Moyock is a small town so when a new restaurant opens up, we have to give it a shot. The establishment is kind of small but cozy. The staff is friendly and welcoming. For appetizer we got bruschetta con gorgonzola. I never had Gorgonzola before so I wanted to try it. I was not a fan but they do have bruschetta with fresh mozzarella which I would prefer next time. They are known for their crab soup so I had to try it. It was delicious!! For my main dish I got Scampi Fra Diavolo. I personally thought it was good and ingredients seemed fresh however, it was alittle bland tasting for me. For dessert o got the chocolate chip cannoli. It was good too. Mannio's is definitely a date night spot. Alittle pricey but overall good experience. read more

Someone's Nonna is crying out there... Maybe it was the bland and somewhat very liquidy marinara or the very chewy penne... I understand Al dente but the pasta could have used an another minute or two... the chicken parmigiana... very tender chicken but don't get it with the marinara... although the marinara did cover up the over cooked crust, it wasn't burnt but a dark brown vs golden is a big difference... The serving size is way plentiful so come hungry... The bread was fresh served with. EVOO and balsamic vinegar for dipping... Service was spot on and wonderfully engaging to ensure your visit is going smoothly... Out to dinner on a Saturday night we were hopeful to be able to get a table, the bar had to do! It is a fairly small restaurant with about 10 seats at the bar. We really didn't mind sitting at the bar. The bartender , Tiffanie, took really good care of us the entire time we were there, we never needed to ask for anything. She knew exactly what we wanted. We knew we both had to have the she crab soup. We ordered that first. Take a look at my photos and you will see how much crab meat is in that small cup, absolutely delicious. Hubby decided on a dish called shrimp rose with fettuccine. Let me tell you the shrimp were huge, so tender and so meaty absolutely delicious. He did share with me. Sadly my photo is not that great of either one of our meals. There was sun coming right in on the bar area. I chose lasagna. It's a little bit of a longer wait because they bake it fresh to order, it is worth the wait. The portions were huge. We have lunch and dinner for the next day. They do have a little bit of a patio area in the back and the bartender told us it's a work in progress, they've only been open about three months, but there is a foosball table out there and a ping-pong table. She said there is a bar out there and a window where you can order food but right now no servers are out there and it is a work in progress . She said they had an acoustic player there a couple weekends ago which was really nice. We will definitely go back for one of those evenings because it's just so relaxing out there. We have been to Mannino's several times, and they never disappoint!!!! The food is amazing . The Crab Soup is a must! The Crabtini is also a must try! Honestly everything any of my family and friends have had, has been great! Our friends took us here for dinner, they ate pretty frequent diners. Had reservations at 7 on Saturday night. The restaurant was full, small and the atmosphere didn't match the menu, but the food and service did! Because our friends treated, they wanted appetizers first and ordered the fried calamari and Brochette with Gorgonzola cheese. Calamari was delicious with a light batter and the brochette was so good, it was almost like having a salad with toast, highly recommend. I ordered the Steve's Special, from the light menu, it wasn't what I expected but it was good, boneless chicken pieces with zucchini and penne in a chicken broth. I had them add a lot of Parmesan. I would only order if you're getting an appetizer before. Everyone enjoyed their meals and cocktails too. Server was excellent as well. I really didn't even want to give this 1 star. I will say this was hands down the worst dining experience I have ever had. I ordered a pasta that was supposed to be a wine, butter, lemon sauce. It had the consistency of chicken broth, but wi less flavor. My daughter-in-law ordered a the spicy ravioli, the red sauce was the consistency of water, the ravioli was undercooked, she took one bite and said it tasted horrible. When I asked for it to be taken off the bill, the manager was very rude. The rest of the food was just bland with no seasoning. Their "award winning she-crab soup" is so sweet, we could not even finish the cups we ordered. It's definitely overpriced for the quality and portions. read more

We visited Mannino's in Moyock for our 20th anniversary. The servers were kind and attentive, but unfortunately the management left much to be desired. This was our first time dining here. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrées. I chose the manicotti, but the sauce caused a bad reaction that made me ill. I explained the situation to our server and asked for another entrée. She returned with the same dish and explained that the manager would not comp it, and that I would need to pay for any replacement entrée. The manager never came out of the kitchen to address the issue or show concern. I have never experienced a restaurant where food makes you sick and you are still expected to pay for it, without even a word from management. While the servers did their best, the lack of customer care from management was disappointing. I do not plan to return and cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

My first visit to Mannino's Italian Restaurant was nothing short of a huge let down... I absolutely love Italian and we had family in town and wanted to try the new Mannino's with them. I have heard great things and had high hopes for an amazing experience. Once the food came out, it was not good at all. My wife's dish was cold in the middle of the chicken breast and in a way chewy(?) almost was like it was defrosted and heated up and then served to us, and this was with multiple dishes at the table. For the price per person I was definitely expecting more out from experience at the restaurant. However, when we got home the experience only got worse. We found PLASTIC in the sauce in the lasagna that we brought home. I'm all for giving restaurants a chance, but this was one that we will not be going back to after finding multiple pieces of plastic in the dishes. My recent visit to Mannino's Italian Restaurant was nothing short of a disaster, and I feel compelled to warn others about this disappointing experience. As someone who loves Italian cuisine, I was excited to try their menu, but the food was an absolute letdown. The pasta was overcooked, the sauce tasted like it came straight from a can, and the flavors were bland at best--far from the authentic Italian dishes I was hoping for.The most shocking part of the evening came when I found a piece of plastic in my gelato that my 2 year old was eating as well. Not only was this alarming and unsanitary, but the staff's response was utterly dismissive. They offered a half-hearted apology and a replacement dessert, which did little to make up for the unsettling discovery. To make matters worse, while we were trying to enjoy our meal, several staff members were openly drinking heavily at the bar neglecting their duties.
