Don't let the small location fool you... The food is excellent and the owner/employees are wonderful! Recently stopped and got a taco salad bowl, burrito and Jarrito's soda... everything was delicious! I chose beef for my taco salad and it had avocado on top as well as rice, lettuce, etc. The sauces are amazing too! Also bought a burrito, which is a generous size and super tasty. Love the Jarrito's soda too! It's well worth the price. You can sit at one of the picnic tables outside that have umbrellas for shade or take it to-go. Wow! ... and wow, again! Tastes fresh and nothing like Americanized fast food tacos. This is real food. The corn tortillas are to die for. The meats are like they came right of the grill and not like they sat in some warming bin for the last four hours. After two visits I have already part of Manito's army and a verified Manito's taco junkie. When you get there you are going to try the pulled pork taco, it is divine. Love the hot sauce and the lime is a welcome touch. The refried beans are the best I have had. This is top shelf stuff and worth every penny. read more

If you find yourself driving by this unsuspecting taco truck sitting in an old car wash parking lot, don't be alarmed by its surroundings and just stop in! On a recent trip to Lockport/Newfane, our curiosity got the best of us and thank goodness it did because these tacos were some of the best I've had. I went with shrimp and asada, the shrimp was plump and flavorful and I wish I had loaded up on more. Asada was also pretty solid. I'm not normally a corn tortilla fan but theirs were actually to my liking, not bursting at the seams like other places - they were soft and flexible. They offer "mild" and hot sauce, both of which were delicious but if you're not one for heat, mild is not mild. Free Mexican hot chocolate is provided and after complimenting the owner, he gave us a free flan too. The staff was extremely friendly. Prices are on point too - it's well worth the stop and I'll be back next time I head back out that way. read more

First off, the service was great. Very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. We ate at one of the picnic tables they have. It was a beautiful day and perfect for this fun family dinner. I ordered a carne asada taco, an al pastor taco, and the choriqueso (cheese sauce with chorizo). The tacos were both perfect. Tender, hot, and flavorful, and good tortillas. The cheese sauce was really good, too, and the two salsas were excellent. Everything tasted really really fresh. My wife (vegetarian) ordered the veggie burrito (her standard Mexican order). She is usually not blown away by veggie burritos, but she absolutely loved this one. My daughter ordered the carne asada taco salad. Same results. Loved it! I spent 20 years living on the Texas/Mexico border and am always disappointed with tacos locally. Manitos tacos are awesome and authentic! I have tried just about every version of their tacos and love all of them! My favorite is probably the Cecina Enchilada taco and the tacos Al Pastor. The hot and mild sauces are tremendous. I wish they would bottle those to sell. This is a must try if you are in the area! read more
