Great Service. I had both the battery and screen on my Samsung Note 10 Plus replaced. Very fast. Took less than an hour. They provided a genuine Samsung screen. However, the screen did not have a layer of screen protector like my own screen. Since they did not have a genuine Samsung battery, I ordered one via eBay. Took quite a few exchange emails and texts to set up the date and time for the repair appointment. They also gave 180 days guarantee for the parts that they provided and replaced for amy defects, which in my case was the screen. While in NYC on vacation, my son fell and busted the outer screen and inner screen of his phone. I called two places within walking distance of our location. This place was actually responsive with having the part available. We came to the store and the phone was repaired quickly. They quoted me 30 minutes, but it was less than that. My Iphone SE's battery has been completely dead and scheduled my repair for 5:45 PM on 6/01/21. Knowing that I would be unable to call if any emergency happened I notated this in the comments. I arrived at 6:02-6:03 PM in a rush as I had to address additional tasks at my place of work. To my sadness, the entire place was locked up with no note of return. I spoke with the front desk attendent and they said whoever was currently working at the shop had left. If the 20 minute early/late window will not be acknowledged, please do not list this on the website. This is especially important if your client explicitly states they have no means of contacting as their only means of contact is what requires the repair. Their customer service is disappointing. I will not be returning here for their help since I am still without a functioning phone. If they are hasty to leave and not have the mindfulness to be considerate of their clientels' needs I do not have trust in their ability to patiently render their services and take care with my device. read more

Long story short, I inadvertently dropped Steve Jobs' fragile iPhone 6. I came here to get it repaired. The repair was done to perfection- and it only took a few minutes. The repair cost $120, which is highway robbery. Given the fact that I needed a working Smartphone, I realized that paying an exorbitant amount of money to have it fixed was a necessary evil. The guy who made the repair said that if I spent an extra $30 then he would install a glass screen protector. I reluctantly paid the extra money. And guess what: The screen protector didn't work. Being clumsy, I dropped the iPhone after it was initially repaired here. The so-called protective covering cracked like an egg. I eventually had to take the iPhone to the Apple Store for a second repair. After that, I got an iPhone case. DO NOT GET A SCREEN REPLACED FROM HERE. The quality is garbage!! I decided to give my iPhone 6 to my mother, who barely uses her iphone and has had an iPhone 4 since it came out with ZERO cracks or water damage since initial purchase. Her phone was dying and my iPhone 6 had a crack, so I got it replaced here before giving it to her. In less than a month, with a case, she gets a crack - not even from dropping it. She said she took it out of her purse and saw a crack. They offered a discount to replace it, but basically said it's her fault and not theirs. Less than a month, in a purse she's always uses with her iPhone 4 should NOT have cracked the screen. My mom takes care of her things. Garbage quality for $100. Update: 2 months later, my moms screen now barely responds to touch. She has to press hard and repeatedly to get her cursor somewhere. This glass is junk. Buy at your own risk. Reply to owner: I was not warned of any quality issue going with generic. It was an extremely quick interaction and replacement since I came in about 30 mins before you closed and was out in 15 mins. I chose generic because my mom barely uses her phone and keeps it in her purse. There was no IMPACT and evidently the screen is such poor quality that it can crack in her purse with a case. I called up and was quoted a price of $75-80 and was told I could come in and my phone would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I had also already noted a Yelp coupon which could be purchased and redeemed. I feared it sounded too good to be true. It wasn't. Take the elevator up to the third floor, plop down, figure out how the hell to kill 15 minutes without your smartphone, and your baby will be returned to you, good as new. Other people waiting were getting non-glass related repairs done, and their repairs seemed to be done as quickly as mine. Quick, incredibly efficient, terse and impatient awaiting your payment in their ramshackle office... it was everything I believe true NY service should be. Truly made my day - saved me not only money, but the time and stress and nuisance of new phone research and ordering. Great service! Went there after cracking the screen of my Samsung Galaxy S8. I requested a quote through Yelp, and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. And you can set up an appointment online, which makes the trip much quicker. When I got to the location, they really made an effort to explain the different parts of my phone so that I knew what had to be replaced and why. Service took around 40 minutes, and my phone is perfectly fine - the screen and LCD is OEM, and it looks (and feels) brand new! I'm very impressed, and I'll definitely be returning if I ever break my phone again! read more

