This restaurant has been open for a week. It is warm and inviting with a lot of seating. We went during lunch and had the lunch shrimp on the barbie special. I chose rice as my side and a strawberry lemonade. They also serve bread to share. Everything was delicious. My only negative comments are that our waiter got our order wrong so we had to wait extra for food to be sent back and corrected. He also got our bill wrong and it took a long time to get it corrected. Good we are retired and have time.

The food was amazing, really really good, everything was perfect and the desserts amazing. The manager Alex came and make sure we leave the restaurant happy. The ambiance amazing and everything really clean. Will be back

The food is great! The atmosphere is nice. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I have eaten at this location a few times now and I am glad we finally have something good close by.

The blooming onion was unpalatable. Way too salty. The chicken and shrimp pasta was just ok. Pretty disappointed for $60.

Drinks were very slow. Food was very slow. All but one food item was cold. All steaks overcooked. Not even close. Salmon overcooked. Not even close No chimichurri for steak. No gravy for chicken and gravy. No green beans. No vegetables. We didn't know any of that ahead of time. When our food arrived, the sauces and sides didn't come out with the food. When they went back to get them, they had no sauces and no vegetables/green beans. The chicken and gravy Father's Day special had no gravy, the steak chimichurri had no chimichurri. No warning from the kitchen and waitress was sent out to tell us. Solution to all of it was to give us a $3 discount on the individual items, the steak and the chicken and gravy. It's hard to explain how exceptionally slow, cold and overcooked the food was. Seemed like one server, one manager and one cook at the restaurant. Wouldn't have written the review if they were even somewhat understanding of how bad things were. The $3 off was incredibly token especially for Father's Day meal where we spent upwards of $500. Just didn't want anyone else having the experience we did.

We ended up parking in the back and walking up to the front. However walking in I got a very modern vibe. Our server was very nice. My Spanish was not as strong as I'd like it to be but I tried lol. We got the Metamorphosis cocktails (tequila, vodka, berries, thyme syrup, passionfruit, butterfly ice) to start. These were really strong and very tasty. The butterfly ice I believe is like a butterfly pea flower ice ball which added some floral notes to it. We shared the Mofonguitos Trio (chicken, shrimp, steak, garlic white sauce, pink sauce, ell sauce on top) minus the steak as they didn't have it available, so it was 2 chicken and 1 shrimp. The chicken was pulled and the shrimp were jumbo. But that sauce blend? That made everything taste amazing. I wanted the Pulpo A La Brasa (grilled spanish octopus, malanga mash, pico de gallo, cherry tomatoes) but they were out of that day. I was sad but I ended up getting the same thing my babe got, the Salmon Caribeno (pan seared crispy skin Alaskan salmon, passion fruit sauce, pico de gallo) with a side of Malanga (root vegetable) mash. That mash tho! OMG that was so delicious! I think I'd rather eat that than potatoes for the rest of my life. They also covered it with cheese which didn't do anything to the flavor, but I won't reject cheese on anything. The salmon came out in two filets smothered in that passion fruit sauce, omg. Again, the sauce was everything. For his dessert he got the Duo Exotico cocktail (vodka, strawberry, tropical sweet Basil, oleo saccharum). This was too strong for me but A+ for the presentation, which was a bug shaped glass. This turned out to be a pretty expensive meal and if we come again we'll be mindful and not get lost in the sauce.

I was about 25 minutes away, when I took my family here, and they were wondering where we were going, but let me tell you, they were not disappointed by the food, service and the surround area. When we arrived, it seemed like a downtown area that was kind of chill because it was a Tuesday early evening. Barely any traffic around and tons of open parking, especially right in front to the restaurant. From the front I noticed some funny signs, a patio that was wide open for seating, yard games and a nice cozy dive bar vibe. When we went inside, we were immediately greeted at the counter by our server. It was not busy, there was actually only one customer sitting at the bar. The bar has about 6 seats and has TVs to watch and the restaurant if filled with tons of cool Classic Rock pictures, memorabilia and quotes. It was just the vibe we needed to just hang as a family. The server allowed us to pick any table we wanted. We ordered margaritas. They were delicious. We also has the RIBS, okra, mac & cheese, potato salad, some greens, cornbread, brisket, grilled cheese sandwich and fries. EVERYTHING, including the SERVICE was on point; we left well fed, satisfied and happy we found this place to eat tonight. To walk off the food , there is a park right across the street. At the park you will find food trucks for dessert, like ice cream on a hot day. There's also a walking trail and a play ground for the kiddos. There was an area where people were fishing off the doc. I saw an area where people also get married and a facility for our veterans. I included some pictures of what I saw along my way after I left the restaurant for people looking for things to do in the area with a family and/or friends. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop by this restaurant for some good eats, drinks and just a place to relax and have a good time. There's also service is great and the area is filled with things to do afterwards. Thank me later.

Lindsay gets a special shout-out for being kind, caring, and attentive! What a ray of sunshine! She was so excited when she arrived with my dessert (she made a brownie sundae just for me). It was everything you would want in a sweet treat. A perfectly warm brownie and cold vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream just hits, and they do it right! 2. The. Meats. Were. GREAT. I got the sampler sliders and my boyfriend got the sampler platter. The slider buns were perfect and even toasted a bit which added major bonus points for me. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Brisket was peppery and perfect. Ribs were also veryyyy tenderrrrrr. You can tell the food is made with love. All I could do was smile as I ate my lunch, knowing I have an amazing bbq spot so close to me. 3. The corn nuggets were SO GOOD and SO comforting. Crispy, sweet, and perfect. I eyed the menu before going, and these caught my eye immediately. They did not disappoint. I can't wait to have them again! 4. The sauces were FIRE. The sweet and the crimson were perfect to us. 5. Who doesn't like 80s Rock and Roll?! Its one of those places that make you feel at home. The location is perfect, as well. Lakefront is a great place to dily dally while you digest the deliciousness. We spotted waiters, waitresses, and bartenders tending to their tables or customers. We made eye contact with a few of them as they passed us while we awkwardly stood at the hostess desk waiting to be seen. It wasn't until 4:03 that the manager sauntered over and asked us, "Has anyone helped you yet?" Our response was, "No..." The manager didn't seem surprised or alarmed by this. At this point, two more parties had entered behind us, filling the waiting area. We were sitting at a booth and browsing the menu. Eventually, we saw our waitress. She was great, and we had no issues there; the food was not a hit for everyone at our table. The food service took a bit of time. My mom got a sirloin steak that she said was very tough. In addition, both of our house salads were, no joke, drowning in salad dressing. I personally had no issue with my chicken with Parmesan cheese. It was very tasty along with my sweet potato. Would I specifically come back to this location as my first choice? Probably not.
