Coffee alone 10/10. Can't beat Cuban vibes 24/7 service. Got the steak and eggs with Cuban toast. Lots of great Cuban options. Glad I came here from the airport luggage and all space to sit and felt safe.

Excellent Cuban food. We ordered two entrees. My friend ordered steak with frites, it comes with a large sub roll buttered and toasted. We shared grilled chicken, extra onions (absolutely delish), rice, sweet plaintains and a side of beans. Literally the most outstandingly delsih black beans of my life. Portions are generous. You will leave full! We also got perrier's and something else, that I can't remember. Place is clean, and service is good. They are open 24 hours people! Perfect for a late night bite for my last night in Miami!!!

We enjoyed this family owned restaurant in the heart of downtown. The hot Philly Chicken sandwich was meaty with flavorful onions and peppers. It was topped of with gooey cheese on a toasted bun. The Classic Cuban hit the spot. Filled with traditional meats and dressed perfectly with melted cheese. We also ordered a strip of Pork Rinds cut into delicious size bites. Friendly ladies managed the counter and helped recommend the popular dishes. We quenched our thirst with $3 beers, which was a selection of anything in the fridge. The seating was spacious. Mainly set up with tables for 4. I highly recommend this for a quick and seemingly affordable stop in Miami.

This place is awesome. Authentic vibe. Piping hot food. Loved the empenadas. Fries ok. Service was friendly. And prices were reasonable. Can't wait to go back.

This 24 hour Latin diner was excellent! I went with two friends, and each of our meals were perfect, which was especially appreciated since it was 3am in the heart of the city! I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a late night option with good vibes, quick service and great taste.

A good spot considering that its open 24/7, better than fast food joints. The milkshakes are yummy I love that they have papaya, I added banana to it. I also tried their cubano sandwich and breakfast sandwich.

Staff was friendly and patient while we looked over the menu at the counter. Food was fresh and delicious. We ordered 2 fried breaded chicken sandwiches, one grilled chicken sandwich, a chicken platter, a ham and cheese and a Cuban sandwich along with 6 canned sodas.

When in Miami, I want three kinds of food; Cuban, Cuban and more Cuban! Monolo and Rene was close to the hotel with good reviews. It's open 24 hours, and has a nice "local" feel to it. Service was immediate and very friendly. I had the slow roasted pork platter with black beans and rice for $16. The pork was tasty, maybe a touch on the dry side, but with plenty of garlic and sautéed onions. The beans and rice were solid, really good. I would certainly dine here again.

My friends landed in Miami pretty early and we were looking for a place that served drinks at like 9am. (We wanted to get the vacation started lol) This seemed to be the only place actually opened at that time in the area. Was giving deli vibes for me. We were able to order Cuban coffee, food and a bucket of beers. The staff was super friendly and let us chill for awhile and enjoy our drinks.

We had a late flight into Miami. Upon checking into our hotel a little past midnight, we were all hungry. Everything in downtown Miami was closed except for bars. Luckily this place was right behind where we spent the night. Manolo and Renee to the rescue!!!! We order 2 turkey sandwiches and 2 veggie sandwiches and an order of fries. In true Cuban fashion all sandwich come pressed and believe me the crunch and the butter spread on top makes the sandwich even more enjoyable. Our turkey was fresh cut slices with mayo, tomato and lettuce. The veggie was the same but with some Swiss cheese. Manolo and Renee are open 24 hours. There was a descent line when we arrived and people were walking in and out with phone orders. This pretty much sums up how amazing this place is.

Let's start with the mojito that came with such a large piece of sugar cane. It was so good! The waiter recommended my meal and it was delicious. The meat was tender and well seasoned. It also came with beans and rice. One meal was probably enough for two people! The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the outdoor mall near some neat shops. I loved the restaurant decor and everyone was so friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave great menu recommendations. Our waitress, Marcia from Venezuela, was friendly and enthusiastic about the menu and making sure our evening was fun. We started with mojitos and a Margo-no-rita. Sugar cane and mint leaves spill out of the top of the mojitos. My wife said she didn't miss the alcohol in the Rita. We moved on to ham croquettes and empanadas. The croquettes are flavor bombs with the lime salt sending them to the next level. The empanadas are good and full of meat filling. We had 4 different entrees and shared them. My smoked pork was a tad dry but the Smokey presentation offset the texture. We did have to move the smoker off the table as it got eye irritating. I would have also liked a plate to move everything to after the wow factor. (I should have asked for one). My wife's fried fish is served whole in chunky bites. Flavored well it was great on its own. She thought the chili oil sauce had an Asian flare which felt off theme. Our friends dishes were the flank steak (good size and flavor) which was cooked to his required doneness, and the Marabu Charcoal pork. Both dishes were delicious with their sauces. Marcia suggested a fiery sauce if we liked heat. We told her to bring it and it did not disappoint. Heat at all levels left a good lingering heat for minutes. It was good with everything. We skipped dessert as we were full and chose to window shop in the mall to walk off a full belly. Highly recommend, ask for Marcia and we will be back.

