I made this appointment in person and no one corrected my assumption that Dr. Josephson NO Longer Works for this corporation. I called today to cancel and the phone # reflects Dr. Josephson. This is pure bait and switch, deception bordering on fraud. If I was Dr. J I would serve them with a cease and desist. As a patient I would run from here as fast as you can. read more

My family has been going here for 4 years. Always a good experience as far as dental appointments can be. They seem to manage their patient appointments very well because I've never waited more than five minutes. Staff is always super nice and uses the latest technology for cleaning. Most of the work is done in house, but they will refer out for complex procedures if needed. read more

She is a true professional and took great care of me; always courteous and making sure that I was comfortable the entire time. At the urging of my husband, I went to Red Mountain Family Dental as a new patient this week for a consult on a chipped crown. My regular dentist had taken a quick look at the chip and told me the tooth was stable, but I was worried the tooth might shatter. Dr. Josephson's team took X-rays, which showed structural weakness of this crown, and the crown next to it, not surprising considering both crowns are over 30 years old. Dr. Josephson explained the process, and provided several options to address the issue now, or down the road. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, courteous and professional. The dental hygienist was also and very thorough with the teeth cleaning. She definitely got her steps in when she took the X-rays. She took a lot of pictures not just the X-rays and even checked for oral cancer. I had two temporary crowns and had another appointment to seat the permanent ones in a week. One of temporary crowns had broken, and I was able to get in the same day I called. Thinking they would just repair it, and I would be in the following week to seat both new crowns, I was pleasantly surprised to find out both new crowns had come in, and they would seat them that day! Everyone was great! I knew I would have some waiting to do, because they were working me into their already tight schedule. But it wasn't that bad. I've recommended Red Mountain Family Dental before and will continue to do so! read more

This dental practice has very unfriendly service all around. Despite the fact that I started out on the wrong foot with the rude front office, I was looking for a dentist in my neighborhood to build a relationship with and I made appointments with this office for me, my husband and my daughter. Unfortunately I left here feeling very weary of the "plan" they gave us. First of all, we keep up with our dental hygiene so there shouldn't have been any major issues. We all waked out of there with expensive bills for services that weren't needed and we all felt very pressured to buy these services. I didn't breathe a word of my feelings to my family as I wanted to see what their take was on the practice. My two family members, who don't usually have an opinion, were also very unhappy and uncomfortable. I haven't gone back and I will not recommend anyone to this practice. read more

This practice is the absolute best! I had a difficult case involving implants and was told by another doctor that implants would not be impossible due to excessive bone loss. I was given hope after getting another opinion from Red Mountain. Today I have an awesome smile thanks to the professional and compassionate care provided by the entire staff. I had a crown done about a few months ago from what I hear crown are suppost to last up to 10 years 4 months later the crown lifted off the bottom of the root canal I had done. Thankfully not eating anything or could have swallowed it and choked since I have never seen nor heard till doing work online about this. Still planing to go back and if they would like to offer it as a free attachment or replacing back on I would be happy other wise I will be looking for another dental practitioner read more

In all fairness, i'm updating my previous review I gave on yelp. Dr Josephson addressed my concerns and fixed my broken crown at no charge to me. He is super nice and in tune with his patients concerns. The current office manager Christi worked through some issues and demonstrated care and resolve. If you've ever gone through the hassle and disappointment of finding good service providers, you'll understand how THRILLED I am to have found this RIGHT DENTIST! Scott Josephson, DMD listened to my questions and concerns, answered them fully and clearly, provided options and immediate solutions! THAT was Excellent and not found in so many other dental visits I've been through. My results are even more Excellent! After he answered all my questions, he asked me what outcome I would like, but I really had no clue--just (to me) big problems! He took time to examine me before answering my questions, but then, took time again to look and come up with his own plan for an aesthetic and cost-effective solution to my unhappy smile. Wow! Now I feel Beautiful! And have a plan I can understand and afford to address all my concerns. Red Mountain Family Dental takes my insurance (lots of others too, by the looks of it) is in a Very Nice office that doesn't feel like an airport terminal nor an overdone monument to your expenses! Making an appointment was easy because looking at their website after hours, I found I could make one then and there! Got it done. Then Monday morning, ahead of my appointment time, they called me, asked me a few questions, then we changed my appointment based on the time they thought they'd need. That really helped! Everyone from the Admins to the DMD and his Assistant were just Awesome. No more appointments that seem like sales jobs that leave me with questions to which I could get no simple answers. I had a great experience at Red Mountain Family Dental last week with Dr. Josephson. I had to have an upper wisdom tooth extracted and was nervous about the procedure going into the appointment. His dental assistants were very kind and reassuring and I felt at ease immediately. Dr. Josephson extracted my tooth with no pain and made me feel very relaxed! Lady booking appointments was very unaccommodating. Tried to make an appointment early or late in the day and was willing to schedule as far out as needed. She said, "well that's what everyone wants." She then proceeded to tell me that we're only going to be able to give you an appt in the middle of the day. Really? There are now appointments from now until whenever, first thing in the morning? She didn't seem to care when I told her that I'd go somewhere else giving that could book me early. read more
