Many years ago, I ate at a potbelly on a regular basis. Then I moved and wasn't near any. About three years ago I had a chance to stop at one and while the food was good. The whole experience was not. This was a refreshing experience. They have been open for a short time and this was my first opportunity to stop in. The store was clean, employees were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. I walked in around lunchtime and was directed to the back of the store where the line started for ordering. They have a big menu board which I read first to determine what to get. The Cubano sounded good so I decided to give it a try. There were two choices for bread where they started the sandwich and put it in the oven. I was directed to the next station for all the toppings. I had a moment and chatted with the two employees that were there, and the one at the register asked what I got and if I would be having a drink or anything else. I told them I would take a meal which consisted of the sandwich, a drink and chips. On my sandwich came out they asked how I wanted it and directed me to assign that showed all the topics available. I opted for mustard and added hot peppers. I was very impressed with the taste of the sandwich and the hot peppers added a nice touch that you don't normally get on a Cuban. I will definitely be trying this one again in the future. They have several tables to dine at and there are accessible spaces out front. They have a drink station where you would get your own drink. If you're looking for a good hot sandwich, this is a great choice to have in this shopping area. read more

tried this sandwich spot last weekend with wife... and it was awesome, since we walked in service was on point & warm, we took a bit while looking at the store details and styled also the menu, don't be afraid to ask for help as us due to it was our first time there and everyone was really helpful, bread it's sooo good and soft we ordered BIG ONES and they really are big.. on the first station they ask you the type that you would like to get as protein then on second station you do the extras!! My wife ordered online, so we could take part in the BOGO promotion. The website was acting real strange, and never confirmed our order, but did charge our card. Once we arrived they confirmed the order had been received and that they were working on it. A few minutes after, they called her name and our order was ready. I ordered an Italian sandwich, with some customizations. After biting into my sandwich I realized none of the customizations had been applied, also the ticket on my sandwich bag didn't show them. My wife sandwich had all her customizations. I went up to the register and showed them the ticket and explained that none of the customizations were on the ticket, nor were they on the sub. The person at the register wrote down the items that were missing and had the sub remade. I really appreciate how easy it was to have the issue resolved. I think the sandwich was very good. All of the ingredients were fresh. I think the Italian is great, but adding a little mayo,lettuce, roasted peppers, raw onions, and Italian seasoning really adds to the sandwich. Our new favorite sandwich shop! I'm a little particular when it comes to sandwiches and don't like a lot of the big chains but this place is ittttttt. We went to one in Naples first and then found this one closer to home. Personal favorite rn (I've only had it twice but it's fantastic) is the chicken club on flatbread. The bacon & chicken have great flavor and I'm obsessed with the garlic aioli. Don't love that their chips are cooked in peanut oil but they have lots of other choices for sides. The mac & cheese is amazingly cheesy and creamy. The cookies are soft & chewy. I tried the dream bar the first time - it's chocolate, toffee and oats. The dessert of my dreams honestly. This visit I got a cold brew milk shake which is VERY coffee forward and very thick. I had to wait awhile to be able to drink it. Woohoo, so happy to have a little piece of New York City home here in Florida! Potbelly was always my go to spot for sandwiches, and it didn't disappoint. I went with my usual - chicken cheddar skinny sandwich, broccoli and cheddar soup (oops, not pictured LOL), and a farmhouse salad with chili soup (also not pictured). The sandwich was fresh, but a bit of a let down I asked for no bacon, and there was still bacon on it. :/ ... Luckily, I was able to pull it all out in one piece. That said, the flavor was spot on! I added avocado for extra protein. The avocado is fresh and sliced in-front of you! the cheddar soup is my fav because it's light and not too heavy. I was told the farmhouse salad was good, but it was super cold.. Assuming since it's a new location with new appliances the fridge was working overtime! LOL ... Still, the flavor was great. The chili was okay, definitely tasted like it came prepackaged. Overall, I'll definitely be back when the crowds slow down. What a disappointment. I ordered a prime rib steak sandwich. It was very minimal steak, one slice of cheese