The fish tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with citrus and spice. The portions were small, but every dish that came to the table was well-presented so flavorful and packed with great flavor, (I don't know anything about Peru so i guess it tasted Peruvian..lol.) The atmosphere was lively, the dining area was beautifully designed and it's easy to see why they were recommended and popular. Unfortunately, there was one issue that significantly impacted my thoughts while sitting at the bar. I observed the bartender using the same pair of gloves to handle cash, operate the payment terminal, prepare drinks, and serve food without changing gloves. As someone who pays attention to food safety and sanitation, especially when I can see it ,this was concerning to watch and took away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable visit. Fortunately he only made me one drink and took my payment other than that he had no real impact on my eating or drinking experience I just thought it was not very clean in that he was used to doing this daily. The food itself deserves high marks, and I could see nothing that was going on in the kitchen so I can only guess they're doing everything correct but improper hygiene practices behind the bar are just as important as in the kitchen. I hope management addresses this because the restaurant was pretty cool and I was planning on visiting later that night. If not for that experience, I would have rated it at least four stars for the flavor and the service and taken away one star for the portion size but I understand it's Miami and you get an experience and a location not necessarily what you pay for. For now, I'm giving it 3 stars based on the excellent food but disappointing attention to sanitation.

This place has an energy that's hard to manufacture -- warm, lively, and genuinely fun. When Argentina is playing, it's a whole different level. The kind of atmosphere where you look up and realize hours have passed. Fair warning: it does get a little hot in there, but I'd sit there dripping sweat before I'd think about leaving early. That's how good it is. The service matches the energy -- attentive, genuine, and the kind that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It's the full package. Now the food. I don't even know the name of the chicken cheeks dish, but I think about it. Whatever it is, order it. The entraña was cooked perfectly -- if you know Argentine cuts, you know how much that matters, and they nailed it. And then the dulce de leche crepe. I don't throw around the word incredible lightly, but there's no other word for it. Just get it. Don't leave without ordering the sangria either. It rounds out the whole experience exactly the way it should. Fiorito's is the real deal -- the food, the service, the atmosphere. One of those places you just keep coming back to.

The empanadas de choclo (filled with corn and mozzarella) were rich and full of flavor. For the mains, the churrasco was tender and served with cilantro rice, which felt unique and is not something I come across often. The mushroom ravioli was coated in a truffle sauce that I also really enjoyed. Overall, everything was a 10 for me, and I would definitely come back. One thing that stood out was the absence of alfajores on the dessert menu. Given how authentically Argentine the place felt, alfajores would have been my go to choice if they had been available.

Wanting to try a Cubano in Miami while waiting to board a cruise ship at the nearby Port of Miami,…read moreI chose La Canita Bayside because it was close to the Port (not walkable though), having a well reviewed Cubano on its menu. The service was attentive, and the food was delicious, but for one sandwich entree and one appetizer for lunch, it ended up $64.80 out the door. A bit steep. Located on the second floor of the Bayside Marketplace outdoor mall, La Canita Bayside is one of three locations around the Miami area. The elevator that the signs were pointing to, was out of order so a bit difficult for cruisers with luggage. It opened at 11 am, and my brother and I were one of the first ones in. We had our choice of indoor seats. We asked for tap water, which was constantly kept refilled by Mayra, our perceptive server. We split two dishes: conch fritters ($17) and the Cuban experience ($33) - a combination of a Cuban sandwich, glazed deep fried pork belly, and fried yuka (a sandwich by itself was not offered). My brother loved the glazed pork belly (chicharrones), but prefers his Cuban sandwich more time on the sandwich press, to create that melded experience. I loved the 4 pieces of hush puppy looking fritters, served piping hot with a large number of conch pieces mixed in with the spicy batter. I liked the sandwich as well, but wouldn't rank it in the upper half on my list. There is a mandatory 20% service charge for all size parties, which was clearly indicated on the menu. It's an 8% sales tax. It could be argued that high prices should be expected for this area, but the mall itself is no longer considered a top destination in Miami. I do think the atmosphere would be completely different at nighttime and/or the weekend. Maybe have a lunch priced menu when the space is like a normal restaurant, to attract more folks.
