The sweet potato soup had a puréed, baby‑food texture, but the flavor itself was surprisingly rich and comforting. The star for me was the Tunisian casse‑croûte. The flavors were incredible; the albacore was tender and seasoned just right, the salata mechouia added this smoky, roasted pepper depth, and the pickled egg brought the perfect tangy brightness. Had a wonderful lunch here at Superette. The staff is lovely and the food delicious. Loved what they did with the place. Plenty of seating. Especially outside. We chose a lighter lunch and shared three options to get a feel of the food. Spanakopita (appetizer), hummus (appetizer), and fattoush salad. Spanakopita: three perfect triangles that are buttery light with a spinach and creamy feta filling. Hummus: nice size portion. It was not too thick with a drizzle of olive oil and dukka sprinkled on top. Fattoush Salad: romaine fresh and crisp. I like that the ribs were cut out. The salad was like treasure. Thin slices of watermelon radish, dried cranberries and crispy lavash with a light vinaigrette. I know I'm missing a few extra ingredients but it was lovely. Worth the trip. The outdoor seating here is beautiful and open, and going on a cooler day makes the whole place feel like the perfect weekend vibe. My friends and I spent a few hours enjoying brunch, mimosas, wine, oysters, laughter, and great service. I had the salmon Benedict this time and it was amazing -- super flavorful, fresh, and definitely something I'd order again. We've also met the owner a few times while visiting and she's always so pleasant. You can tell she's passionate about what she's created here. Update: I went again with a smaller group of ppl this time (5 ppl). I really enjoyed my time. I wasn't eaten by mosquitos bc it was the day time. It was beautiful outside so we sat outside. We moved tables quite a bit do to our size and the server didn't mind it (probably bc it had just opened). The food was great and the service is great. Happy hour is the happiest of all hours starts at Superette. I did a solo outing here Friday night. I believe happy hour is from 4 - 7pm daily. Thankfully, the weather was good enough to sit outside in the garden area. Sitting the garden area subjects you to ordering at the counter, so if you prefer a waiter - sit inside. I ordered the Mediterranean Mule and for my snack I ordered the shoestring French fries. The Mediterranean Mule has the traditional elements of a Moscow Mule but has fig vodka which gave it more of a sweeter profile that was surprisingly delicious. It still had an earthy/herbal taste more than a traditional mule but was very good and strong. I enjoyed two of these! For the snack, the shoestring French fries are coated in a Lebanese seasoning that was savory with a hint a spice. These fries were addicting! The sauce which was a garlic aioli - elevated the fries even more, and I love a good garlic aioli as well. It was creamy and had the perfect balance of garlic. Back then, I really loved the wine, the vibe, and the patio. However, I didn't love having to order at the counter, fill my own water, or clear my own table. Those self-serve elements didn't match the price point or the potential the space clearly had. Fast forward to yesterday, years later, when I was pleasantly surprised by an elevated experience. A friendly hostess greeted us outside and walked us to a table. We were immediately given menus and water. Within minutes, all my previous concerns about customer service were out the window. I found myself genuinely impressed by the attentive service. The decor is as cute as I remembered, the patio remains a gem, and the wine was just as delicious. All the food was very good and fairly flavorful. My favorite plate was the whipped feta! The whipped feta is buttery, fruity from the olive oil, and nutty from the pistachios. The plates felt like they were missing a special something to round out the meal, like an extra topping or side. I wish the portions of some of the dishes were a little bigger. The breakfast plate with 2 eggs, bacon, biscuit, and potatoes came out to $20 after tip and tax and I felt it wan't worth the price. I'm taking another star off for the wait. Just be aware that if you sit in the garden you have to go up to the bar and order as opposed to being waited on, but they will still bring your meal out to you. I had the worst restaurant experience I have ever had on June 11, 2026. The service was horrible. It took four times to get the checks correct and it still was not correct. All our food took very long to get and I never even got my meal. My daughters meal was wrong and when she did get her meal the rice was very cold and the Salmon was way over done. I'd recommend this place more for a small get together, than a restaurant per se. The food however, was a bit of a hit or miss. I ordered the short rib, which I enjoyed, and the green beans and grits accompanied it well. However, the salmon and shawarma plate were not flavorful. The house smoked salmon, tried by 4 of our guests, wasn't very tasty. The shawarma chicken was very dry and had little to no taste, unfortunately. Came here for Saturday brunch and the ambience was amazing. There were few customers and the weather was nice so we were able to take advantage of their beautiful outdoor seating. I think that the vibes were truly immaculate. I believe they have different seasonal menus. We got the breakfast plate, phyllo french toast, and hummus. My friends got the lebanese hash and smoked salmon benedict. The breakfast plate has the option of their personal breakfast sausage which was flavorful and, in my opinion, better than regular American breakfast sausages. Otherwise, the plate comes with eggs, potato hash and some jams. Everything tasted great but I did order my eggs over hard and received a moderately runny egg. My friend ordered an over easy egg in her hash and got a moderately hard egg. The phyllo french toast was GREAT. I was afraid it would be too sweet but the flavor was lovely, the texture was soft and layered. This is truly one of those items that are unique to a place and definitely worth trying. The hummus was also decent. The smoked salmon came with pieces of cooked salmon, rather than the cold smoked salmon you would see in charcuterie or a bagel. It was drizzled in a creamy sauce that paired great with the egg and fish. Only complaints are that the service was horrendously slow, especially considering there was only two other parties. Most of our food came out within minutes of each other but the phyllo french toast came out probably in about, if not more than, half an hour after everything else and the staff acted like I was rushing them when I inquired about its status. After we finished eating, it also took forever to get our boxes and check. We ended up having to get up and get the boxes ourselves after still not getting it after asking twice. read more

This is a very elegant place. The outside seating makes you feel relaxed and has a garden feel to it. You can sit inside of out at the many table and chair choices. We settled in on a chair with backs that was in line with the huge fan that was cooling off our entire area. I ordered the chicken shawarma and a cane sugar ginger ale. The tzatziki sauce was on point and the pita bread was ouffy and warm! Just a delicious meal! We had just done a three hour bike ride to Paines Prairie, so this meal was tasty and the perfect end of our jaunt! Well the owner has now posted a reply that is a complete misrepresentation instead of trying to fix a simple problem - completely tracks with the behavior described in my post. So, we were NOT asked to sit in a waiting area - we were told we had to sit in two specific chairs next to the entry door - no other choices Even though there is plenty of bench seating away from the entry door. We told the hostess, we would wait on the bench seating and she said no, we were not allowed even though there was another guest waiting there. Also, we were not given options on where to sit and the explanation given - cutting staff - does not make any sense. There are tables that are not under the tent that are just as close to the restaurant. and yes, you can fall in love with a restaurant and its space and when the owner changes the usability of the space and treats you as a child, you can fall out of love with it. read more
