Not much to look at from the road and I was a little nervous even pulling up to the menu screen because the lot is not well lit. There wasn't a single customer inside either so I asked the guy out back as we drove past if they were still open and he responded so nicely, I just had to give them some business. Service was 5/5 stars! Fish platter comes with fish, shrimp, fries, and your choice of either oysters or scallops. With the Manhattan platter you get both (the guy said there is an error on the menu outside). Food was 3/5 stars. Overall, I'm glad we stopped. This place looks very unassuming and isn't the best atmosphere, but the food is pretty tasty! I got a chicken gyro and it was very good, with a hefty amount of toppings (I couldn't even finish it all). The pita bread was super soft and buttery as well. The service wasn't the best and it took a while for our food to come out, but it came out piping hot so at least it was very fresh. They have an interesting assortment of menu items and it's worth a try for sure! read more

I can't understate how amazing this place is. It's in an odd part of town but is absolutely worth the drive. The menu is super expansive and everything is amazingly priced for the quality of the food. I've been here twice now, and both times got the #1 gyro combo. It comes with fries and a massive gyro for only $12. I couldn't believe the price for the portion size, but i'm not complaining at all. The meat was extremely tender and well seasoned, and the fries also had a seasoning which was great. Had the scallop pasta. I have never had a better value in any food ever. I swear there was at least 2 pounds of scallops in that pasta to the point where it got annoying that you couldn't get just pasta. You always came up with a scallop. Got a gyro bowl with rice. It was pretty for a delivery. I asked for something pretty specific and they made it perfectly to order. I can't complain. Ordered gizzards for a friend and we shared. Apparently they were tender and not overly chewy. If I need something quick and fast we will definitely order again. read more

So, this location has changed faces and hands a number of times over the past couple of years. It is now a gyros and subs place, so the menu is different, but inside it is the same equipment as what was there before. The furnishings are pretty much the same, which is not a bad thing as they are functional. I ordered a gyro platter, which comes with a drink and fries. The fries needed salt which was not available for some reason, and the drink I chose was lemonade, and that was just not good. It was... flavorless. Like not enough lemon flavor had been added, but just enough sugar was there to counteract the lemon flavor turning it into a kind of flavorless thing. Service was nominal. I ordered, it was made, my number was called, and I got my food. Regular prep time, no hassles. No complaints there. The gyro was fine, though. I know of other places in town that do a better job, and I know of at least one place that does much worse. Given that, since it is close to work, I would say that they are a place that I will be returning to as long as they are in business and don't go down in quality. read more

This restaurant is dingy with old furniture and tables, no decor whatsoever, and every time I have been there I have never seen anyone dining in. We have ordered several times and tried several things and all have led to pretty much disappointing results. The clam strips and shrimp are frozen breaded processed items that are super salty and they come with fries that have the cajun seasoning which personally, I don't care for but if you order online you don't have the option of doing without (that's my issue not theirs so I cannot fault them on that). I tried the shrimp pasta and it is so heavy with a creamy sauce that it is cloying. Mind you, I do like my fair share of alfredo and other rich sauces but this was simply way too much. It also comes with corn on the cob. That's fine but I had never heard of corn on the cob with a heavy cream dish. I had thought it would be a scampi style pasta (the menu doesn't give any info at all as to what type of pasta preparation it is but the heavy cream sauce still came as a bit of a surprise.) In general the menu descriptions are very lacking and based on experience, I was reluctant to try a few other dishes (like the rice bowl). My husband had the lamb gyro and only ate a quarter of it--he's not picky but he said the lamb tasted old and processed. He decided he didn't want to order food from there anymore and I am relieved. The last time I went (3/19/24) I pulled up to the drive through and said that I came to pick up an online order that should be ready. The woman who answered sounded a tad impatient and asked me if I could come inside. Having hurt my ankle I was hesitated but then figured perhaps they were not ready so of course I did without complaint. I hobbled in just to have her ask me if it was a "Slice" order ( I didn't realize it was an app until she told me.) I had no idea what she was talking about and told her my husband ordered it so she said his name and I replied that was correct. She then handed me the order. Um, so that is what I had to come inside for? She could not have done that through the window and saved me limping in. Quite frankly, it seemed rather picky and unaccommodating of her. What exactly is the difference? I had gone through the drive thru before to pick up my order without any problem. And to add insult to injury, she got the order wrong. Instead of a fish sandwich we got a cheeseburger which was two patties of hamburger meat of the process pre-frozen junk you would find for sale at Walmart. I ate some of it, but it was too gross to finish. Even recalling it now makes my stomach churn. Husband couldn't finish the lamb gyro. We wanted to like it and we gave it several chances. It would be nice to have a local go to but no, we won't be back. read more

12/26/24 1.3 stars - I Do not recommend. If you are in a situation like me, waiting for your car, and you want some nearby food... its the ONLY place you can eat at while you wait. Service is poor. I was served a lemonade because all they had was tea or lemonade, no soft drinks available. I ordered philly cheesesteak. Didnt have onions and maybe 1 pepper? Bread was soft. Food was hot. Taste was fine on the meat / cheese. Fries were WAY overseasoned w cajun spices & I like cajun and spicy. Decor is tough. Fairly clean but kind of sketchy looking. No one in there at 2:00 pm which is understandable given the date & time. Lady at the front doesnt want to be bothered. Really loud personal calls the whole time. Quite a few drive thru orders while i was there (why???). She took a call & said "manager isnt here he's in Ocala (You can tell - ZERO leadership/care & guidance). Chef was the best part which was pretty average as well. Spend your money elsewhere, they don't respect the process. read more

The Food tastes amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful with my order. It is an older building and establishment, but the food is great.

I went on 11/19/2024 around noon, they were super busy. There was only one person working the counter for the orders inside and the drive-through. She did an amazing job! I had the gyro combination, mine was your lamb, the lamb was amazing. The fries were too spicy for me. It had seasoned salt on it. I did not care for overall. I eat here at least once a week. The food is delicious and always freshly prepared. You definitely get your money's worth. Their shrimp or steak gyro one of my favorite... so is their shrimp and oyster meal. I highly recommend and when placing your order don't forget the lemonade. read more
