Informative but ineffective. Went in to have three things removed. The doctor looked at them and could tell they were non-cancerous. He tried freezing them off. $155 later one spot is partially gone, and the other two are still there. They said I'd need to pay again for a second attempt. No thanks. Very relaxed and has found spots that I never would have thought were an issue. He removes them with skill and early enough not to have been a problem. I highly recommend him. Dr. Manilo is straight forward! What more can one ask for? He doesn't beat around the bush and let's you know what you really need and what's optional and/or not necessary at all. I've been a patient at Dr. Manlio's center for about two years now. Maybe a bit more. I used to be seen, mostly in Kissimmee, since I used to live there. Few months ago they opened an office on Lake Nona which is very convenient for me since I moved to Orlando about a year ago. I used to be seen by Nurse Practitioner, Lauren Hirsch, which I was VERY happy with. I was under her supervision while on the Accutane treatment for severe cyst acne and was very happy with the treatment and results. However, Hirsch moved to another state and upon returning to my dermatologist, I was scheduled with Nurse Practitioner, Tami Santo. This time, my main concern was to address acne scarring treatment. Tami Santo oriented me about options, such as Laser treatment and Micro-needling, which are not covered by medical insurance, since they are considered "esthetic treatment". I was a bit ambivalent and she encouraged me to do online research on prices, the treatments and what to expect. I did and decided that due to price and recovery time, micro-needling was it for me. Scheduled my appointment, was seen on time, oriented again on what to expect and treatment after-care. I was given the opportunity to address doubts and eventually received my first session of micro-needling. I experienced no pain, since they use a numbing cream which is VERY effective. The results were just what I expected, given the orientation. A week later I'm SUPER happy with my results. I'm eager to go again and do my second treatment. Offer that I was given was either $200.00 for one session or $500.00 for three sessions. Micro-needling experts always suggest at least three sessions in order to see noticeable results, but I was able to see results after the first session. Down time is about three days and you look like you were under the sun for too many hours and severely sunburned. After the second day you can go back to work, but you may want to put on some sunblock and makeup, which is ok and suggested by skin experts. After the third or fourth day you are back to being yourself but with smoother skin, evener skin tone and smaller pores. I highly recommend this procedure and Nurse practitioner Tami Santo as your provider. Can't wait to get my second session! read more
