They have lots of Gators stuff (BOO!) but their FSU selection is decent but a little lacking (just like the Noles on-field performance the past couple years) so it would be cool to see them add some more Noles stuff. They also have a selection of items for other teams like Bama, UGA, UCF, USF, etc. as well as some other pro teams. This store isn't huge but they pack a lot into their space and it's near Bono's if you want to stop for lunch or dinner. I'll come back again when I'm in town and want to get some Jags or Noles stuff.

Getting old is not for wimps lol;). New things popping up all the time! I decided to stop in to 1st Place Sports to check out their walking shoes. Kelly escorted me upstairs where they had a huge selection. I told her I was recommended to try Hoka's by several friends. First, I stepped on a machine to scan my feet to see what would work best for me. She suggested the Hoka Clifton 10 with inserts. I tried on a few different styles and selected my favorite (what felt best when walking). I purchased two pair of Hoka's and inserts that I can switch between the two pair of shoes. I walked out in my new shoes and by the next morning my feet pain was gone! After dealing with it for nearly three weeks I was so relieved! And grateful to Kelly for her help and excellent customer service! I'll be back for another pair soon when new colors are released. Since now I'm starting over with my walking shoe collection.

I came in wanting a walking shoe and was told the advantages of using a running shoe as a walker, better breathing. control. She brought me 3 pair of shoes to try on. 2 brands were represented. The first didn't need an insole. She listened to my questions about all 3 pair. Now time will tell if I made the right choice I bought a pair of Hoka with a medium insert. The shoe section we clean and orderly. My wife talked with the shoe guy (sorry did not get his name) but he asked her about what kind of support she needed. He made a few suggestions and offered to get her a pair of each to try on. While she was testing the shoes out he gave her some space to just allow her to get a feel for herself. He then stopped back and said "once your down to your two favorites, put one on each foot and test them side-by-side that way". Great suggestion but again not pushing. She picked a pair and although they were expensive, we tend to keep shoes for a long time so $150 seems worth it! Like the way they helped us and would go back again!

They noted that the Baymeadows store had the items I was looking for and as I had 20 minutes, I could still make it there before they closed. Phew I am glad I did. This store does not carry Lululemon because there is one in this mall. However, the Baymeadows store can and does carry Lululemon. My visit lasted no more than a few minutes and it did not lead to any purchases. The staff were fantastic though.

Check out lines are never long, so that part of the shopping experience is always a breeze. If you need assistance, it's never difficult to find a friendly employee willing to help. As a matter of fact, whenever I'm in the store, generally more than one employees always approaches me asking if I need assistance. There are certain things we shop here for on a regular basis. I only use Speedo swimming goggles and they have a nice selection here. While not cheap, hubby loves Under Amour for working out... sometimes they even have nice sales on it. And while they don't have a very large selection of Reef flip flops, they do have a decent enough selection that hubby can usually find a pair he likes.