that I truly cannot confirm whether it actually made it on the sandwhich, and what should have been carmelized onions, but was made with regular onions. I asked the employee for some carmelized onions ,since the sandwich was made wrong, and he brought me a little cup with, no exaggeration, 3 pieces of onion in it. There were only 2 people working. One putting the meat and cheese on the bread, and then onto the oven. And the other guy was making the rest of the sandwich (toppings), ladeling soup, making milkshakes, and handling the register. He was doing his best, and was super friendly, but with that much on his plate, the sandwiches were cold by the time we sat down. On top of the disappointment that the sandwich was made wrong, not fixed properly, and served cold, it had no flavor. I ordered the sandwich as it comes, and you couldn't tell there was cheese, carmelized onions, or garlic aoili on it. It was a dry, unseasoned beef sandwich, and there was a bit of bone in the beef. I want to note that the employees were working hard, with a smile on their face, it was just too much for 2 people on a busy holiday. Management needs to do better. We got our order for pick up as it was BUSY at this new location in Posner Park. The adjacent Twistee Treat is going to make this a regular 1-2 stop in the future. We got a sampling of item. I had a chicken club with bacon, cheddar cheese and a myriad of toppings. It was hearty and well constructed. The bread really stood out. It didn't taste sugary or fake like some other sandwich shops. All the ingredients were very fresh. I also grabbed a Mac and Cheese for a side and a Banana Bread Pudding Milkshake. The Mac was a thinner white cheddar sauce and struck a nice balance as a side dish. The milkshake was a little less thick than I hoped for, but it paired well with everything else. I also got a sampling of my wife's Pork and Mac sandwich, which is exclusive to the app. This was a bit much for me but still delicious in limited quantities. She also let me try a piece of her oatmeal cookie (NO RAISINS) and it was fresh and chewy as desired! It's cool to see they offer so many varied drink and chip options as well. First visit to this Potbelly Sandwich Shop and it's tasty. Tonight we had a buy one get one coupon for Meatball subs ($9.39) so that is what we ordered. We also ordered a side of Vegetable Soup ($4.89) and we wanted a side of Chili-Mac ($6.59) but it only comes in a full bowl so that's what we ordered. The Meatball Subs were tasty, but meatballs aren't my favorite. I'll order something different next time but this was pretty good. Tasty sauce, great bread, not messy. The Garden Vegetable soup was quite flavorful and we will order this again. The Chili-Mac is really tasty. I don't know if I've ever had this anywhere else but that's a hood choice for a meal right there. The staff is pretty good and the dining room is quite small with only 2 tables fir 4, 2 tables fir 2, and the rest is bar seating against the front window wall and then a couple of high tops along the side interior wall. This is a recommend to dine atPotbelly. It's nice to have a different option to dine in the area other than the overload of McDonald's, Wendy's, Subways, Panera Breads that all seem to be mega-multiplied in the area. read more

Ate here for the first time today. Ordered their Italian toasted sandwich. After a 15 minute drive home the sandwich was still warm and not getting soggy, both a plus in my book. The sandwich was very flavorful and they did not skimp on the ingredients. I would rank this sandwich into my top 10 of all time, definitely encouraging me to return and try a different sandwich, albeit I could go for the same one since I know I liked it. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and efficient. I am giving this visit a 4+ star rating, which I have a feeling could easily be elevated to a 5 after another visit or two. Time will tell... BTW - this franchise needs to update the "About the Business" section as it references: (Ditch the sad desk lunch and treat yourself to a delicious sandwich near the University of Arkansas at Little Rock! Purchased two sandwiches from my first visit to this Potbelly location in Posner Park located in Davenport, Florida. One was the Wreck the other was an Italian. It was two weeks ago. Can't remember what meats were on them but the staff was very friendly. Took the sandwiches home to eat. This Potbelly is smaller than the one in Skokie, Illinois. They never throw away expired food . I would tell my manager all the time that the date say there two to three day pass the expiration dates and he didnt care they still "looked" good . Our lunch bunch tried this new addition to Posner Plaza last Thursday and it was delicious! It took us awhile to figure out the menu since we were newbies and had never been to a Potbelly Sandwich Shop before. Luckily we were early and had plenty of time to do that before the lunch rush hour. The prices were reasonable, the Chicken pot pie soup was amazing, and all of our warmed toasted roll sandwiches were yummy!
