I hesitated about writing this view initially despite the excellent service because I wanted to see how long my gel lasted.... Manilash passed the test! It's been a little over three weeks and my nails are polished with just a few chips which is totally normal. Service was great otherwise. I went to Martin and he worked wonders on my nails. I say worked wonders because if you saw what my nails looked like when I walked in compared to after - you would probably say he work worked wonders too. They offer paraffin and don't charge extra for it like other salons in the area. Additionally it is extremely clean and the people who work there are super nice. Everyone speaks English too, so you don't have to worry about people making fun of you or your nails in a different language which sounds terrible but by the same token is a plus. If you need a new nail salon definitely check this place out! It's 100% my new go-to salon in Monmouth County! Going back today and couldn't be more excited :) read more

This is a more modern salon where you are able to find newer designs like chrome nails. Mindy did a great job at shaping my nails exactly how I wanted them. There selection of chrome colors is larger than most salons in the area. They also have a large selection of gel colors. Only reason I gave it four stars is because the pricing is higher than most salons. read more

Terrible nail salon. Tommy completely rushed, never even touched my cuticles, and the nail polish is now where near my nail bed- they look like they've been grown out for a week already. Also the nails are uneven and super thick (it's a gel). Worst manicure I had. Maybe if you don't have tommy you'll be OK but wow. Complete waste of time and money. Love this place so much! As a transplant from California, I'm so happy to have found my feel good nail shop. My husband and I have been getting mani/pedis from Manilash for about a year now & I have no complaints. I always call ahead to see if we can be accommodated (duh) and we're treated like family in the salon. Mindy the eyebrow expert! I will go where ever she does brows I've been going to her for a couple of years now. She will define and shape your brow, on top of that she has growing hands. After being butchered by so many nail techs with hot wax, leaving my eyebrows extremely thin she brought them back to life. I visit her every 3/4 weeks. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because $15 for brows is a little pricey (glad I only go once a month) and I wish there were designated brow appointments, instead of being fit in while she's working on nail clients. read more

We were visiting from Baltimore and decided to go here after looking at reviews on yelp. The first impression when you walk in is that it's a beautiful, clean and well appointed place. The service, however, leaves much to be desired. I walked in with my mother and my boyfriend and all the nail experts were busy with other clients. Upon walking in, one of the nail experts asked what we wanted while she was doing someone else's nail. I replied "to get our nails done". We sat there for 15 minutes without anyone else talking to us to tell us how long it would be be while the same employee sat with her client talking about her life. After 15 min, I got up and asked how long it would be and she said 10 min. It would have been nice to know that from the beginning. Instead we felt ignored as if we were being an inconvenience. No thanks. Nail quality I don't know about. Customer service 1 star. Do yourself a favor and drive to nearby "Beyond Salon & Nails". We all got spa Mani Pedis and it was amazing. We waited 45 minutes but didn't mind. Service and nails were amazing. read more

When I first arrived at ManiLash, I was greeted by two super sweet women who helped me find the exact shade I was looking for. Once we picked my color, I was introduced to Mindy who is AMAZING! I needed an acrylic fill and had a specific shape and length in mind. She hit the nail on the head, my nails look exactly how I had hoped they would! Not only do they look great but she helped fix some issues from my previous fill from a different salon which means my nails are healthier now too. After going to high end nail salons in Manhattan for over a year, I was definitely hesitant to try a salon closer to home but now I know I'm safe in Mindy's hands. Went here not even a week ago. Tech Mindy T was very rude, unprofessional, loud. On top of that I had to tell her to sterilize a tool before using it on my nails. As a "license tech" of the state of New Jersey. I shouldn't have to worry if I'm going to get infection from a tool use there. Women and or men come to be pampered and relaxed. Not to be disrespected or have to watch and make sure the tools are clean. BEWARE OF THE RUDE EMPLOYEES ESPECIALLY MINDY T. This by far gotta be the WORST nail salon I've ever been too! The staff is super rude, demeaning, and arrogant! They didn't have any color I was looking for and honestly no one even gave a damn to even TRY to look for something similar. I got cold shoulder from the technician; she's super snappy and treated me like sh*%!! Not to mention no one once mentioned their outrageous charges on a different coat (matte $6) and picking chrome nails (I got 2 at $7 each and it's just putting powder on paint WHAT?!). So ya and the best part the $80 outrageous basic pedi and gel mani didn't even last 80minutes!! When tried to reach out to the management they offered to give $30 credit towards the awful borderline racially profiled rude experience and that's the best they could do HA! Sorry if I was very particular on what I wanted (which btw I never got) and was PAYING FOR IT AND THAT TOO 2x than other narnal friendly salons out there!!!!! Posting few pictures to show the horrific job that old technician did! My nails are already chipped, she missed half of my pinky finger. My pedicure is a joke as well! Such a horrible place if you want to have a better experience and save money I would recommend save your money and time and go some place else!!!!!!!! Oh did I mention that one of the staff personal reached out and asked me to "not bash them because it's unfair to the business"? And oh "I think I am better than others"? WHAT? Who does that? Your staff is uber rude and arrogant and I get the heat for calling you out on that? I normally tend to only post reviews when I see unfair customer service treatment everything else is just a 4-5star quick rating. Perhaps you should try to go to those lower rating reviews of mine and try to get an awful treatment to have a taste of your own medicine. Having lost my usual salon to a disastrous fire, I consulted Yelp for a replacement. As Manilash had such great reviews and is less than ten minutes from my home, I made an appointment for a gel fill earlier today. My service gal was Mindy, a bubbly, gregarious and very friendly young woman. She did my terribly neglected nails just as I wanted them and they now look beautiful again. I will definitely go back. I'd also like to commend Martin with whom I spoke on the phone before I made my appointment later in the day. He was very pleasant and answered all my questions courteously and without rushing me at all. The one fly in the ointment (and the reason for only four stars) was, of all people, the receptionist! She was aloof, disinterested and the antithesis of a welcoming representative of the business. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. But I have to repeat, the nail service was exceptional and the décor and the cleanliness of the salon were above reproach. Wonderful! read more

I just want to say this is the BEST nail salon I have EVER been to. Coming from Miami, I can say the work Mindy and Martin produce is far better than anything I have ever seen or had done before. They did an amazing job on my nails on short notice and really came in clutch with all of my crazy requests. The techs at this place are real, fun, and keep it light, not snobby at all! Could not be more pleased! The service was great, the nail technician (Martin) was friendly and attentive, the salon atmosphere was very welcoming and it was noticeably clean! Back to the service- it was much more than what I expected. Martin took his time and made sure the pedicure was done right and did not rush considering my appointment was on a Sunday shortly before the salon closed(though it was a little bit pricier than other pedis at other salons~well worth it!).
