Stopped in for dinner and it was busy but we were seated right away. Ordered the best chori queso around for an appitizer. They also have the best rice and beans and al pastor tacos! Always quick and friendly service! We have never had a bad experience here and the food is amazing!

Consistently good. Can't go wrong! Great food, service was wonderful with large chunks of inattentiveness, portion sizes were large. Fair pricing. Great music (streaming on 'merengue') Only improvement would be the parking. Not much to choose from, especially on the weekend. And more frequent check-ins from the waitress.

Great food... great service... this was my first time trying the flights here & they were delicious the strawberry was my favorite

Had lunch here with a couple of friends. I would say my food was OK. The shredded chicken in my burrito was plentiful but a bit dry. I thought the side of lettuce, salsa, and sour cream was a bit strange. Not sure why it was there. I enjoyed the decor. Our server was excellent. Bonus points for him. The bathroom was very clean. I'd go back to check out their tacos and also my normal go to Mexican dish, the fajitas. 2025-27

The only Mexican restaurant I've been to here and likely will remain the only restaurant I'll go to. It's that good. If it's your first time here, you will probably be a little confused since the outside looks just like a regular house. But once you walk in the door, it'll feel like you're you just stepped into Mexico. The interior is vibrant and authentic. Basically like a hole in the wall. They give you a free basket of tortilla chips with some of the best salsa I've ever had. And they even have a salsa bar in the back if you want to try other salsas they have and some other stuff. Since I wasn't sure what to get, I had asked for recommendations. I was recommended the Enchiladas, which was so good that I came back again just for them and even took another friend. I also tried two of their tacos, a chicken taco and one that caught my curiosity: cactus. Both of which are great but not my favorite. The other recommendation I asked to be a surprise, and I'll say, I was very surprised. It was something I've never seen before, Molcajete. It came out in a hot and heavy mortar, with chicken, beef, jalapeños, and a bunch of other stuff. The Molcajete and the Enchiladas both came with a side of rice and beans, which were amazing. The Molcajete was great, just what shocked me was that it was $30+. I was recommended the most expensive item on the menu. While my wallet did regret that decision, my stomach did not. To finish our meal, we ended with their Tres Leches Cake. I absolutely love Tres Leches Cake, so this is a must when I saw it on the menu, and it did not disappoint! However I just wish they did not use the rainbow sprinkles, which were hard and ruined the texture.

Best Mexican in the area! I'm always impressed when I go there not only because the food is good but the food comes out so quick and the staff are all so friendly. They really have a good thing going and it's always packed for that reason! This time I had the burrito funndido and it's now my new favorite! The chorizo queso on top really takes it over the top. The portions are massive and I took more than half of it home.

Does anyone know if this restaurant caters?

Yes they do! We had them cater a family party a few years ago and it was great! Not sure how big of a party is their limit though

    How clean is this restaurant?

It's as clean as any Olive Garden or most restaurants in the Buffalo area. The food was very good and authentic, with good portions, service was friendly and efficient. Not much of a place to look at but you can't argue about their food and value.…

Health score isn't great. How often do they get re-tested?

Ask your doctor any nutritionist or anyone who knows about health.

    When will the patio open?

    No

Initial Impressions were a good atmosphere and very clean dining area. We ordered the kids cheese pizza , some steak& chicken fajitas and birra quesadillas ( opted for the extra beans and rice). While my wife's beans and rice were hot, the ones I was served were barely room temperature. The steak was over cooked and tough. But overall it wasn't bad, we've had bette (and worse). The kids pizza, well there's a reason why you don't order pizza in a Mexican restaurant... barely cheesed and over sauce (advise passing on that menu option) The birra quesadillas were pretty decent, good flavor, the bottoms were a little soggy but with birra you expect it . Overall, it was a good amp of food for the money but I don't think a return visit is going to be planned.

The menu is extensive and the wait staff was simply ideal. We enjoyed ourselves having a good meal. Whether I was relaxed, I'm not sure :). The early afternoon music selection was great, fun and energetic. Perhaps I ate my food too quickly, but I couldn't help myself. The La Bandera was three enchiladas, one cheese, one ground beef and one shredded chicken, topped with three different sauces. It was good. Maybe if there was more green sauce, it would be even better. The small side of salad with a good amount of avocado was refreshing. From the beginning to the end of our stay, I felt welcomed and invited. I almost took a photo of myself wearing one of the beautiful sombreros placed around the dining room. Our waiter got us set up in a reasonable amount of time at a table that was a "little tacky" and by tacky I mean sticky (I did see someone wiping tables post meals). We ordered a couple margaritas because why not enjoy a frosty marg with tacos and the frozen lime one .... Definitely delivered on the booze. The chips and salsa were a big hit with the little yelper, and the salsa was a little runny for my Liking but it was definitely good. We started off with some nachos and this kinda set the tone for the rest of the meal. The queso on this dish was literally like a runny wet texture, most queso tends to be a lot thicker than this and the chicken was a touch bland, those chips had no chance with this queso, they all got a bit soggy in no time. We also had a heavy quantity of tacos ordered. 3 beef and 6 chicken. The beef tacos were pretty bland, as were the chicken tacos (dripping with water). But for $1 tacos I guess it wasn't too bad. I'm just guessing that the chicken is boiled because the amount of moisture was pretty decent. The beans carried the runny theme as well, with the rice being the most non soggy item we came across. Overall though it's $1 tacos, so we can't set the bar too high with them.

I came here with some family who were visiting from out of town. We wanted somewhere that everyone could eat at since we have omnis, GFs, and vegans. Love that there were options for everyone. However, my partner and I ordered the guacamole azteca which came out with cheese clearly on it and mixed in. I asked the server immediately if it was cheese and he said no, they would never put cheese in it. I had my doubts but thought perhaps it could be finely minced garlic. So we started eating. About halfway through we hit a pocket of unmixed cheese and I stopped eating. Asked the server a second time who denied it was cheese. He claims he also asked in the kitchen and they assured him it wasn't cheese. Well, it was- I got sick that night. My vegan dinner was small- no rice or beans. Just two sad little enchiladas with very little filling. There was a pile of iceburg lettuce next to them with a small scoop of pico. But all in all, the meal is NOT worth the price. The vegan options were the same price or more than the meat options, but came out with half the food on the plate. I felt this meal deserved only 1 star, but the fact that there were vegan options on the menu bumped it up to 2 stars. I will not be going back, I would much rather eat elsewhere in a more quiet atmosphere where the servers and kitchen staff KNOW what they put dairy in.

I'm usually not a frozen marg girl, but when at Margaritas...plus on one flavor you always get a mini rubber duck and they are adorable and you can take it home with you. I like adding it to my collection in my Jeep. The standout marg was the watermelon. It wasn't too sweet. Prickly pear and dragon fruit were a little too sweet for me. Because I was hungry, but not hungry enough, I went with two side orders. I got a tostada and a taco. They were fine. My husband got a burrito and finished his meal.
