I honestly can say it was the best pizza I have ever had. I got the Billy Jean and added more toppings, which at no additional cost for extra toppings, I was surprised I could do that. That pizza has ricotta cheese on it and it took it to a whole new level. I actually couldn't wait to get up and have an extra slice I brought home for breakfast! The chef came out to ask us how we liked it. you can tell he truly cares about his craft and is an actual artist with his creations. Our service was outstanding as well. They truly care about making your dining out experience enjoyable. I like the vibe. We felt like we were in a beach town enjoying an evening out at a local favorite spot. My pie had four pcs (not filets, only one half filet and 3 pcs) of anchovy total on my pizza with small pcs of peppers. The sauce was entirely different from any pizza we have ever had at Sforno - it was bland and almost flavorless which is 180° from any pizza we have had before. It's a shame when a restaurant of any kind cheapens and or cuts back on quality ingredients for whatever reason - was the second story addition added to soon for the business to support? Did winning the Trib Live Best of the Best 2025 award listed on the door make them complacent? We will never know - but it's extremely disappointing to see this happen to a place that was fantastic up until now.
