Munchies is a latin/cuban restaurant that had different empanadas, sandwiches, tacos, rice, baked goods and more... When you walk in its kinda fast paced if its busy so when you get in line be ready to order because you'll hold up the line. There were tables to sat at if you dine in. There were also outside tables but if you sit outside be prepared for pigeon's galore. There's no way i could eat outside with that many birds surrounding me. That's just me, but if that's your thing, enjoy!!! You and all 200 pigeons sort it out.. Lol... If they fly off with your food don't say i didn't warn u... I got the chicken and beef empanadas. The dough was good but the inside was a little dry!! But they still had good flavor. If your looking for a good place to try some authentic food stop by!!! Check them out!!

Best food in South Beach, unbelievable how fresh everything is, highly recommend! Beat empanadas anywhere!

We stumbled across Munchie's while just walking around. We really wanted good Latin food. The customer service was great and service was quick. The food to me was a little dry and they didn't offer much as far as sauces. They have packets of hot sauce. The flavors were almost there but still seemed to lack something. I order pork with some skin, the skin was inedible. Very tough. We sat outside on the patio and it was fine.

Shrimp wrap combo. Really quite nice.

Nice little place, very convenient and relatively inexpensive compared to other restaurants in the Lincoln road area. Worth a try.

Now don't tell Dulce Cafeteria that I'm really loving the pan de Bono here... and the guava/cheese Danish. I had the breakfast wrap. It has eggs cheese peppers onions and it. I paid an extra dollar to have it stuffed with sweet plantains. It was so delicious! Funny thing... There's a THC store right across the street from it LOL you can sit outside and eat right in front of the store. It's even covered! My dog had the chicken croquettes. He liked them a lot!

I had a need for Cuban coffee especially a cafecito. Before 8 am, not many places open in south beach so very thankful for Muchie's. There were lots of great breakfast choices as well. Since I was on a long walk and wanted to walk on the beach, I did not have my wallet so thankful they take Apple Pay- not $5 min. The cafecito hit the spot and I ended buying two in order to meet the $5 min for the credit card. Quick service and they understood me.

I think I have the right location. I came here many years ago and had a local friend show me what Cubian espresso was. It was the experience but it's better than normal espresso because it's sweet and the way the serve it is in a small cup but with several tiny cups for sharing espresso shots. My friend tells the the name has changed but they served the espresso exactly how I remembered it. It's a great memory for me and I love the sweet espresso. This place probably has other great things but I cone for the espresso

This place is fire af . If you got the munchies and want a little of everything without breaking the bank you gotta hit this joint up. We got 3 empanadas, some potatoes meat stuffed thing, a Cuban sandwich, breakfast burrito and a papusa all for less than $60!!! They have a green and red salsa that are both soooo good too! We asked for a couple more salsas and he brought us the whole squeeze bottled of them! Great service there! Guy was sooo nice too.

Wish I took a picture of it but I ordered a $5 papaya smoothie and it was DELICIOUS. If you get it and can tolerate lactose, ask for it to be blended with milk.

The snapper itself was absolutely incredible, we devoured it. For our sides, we got plantains and salad. The plantains were so good, but you can skip the salad. It's literally just some cut veggies without dressing or any seasoning other than some dried cilantro. You do have to track down the waiters a bit but they will make sure your drinks are full and that you are otherwise taken care of. The ceviche and lomo saltado also looked incredible.

I am typically a patient and understanding person!! I get that there was a large party but c'mon now.. 1. We ordered a glass of sangria, it never arrived and then they still tried to charge us for it. 2. I had asked for a beer and then the waitress told me to wait, left and never came back. 3. I asked for a container for my leftovers but the waitress continued to stack plates on top of it. 4. There was a table before us who waited as long as we did to place an order and they actually got fed up and left. That's how bad it was and honestly I should have followed suit. I was excited to try this place out but I'm highly disappointed and will never come back

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban burger, and honestly both were dangerously good. The Cuban sandwich was exactly what you hope for -- crispy bread, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod at the person across from you like "yep... this was the right decision." The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too. Nice vibe, good energy, and perfect for walking around before or after eating... which you will probably need to do after finishing that burger. The servers were good -- friendly, attentive, and thankfully didn't judge us for attacking the food like we hadn't eaten in three business days. Overall the place has a fun atmosphere, great Cuban comfort food, and the kind of menu that makes you want to come back just to try the things you didn't order the first time. Highly recommend... just be prepared to leave full and slightly considering a nap. 10/10 would happily destroy another Cuban sandwich there again.

The roasted pork was tender, juicy, and packed with savory garlic-forward flavor. The crispy edges added a nice contrast in texture, and the mojo-style seasoning brought everything together with a bright, citrusy punch. It was comforting, flavorful, and paired really well with the traditional sides. Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made the dining experience smooth even during a busy time. The vibe is lively and colorful, with a nostalgic Cuban café atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel festive and welcoming. It's a great spot for groups, casual dinners, or anyone looking to enjoy classic Cuban comfort food. Overall, a really solid Cuban meal with bold flavors and generous portions. I'd come back to try more of their traditional dishes and cocktails.