I brought my S7 Edge in because the screen was cracked. They repaired it, but the home button was suddenly loose in its socket. I brought it back in so they could fix their mistake, and the man I spoke with told me I was wrong, and that there was absolutely no way it could have been their fault. He said there was no way to fix it. He didn't open up the phone to check. He only said, "Well, we can fix it for $X..." Bottom line, in fixing one part of my phone, they broke another, refused to accept responsibility, tried to get me to pay more to fix their mistake, then stopped talking to me when I told him I wouldn't pay extra. They don't do a good job, and they're extremely disrespectful. Whatever the price difference is for the next cheapest place, it's worth it to not risk getting your phone damaged. read more

I cracked my iPhone 6 screen, and other than getting the phone back on the same day (in about two hours, if I remember correctly), the price actually came down to the same as the official Apple repair price. The lighting of the phone was weird when I got the phone back - some spots were a lot brighter than others, but fortunately the store helped me readjust it immediately. However, after using the fixed phone for several months, I realized that the full brightness of my phone is now not even half of the brightness of my friend's iPhone 6, which has never been broken or replaced before. I can barely see the screen on a sunny day out. In all, the fix was quick and workable, but not great. If you have the time, I'd recommend sending it off to the official Apple repair! read more

These fine folks did a LIGHTNING FAST, OUTSTANDING repair on my iPhone 6s charging port after I went to Apple and they damaged it more than it was, rendering it in need of urgent repair or replacement. Fixed a iPhone 6s with them that wouldn't turn on. The repair was kind of pricey but I can not complain it was fixed. Fast forward a few months later fixed a cracked screen on the same phone ... A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE !!!!!!!!!!! The repair was done fast but it was not done properly ! The phone is on a constant loop of turning off and on , took it back twice and still the issue isn't fixed. A waste of my time and money. I would never ,EVERRRR do business them again. HORRIBLE. Take your business else where. Good service, fair price. I've been here 3 times (yeah I hate myself for always cracking my screen) and have had no issues with them. Definitely recommended! -UPDATE- First thing first: they give out $5 discounts for every customer who's willing to write them a good review on Yelp. Here's some facts, and only facts, about my experience with them: This morning I went in here for the 4th time. That's right, 4 times. Although they do kindly include a 60-day warranty for the screen repair, a crack came up on my screen after less than a month they fixed it for me. No big deal, just went back here and they replaced it with another one. Two weeks later I dropped and cracked my screen again, not their fault, went there and paid about $140 and they fixed it for me again. Yesterday morning when I woke up, my screen stopped working, which cost me a very important conference call with my boss since I didn't have a functioning phone. Went in today, they said it was because of the glass, and replaced it for me. Right after the repair I noticed that the color of my new screen is much blue-er than a normal screen, and the mute button on the side was nearly impossible to turn up. Oh did I mention their service attitude? Random pricing for the same problems (a lady was very upset about this when I was there this morning, she got charged more than another gentleman who had the same repair), random order of repairing (two ladies who came after me left with their devices before my phone was taken care of). Plus I don't really understand why they only take cash for certain repairs (water damage, lower quality screens, etc). Nah just kidding, I do understand. Also, I have only given 24 one-star reviews out of 300+ reviews I have. That's not "a lot of bad reviews." EDITED: These guys are real stand-up guys- NOT!!! They sent me NINETY-NINE texts in a row berating me for this review, then posted FAKE CRAIGSLIST ADS with my phone number selling iPhone and car so my phone would be bombarded with phone calls and texts. I have screenshots of the ads. This is how they deal with unhappy customers!!! Is that the kind of business you want to support? Not me!!! ********************** TL;DR, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. DON'T GO THERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are plenty of phone repair shops that do solid work in NYC. Why give your money to people who don't respect customers or their time or their money? They don't- they only care about THEIR money (yes, I know they're a business- but good businesses also care about their customers.) Here's my experience: (warning: LONG) I had a Galaxy S4 with broken LCD. I called and got quotes from several different places. They had a good price ($225 plus tax) and they were near my work, so I decided to go with them. Once I arrived, I was told that they didn't have the part and it wasn't due to arrive until 3 days later (wish they'd told me that when I spoke to them on the phone.) Since I could have it fixed within half an hour at other places, I wasn't sure if I wanted to have it fixed here. But the owner touted their work as well as their customer service, so I decided to go with them. The owner said I would receive a phone call once the part arrives. The day came, it's late afternoon, and I hadn't heard from them. So I called them and was told the part will arrive at 6 o'clock, but call before I come pick it up. So I called around 6 p.m. and was told it was finally ready- but they will be closing in half an hour! (which would be 6:30 pm) It would've been helpful had they told me that when I spoke to them earlier, especially since the Yelp profile says they close at 7 pm. Half an hour wasn't enough for me to get there, so I had to wait YET ANOTHER DAY to pick up the phone. So I wasn't terribly happy when I finally picked up my phone. But what's important is the phone was back to a working condition, so I paid the rest of the balance and left. Of course, my luck has it that that very night, I was a victim of an attempted theft of my phone. I dropped the phone tussling with the thief and the screen cracked. Luckily the thief ran off, but of course I was devastated about the cracked screen literally hours after I had picked it up. So I wrote them an e-mail that night explaining what happened and asking if they could help in any way- maybe a little discount in screen repair? I would've been cool if they hadn't offered. But I never heard back. So I decided to show up in person. I got out of work too late the next day, so I had to wait till the day after. Now, forget about getting any kind of help or sympathy because I had to wait days for my phone only to have it break in the matter of hours- he wants to charge me to fix the LCD AGAIN! He told me that they simply would NOT fix the screen by itself, and the only thing they would do in this situation is to change the entire front panel including LCD- which would cost me $175. I thought it was ridiculous that they were charging me that much for a cracked screen- a quick web search brought up not only a glass replacement selling on Amazon for five dollars and change, but other repair shops doing the repair for a LOT less, as apparently it IS possible to fix only the screen. I tried to explain this, but I was so exasperated at that point, after waiting days and having this happen and dealing with this person, that I offered all the cash I had, which was $100, and could I pay the remaining balance later? He refused. OK, you don't trust your customer, which tons of businesses do, then could I leave my ID? Nope. It had to be something worth $100, otherwise they would simply not fix my phone. It was then I realized how ridiculous this situation was. A normal repair shop would have offered to fix the cracked screen, maybe even offered a discount- NOT try to sell the same service I had gotten done only days ago, at a slightly lower price. If by small chance they did insist on that, they would probably choose to trust a customer for $75 rather than upsetting the customer terribly (I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I cried. I cried because I was so tired of trying to get this phone to a right condition and how unhelpful these people were.) So I left. These people really do not know what customer service means. Once they get your money- that's it, GOODBYE. When I left my phone, the owner gave me many business cards and asked me to spread the word about them. So here I am, doing exactly that. This place is awful, I came in with my Samsung phone, it was running slow and had a very small crack on the bottom. I didn't have a problem with the crack, just the fact that it was so slow. Not only did they make the crack way more noticeable, but my phone is even slower now! When I complained about this, they both refused to give me my money back and then practically kicked me out when I tried to talk to them about the problems in front of other costumers. Do not come to this place. If you *have* to come to this place, CALL IN ADVANCE to get a quote, confirm your quoted price IN PERSON, THEN tell them that you purchased their $5 for $10 Yelp deal. I made the mistake of leading with "I have a Yelp deal for $10". They then jacked up the price by $10. The price on their site for a iPhone 5c screen repair is $89. I was told that since my LCD is broken too, the price is $110. Someone else who walked in with an iPad Air was quoted a price of $110 for a screen repair but when they diagnosed it as an LCD problem, they said that it would cost $120 instead. How could the incremental price of an iPhone screen be $20 when the incremental price for an iPad Air be just $10? They also charge you a $4 convenience fee for paying with card, so it's effectively cash only. Terrible service, hidden add-on charges and utter lack of integrity. read more

