that the tooth pressing on the nerve had been affecting my neck and upper back.
