Short rib pasta Chicken parm sliders

Sorella's is a MUST in Virginia Beach! Their homemade pasta is so good! The food, service, and ambience are all top notch. The short rib pasta was so good I came back two laters to eat it again. Great spot if you are in Virginia Beach!

I can't rave about this establishment enough. I have come at least seven times now and each time gets better and better. Along with the fresh and amazing food, the staff is always attentive and kind. They are knowledgeable of their menu items both regular and seasonal. I love the atmosphere. Parking is available on the side as well as valet.

Sorella's is an Italian eatery in Virginia Beach that has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. As you enter the space, there's artificial olive trees that look realistic with a contemporary rustic decor. It's not dim lighting but just enough to have a clear viewing experience My friends took me for my birthday that evening. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. He was both personable and prompt. The food was very savory. You could definitely tell the pastas were made in-house. We ordered a few dishes to share. The Peach & Porkbelly pizza had drizzle of honey with a peach jam. My only suggestion is that it needed to be more balanced. There wasn't enough peach jam and honey to elevate the savory taste. The mushroom pasta was also savory, but I'm not a big fan of dense pasta. Although I respect the freshly made noodles, it wasn't as delicious as the breaded chicken over the wide pasta. Our appetizer was Bucatini with shrimp and bacon. It was also savory and rich but I enjoyed it the most. Lastly, I liked the Spumoni dessert they made into my birthday cake but not anything special. I would give it a second chance the next time I'm in town. There's street and a parking garage. Plenty of places to dine at or shop on that strip.

We came during happy hour and were seated right away which was a great start to the experience! I had the Sorella pizza, focaccia bread, and whipped ricotta; everything was outstanding. The whipped ricotta was one of my favorite apps as it was light, had the perfect balance of sweetness , and complemented the rest of my meal. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

One of the best happy hour deals in Virginia Beach. You get $5 off pasta and pizza and the best shrimp and squid calamari ever! Such a great deal and they all taste so good.

If you are looking for a sign that a restaurant loves what they do- look no further than the bathroom at Sorellas! The pasta themed Wallpaper in the bathroom is pays tribute to the magic of what they do and a true testament to the craft. And believe me that dedication pays off! The in house pasta is incredible- so incredible that I'm pretty sure the lumanche is one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life! We hit up happy hour and tried a bunch of different dishes. The martini espresso, house made limoncello, and tiramisu were also outstanding! The staff went above and beyond to celebrate a few birthdays on the group. They even made a custom sign for us. Sorellas is a new favorite place and I'm already dreaming of my next visit!

Thank you fellow Yelpers! Decided to give this place a chance this evening after reviewing the reviews and menu. Walked over here from the hotel we were staying and enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited for my food to be ready. Was kind of disappointed to arrive back to the hotel and learn the bruschetta I ordered was made with meat, when clearly on my receipt in big bold red letters with exclamation marks noted "NO MEAT!!!" By this time it was after 10pm so I called and the manager on duty Vincent not only remembered my order he tried to remedy the situation and I appreciated him for that. My salad was ok...the pasta was delicious. Simple and tasty. Full of flavors. The restaurant was busy, bar area was full and there were plenty of patio outdoor seating. If I wasn't on auntie duty I would've loved to sit out on the patio and enjoy the evening. This place seemed perfect for a date night, wine night, girls night out. I love all things wine so this is definitely my kind of place. Can't wait to venture back down & bring my hubby! Happy Yelping!

This place is AH-mazing. Sorellas -and its sister restaurants (Atlantic on Pacific, Eurasia)- slay; fingerlickin' food and wonderful service. As a NYC gal who relocated... yum! (My pup is a service dog and does not come a pisha, lol)

Have been meaning to try this restaurant at the Oceanfront , after receiving our meals my mom and are so glad we did! Since we opted to sit outdoors I brought my pup so she can enjoy sitting outside on the patio with us as well. We ordered: The Ravioli - such a simple yet complex dish from the combination of protein and cheese flavors Lasagne - perfectly stacked to encompass the ideal balance of meat and noodle Bruschetta - Airy and fluffy bread with a delight crunch to the outer crust with toppings as delicately bitten together Calamari - Fried to perfection! Nothing less nothing more

Nice Italian restaurant located off Baltic Avenue near the oceanfront. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and service was moderate. The food was average. Prices were moderate. The ribeye and halibut lacked seasoning and flavor. The oyster rockefeller was good.

    Risotto

My favorite place on the oceanfront! It's conveniently right by my house. They have the best happy hour food and drinks. Everything is made fresh everything I've had is always amazing but the best thing there in my opinion is the bucatini Add shrimp. Amazing desserts as well

So glad we were able to have dinner at Sorella's. Our reservation was on a Friday night and it was definitely busy but service was still great. We ordered Oyster Sorellas and brussel sprouts. I was worried because I saw another review saying the brussel sprouts were bad but they were perfect. The whipped ricotta base was a perfect taste against the crispy chili Brussel Sprouts. The oysters were also really good. I was surprised how much I liked them in comparison to other restaurants in the area. I ordered chicken Parmesan and my fiancé ordered the veal Parmesan. Both came with spaghetti. Mine was a perfect size but we were shocked at the veal cut. It was such a large sized portion. Both were very delicious. I can see why the veal is a favorite. With all that food we didn't have enough space for dessert. We will have to come back to try them

We recently had dinner at Sorella's located near the Oceanfront in the heart of Virginia Beach. This place is fantastic! We really enjoyed ourselves here. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful with menu questions and suggestions. They have a terrific Happy Hour menu with something for every taste imaginable. We tried several things and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this wonderful eatery, especially around happy hour!

All 3 of us chose sweet for our wine tasting. Our server was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about the wine. You get to taste one wine on each category listed on your menu. After our tasting, we decided to sit down and order one of our longtime favorites: the short rib with mashed potatoes and vegetables. We hadn't had it in a few months because the last time was an epic fail, but we figured we'd give it another shot. As always, the pretzel bread and butter were a highlight -- that part never misses. The entrée, however, was another disappointment. The vegetables were noticeably undercooked -- still hard and crunchy -- and the dish came out with barely any sauce, even though I specifically asked for extra. For a short rib dish, you expect that rich, flavorful gravy to tie everything together... and it just wasn't there. A manager did come over after I pointed it out, and she genuinely tried to make it right, which I appreciated. We were offered another meal to take home, but at that point we were honestly just over it. To end on a positive note, I tried the Banoffee Pie for the first time (recommended by the manager), and it was actually really good -- rich, sweet, and worth trying. I also ordered their chocolate cake to go (which I usually love), but when I got home, it wasn't in the bag. I had to call for a refund, which they did handle -- but it just added to the overall frustration. At this point, it's become a pattern. When I first started coming here over a year ago, everything was consistently great. Lately, though, the dinner experience has been more miss than hit. We'll absolutely continue coming back for the wine tastings -- those are still top-tier. But for dinner? We're done trying.

We asked where the grapes came from and she explained that some came from Chile, some from California (I believe) and other places, and that she blends them here. (This would be expected with no attached vineyard.) The place was very clean, and the restrooms were easily accessible and spacious. The price of the flights was a mere $5 for six communion cup sized samples -- you choose 6 of I guess 12 - 15. Mulled wine is a welcome option on a winter day. The disappointing: While there is a good assortment of wines, and many were on the good side of okay, none stood out and said BUY A BOTTLE OF ME. The fruity sweet wines were VERY sweet, not really good for dessert wine or sipping. (Sorry.) But again, the reds especially were drinkable and pleasant.