First let me start by saying these guys do a fast job at a reasonable price and give good, patient customer service. However I can't give them a 5-star review and here's why I brought in a badly shattered, but still operational iphone 5. Soon I learned that I also needed a new LCD. Naturally this is a more expensive repair, but I was happy to have it done if it meant having my phone back. Right away, their tech went to work. 15 minutes later, the phone had a new screen, but wouldn't boot up. Joe sat me down and gave me an overlong explanation to this effect. Finally he told me I had two options. 1) For $125 I could take the non-working phone with a new screen to the Apple Store for further repairs and hope they don't notice it had been worked on, or 2) They would put my old screen back on and let me walk out free of charge. Reasonable, but I hated to waste a trip to midtown. I was hestitant to argue, they being the experts. But the tech with headphones on had been messing around inside my phone. Isn't it just possble he accidentally knocked something loose? I could not accept that it simply either worked or did not work. Joe didn't see it this way. I asked and was shown my phone stuck at the startup screen with some tiny error messages at the top. What does the error say is wrong with the phone?, I asked. He tried to convince me that the was probably something undiagnosably wrong with it, despite my insistance that it had booted fine until they worked on it. Fortunately I had a tablet with me and so I googled the error ID code. 30 seconds later I came up with a reasonable-looking site that said this error was usually caused by a faulty or disconnected camera. Joe was skeptical. Humor me, I said. You have to open the phone anyway to put the old screen back on. See if the camera is either disconnected or broken. Three minutes later the tech had opened the phone and noticed that the front-facing camera was indeed water-damaged. For an additional $15 it was replaced and I had a like-new phone. To be honest, I take no pleasure in embarrassing these guys. They are honest, quick, and fair. But there are two major flaws I see: 1) an inattentive tech, and 2) obvious discomfort solving any problem apart from broken glass and similar issues. On top of that, a lot of time was wasted trying to convince them to even run a google search. If you have a broken glass, Joe and Avi are great. More complex problems may be better handled elsewhere. read more

