I ordered the 14-inch buttermilk pancake with triple berries on top, and my husband ordered the sausage gravy 'n biscuits with two sunnyside-up eggs. Both foods were significantly larger than what we could fit into our stomachs, and they tasted very good. The total price was $27 with cash or $28 with a credit card plus a tip. We had to pay up front at the cash register, not at our table. Note that a free parking lot is behind the building.

Toast is extra, but the prices are reasonable for everything and portion sizes are sufficient. My daughter had a breakfast with hash browns and said they were cold, unfortunately. That is the only negative thing I can say. The restaurant and ladies room were both very clean. The walls are adorned with lots of funny farmhouse signs. the whole place is very country themed . You can tell it is a favorite local breakfast spot and if you live in Westmoreland County you should definitely have breakfast or lunch here!

They are all comfortable and spacious with seats that will work with any body type. They have a pretty large drink menu with some fun and creative options (and of course you could always order something not on the menu). The food menu has their featured chicken, pizza, salads and entrees such as pasta. I don't know the secret to their breading, but is is crispy and packed with flavor and the chicken is juicy and tender. Portion size is great and everything I've ever ordered has been tasty. The one downside is that with the high ceilings and nothing to dampen sound, it can get really loud . Not so loud you can't hear the other people at your table or anything, but noisier than most places that are a sit down restaurant. A wonderful spot for a tasty meal!
