Manny and his crew are top notch! I had them replace my entire heating and air system, ducts and all. My system was more than 25 years old and it ran horrible. They were on time every morning ready to work. There was a couple of days that my wife and myself had to leave for work and I totally trusted Manny with the keys to my house. They set me up with a wireless thermostat that I can control my system while I am at work --Amazing! I got the system installed in March so I wasn't using it much cause the weather was great. When summer arrived I noticed my bedroom was a little hotter than the rest of the house. Three months later I called Manny and he showed back up the next day to check it out. He ended up cutting me in an additional vent in my bedroom directly over my bed at no extra charge. Manny is honest and it means the world to him that his customers are happy. Unreliable, and cherry picks his jobs. Called him into a 1 year old home to figure out why 2 rooms in the house were not receiving any air. He and his apprentice entered the attic and first told me about the crappy job the original installer had done. But, he could fix it! Next, he tells me that a manual damper was accidently left closed during install which is why the 2 rooms aren't receiving air. Manny then told us he'd have to come back to fix the problem. Since I work in construction, and we were having a record breaking heat wave that week, I suggested a 7:00 am start before the attic got to hot to work. Woke up early that morning and that was the first of several no-shows. At first, we held out hope that the emergency in San Jose was more important than us, however it was soon apparent Manny had no intention of returning to this job. A week later we hired a professional contractor, had him review the existing equipment and said everything was fine and good quality. Next, he removed the vents in both rooms in question and cut away the plastic protecting the duct during construction. It took 5 minutes to fix the problem. Your loss Manny, it ended up being easy money and a good review, now it's no money and a bad review for you. Next time follow through with your promises and keep your customers happy. read more

Steer clear of S.C. Manny is reliable, honest and very knowledgeable. He repaired my air conditioning unit and had us up and running again, which we were very appreciative of as the temperatures the following week were above 100 every day. I cannot recommend Manny's heating & air enough. From beginning to end, I have had a smooth and positive experience. I called them out (based on Yelp) because my AC would not turn on. They were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable -- they informed me that my unit was completely shot (18+ years old) and took the time to explain WHY specifically in terms that I could understand (small words and pictures, thank God), as well as what my options were. He didn't push me to the most expensive option and he didn't pressure me to go with his company -- in fact, he encouraged me to continue getting quotes, which I did -- I got 2 other quotes. After considering the other quotes I realized that the other companies were nowhere near as knowledgeable as Manny and his team. Ultimately, his personal touch and easygoing personality (along with the company's competitive quote) made Manny's Heating & Air a slam dunk. I will say that if I have to spend the money, I'm glad I can support a business like Manny's Heating & Air that also does phenomenal work. Super guy. One of my tenants had an AC issue, called Manny on July 3rd. He came out that day and repaired it. Another property had an issue with cooling. He fixed the issue and found a ducting problem caused by the roofers, sending air into the attic. Now the unit works great. He installed a new high efficient system in my home, now we are comfortable upstairs, a first since we bought the house. He is my go to HVAC guy for all my properties.
