The chicharron had a great flavor but the "skin" wasn't that crispy and had a chewy texture. The flan wasn't that sweet and had more of a vanilla extract flavor. I didn't care for it. Overall, the food was disappointing. However, the ambiance was very lively and featured live music. The waitress wasn't the greatest. I asked for water, but she gave us a bottle of water instead - which I found out later was $4! It wasn't a fancy brand of water either. I would have appreciated a heads up that there was a cost for water, especially since tap water is usually provided for free at most restaurants. Double check your bill. An automatic 20% tip was added to the receipt (it wasn't disclosed to us), and we were not part of a group.

When they went back to get them, they had no sauces and no vegetables/green beans. The chicken and gravy Father's Day special had no gravy, the steak chimichurri had no chimichurri. No warning from the kitchen and waitress was sent out to tell us. Solution to all of it was to give us a $3 discount on the individual items, the steak and the chicken and gravy. It's hard to explain how exceptionally slow, cold and overcooked the food was. Seemed like one server, one manager and one cook at the restaurant. Wouldn't have written the review if they were even somewhat understanding of how bad things were. The $3 off was incredibly token especially for Father's Day meal where we spent upwards of $500.
