Oh sugar is a nice ice cream shop serving Perry's as well as rolled ice cream (the only place around I know that has it) in a more rural area. There are also shakes , sundaes and more on the menu. They have a little seating inside as well as outdoor seating with calming coy pond & mini waterfall. The staff has always been fast & friendly when I've visited. On this visit I ordered the bee sting (a hot honey ice cream I haven't seen at other Perry's vendors) and blueberry cheesecake. Their serving sizes are generous and they come with the most sturdy plastic spoons; great for hard ice cream... AND the spoons give you a little surprise, which I won't spoil because it really excited me! Haha You'll just have to visit to see what it is for yourself! read more

They have great ice cream I great servings that are so massive. There spilled I cream is not very good but the other sundaes and other flavors I have tried have been amazing. The service is so good they make you ice cream fast. The ambiance is good but watch out for starpoint concert nights because then there is a bunch of starpoint kids which is so much fun. We stopped for a treat last Saturday evening as we were driving by. My wife and I split the small peanut butter cup Sunday with whipped cream and a cherry. The selection of ice cream here is amazing! They have Perry's and also soft serve. The service is excellent. Any time we've ever been, the servers are very friendly and patient. The small ice cream comes in a pint container. The medium comes in a quart container. I was not brave enough to try the large, but suspect it may just come in a 5 gallon bucket! Lol Regular Perry's ice cream, but SO many flavor choices, as well as creative sundaes, milkshakes, and more. They only had outdoor window service when I visited, but it looks like a nice place. The folks working were very sweet and patient when it took me a full 5 minutes to find a flavor combo (because people who are able to choose 1 out of all of those are just weird). Cute little ice cream shop on Lockport Road! Their colored overlarge Adirondack chair always catches my eye when I drive by, so when visiting friends nearby we took the opportunity to stop by! The good thing is the ice cream was good and the place was cute, the bad news is my husband thinks we need to stop there everytime we drive by now... wait did I say that was a bad thing? They have a huge selection of ice cream particularly their Perry's hard ice cream flavors, wow! so many! They also appeared to have a couple Hershey's hard ice cream flavors too. They also had a large variety of soft ice cream flavors and a variety of options to make with both, like floats, sundaes and flurry type concoctions. Our friends recommended the waffle cone. My husband got the butterscotch soft serve in a waffle cone. Note, their soft serve only comes in one size, it was a good amount, but no baby options here. It was really good, in fact although my sundae was good, I was disappointed I didn't pick quite as well as him on this visit. I got a Reese's peanut butter sundae. It was good, just not quite as good after trying his. Be aware that they give very large portions. 2 Scoops for example is a huge amount of hard ice cream. That does make the one size soft serve option interesting in my opinion. Overall the place is cute. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options. They have chalk for the kids (and adults) to play with, and an outdoor pond with fish for both kids and adults to enjoy! Hubby and I passed Oh Sugar on Mother's Day and turned around to check it out! It's a cute ice cream shop you can drive up to and order or go inside when the Pause order is lifted. The menu is huge. I ordered a small snickerdoodle sundae and added hot fudge to it. I would say there was 1 (homemade) snickerdoodle cookie in the sundae, leaving a lot of plain jane vanilla soft serve. I would recommend adding some cinnamon or nutmeg to the sundae to help carry the snickerdoodle taste throughout the sundae. Hubby ordered a large peanut butter cup sundae with spanish peanuts added. It was good. We will def be back to try some cupcakes (when they have them) and some other desserts they offer. read more

We made our first visit and it won't be our last! The staff was kind and welcoming. Our desserts were delicious and there was so much to choose from including 30 flavors of custard!!!! We ordered three desserts and it was $11! It's cute on the inside and adorable on the outside with a few seats to choose from. There is a sign at Oh Sugar that says, "We scoop like your Aunt and Uncle, NOT mom and dad!" They are not kidding! The ice cream cones are HUGE. If you order 2 scoops, beware, it's like a 1/2 gal of ice cream. Everyone that works there is so nice. Great bang for the buck! read more

Very disappointed in our order. We ordered 3 soft serve ice creams and 1 hard. When asked what size we wanted we asked for 1 large soft serve, 2 medium soft serves, and a small hard ice cream. If they only offered one size soft serve they shouldn't have asked in the first place. The soft serve that was supposed to be a large was the smallest out of all them and the small hard ice cream was the largest. Biggest waste of $15, never will go back there again. Tried calling about 10 minutes after I left to talk to someone about my complaints and no one answers even though they're all standing around. At least my hard earned money went towards color changing spoons--what a joke. Below shows their medium soft serve (the one with rainbow sprinkles) versus their large soft serve (plain).