Ok so I brought my iPad mini in to replace the battery. They told me an hour and a half. In 30 mins they were done. However before I left I decided to clean it. Two things happened. It restarted 2 by itself ( no it wasn't doing that before) and there was a discoloration on the edge of the screen. I am traveling from the Bronx and can't travel back and forth. They damaged my screen. They did not want to replace the screen until I brought it back to fix the battery. I said no. You will replace the screen. I am taking my business else where. So upset I just didn't go to apple. The battery that they tried to sent me of with was a faulty battery. I understand that their battery not working was not their fault but messing up my perfectly good apple screen was. But it makes u question where they get their replacement parts from. read more

Literally 15minutes later my iPhone was good as new. When it came time to pay, the quote was higher then the man told me on the phone. A red flag temporarily went up but was swatted down and he graciously honored the quote I was told. Went to this place for an iPhone screen repair given the relatively low-price and great Yelp reviews. The kid who did the repair was friendly, but messed it up, and had to do a system restore, which took about an hour altogether. I think he charged me slightly less than usual rates, but it was still an annoying experience. He also waived the $5.00 additional fee for using a credit card (Yes, there is an additional $5.00 credit card charge that is not disclosed until time of payment). So here's the crappiest part.....I can't be 100% sure, but my iPhone completely gave out within weeks after going for this repair. Though fully charged, it powers off as soon as it is unplugged. The Apple Store informed me that the issue was not attributable to the battery, and suggested that it may have been related to work done by a third-party service (read: this place) Now, in full disclosure, I went to Laptop MD after this place after I foolishly cracked my screen again; however, I've used Laptop MD a couple of times before, and not had an issue. I fully acknowledge that the link between my repair at this establishment and the death of my iPhone is pure conjuncture, but the unexpected problems I encountered when I went here provide some evidence of culpability. A few other minor points....the female employee who was lounging around the place while I waited for my repair (seemingly the kid repairer's mother) was unfriendly. Further, the place is tough to locate given the scaffolding outside (obviously a temporary issue), and its small interior is messier than a janitor's closet. read more

I came here a few weeks ago to repair my iPhone 6 screen. They had really good customer service and fixed my screen right away, it was probably less than a 15 minute wait. I paid around 170 after tax. I was really happy with my new screen, almost looked brand new until a few days later the screen started to loosen up and felt like it was about to come off. I came back with my receipt and they added glue to hold the screen down. Now less than two weeks later my screen is coming off again. Although their service was quick I am not sure they've actually fixed my screen since it keeps coming off. I would hate to go back every other week to have it redone. Not very convenient at all. I would give 4 stars for customer service but since they didn't really perform the service I actually paid for I have to give less. read more

Do not go to this crook, he will switch your parts for bootleg generic parts and then lie to your face about it. My camera worked fine when i brought my galaxy phone to him never worked again after going back to him 3 times, I just left it alone before I had an altercation. He also used some adhesive on the back glass that ruined the back of my phone. Not to mention my girlfriends iPhone 7plus screen that he replaced with the more expensive "glass protector" was cracked within 2 weeks, not from falling but in her purse with no heavy objects... all around looser. I tried this merchant based on reviews from my fellow Yelpers and I'm glad I did. The service was fast and professional. I was done in about 15 minutes! Now, that did cost me more money. I could have replaced the cracked screen on my Samsung Galaxy S4 (love my phone!) for $89.99 with an hour and a half wait. I opted to pay $129 to replace the entire frame, but I was done in about 15 minutes! The extra money was worth saving time. I got a tempered glass screen saver and replaced my cracked screen, the frame, and the charger port for about $170 - much less than the cost of buying a new phone. The service also came with a three month warranty. I love the tempered glass screen saver ($20). It doesn't feel like glass, but it's sturdier than it appars. If my phone falls again, that's-most likely-the only part that will crack and need to be replaced. Don't suffer with a cracked or shattered screen, the "Phone Doctor" is in! read more
