First time at the Firepit. We called at 4:00 on Friday for reservation and the woman on the phone was rude but we got one for 6:00. We sat in a corner area near the bar. There are quite a few tables, a large bar area and a covered porch area to sit. It was PACKED and extremely loud. We tried the pulled pork sandwich, ribs, burger and pizza. The work sandwich and burger was good, the ribs and pizza were ehhhh.. our waitress was great and handled such a busy night perfect. Maybe we will try it on a week night next time.

We visited for a family member's birthday. I was checking out the Yelp score before we went and was slightly worried. The low scores seem to be focused on the service received and not the food or facilities. I can honestly say that we experienced no issues with the service. Our server was nice and also was attentive to our group of 6. The restaurant seemed clean and somewhat newer. The menu was okay, not outstanding. We got an app of chicken tenders which were decent. Two of us ordered burgers. Actually we both got the same burger, the throwback. It was okay, but I will say both were overcooked. We asked for medium and got closer to well done. The fries were good. My son ordered the chicken with asparagus and enjoyed it. My daughter ordered a pizza and liked it as well. If back in the area, I would try it again.

I called in the morning and made a reservation for for 5:15 that afternoon, the person that I spoke with couldn't have been more accommodating in determining what our needs were and where we might want to sit, when we arrived, our table was waiting, we were seated and our drink orders were taken right away. The staff and service were outstanding our food orders came out in a reasonable amount of time. Some members of our group were happy with their selections and others were not, overall I'd say it's pretty typical bar food. I chose this restaurant because of its location being a midway point for our group coming from three different directions.

I was super excited to find this place while traveling through but I do think we stopped at an "off time." We were one of the first tables here, and the restaurant did fill up quickly. The bruschetta chicken I ordered was horrible, the chicken portion was extremely small and I had to cut off/toss out several bites that were tough and gross. Additionally, it was doused in the balsamic glaze so I couldn't really judge the taste of the food. I was sharing with our toddler so requested to sub the asparagus with fresh veggies, they did so and also charged a generous upcharge to do so. I did confirm there was no charge before ordering but I guess that wasn't the case. The potatoes on my dish were not cooked completely, needless to say I did not finish my plate here. My husbands burger was "ok" which was surprising because it looked yummy. Bar was hopping for steeler game. We don't live in the neighborhood so I'm not sure if we would stop again.

    Trying a new place.

Have been here multiple times since our first. Every time here has been good food & fair price!. Tonight we are a party of 3 on a packed Saturday night. 25 min wait & seated! Live music - the place is hopping at 7 pm. We ordered some classics- fire pit burger, smoked wings with 2 of the special sauces & steak tacos! Our server Taylor was wonderful. Friendly, attentive & hustled.

The one onion ring I ate wasn't done in the middle.

Food was a mixed bag. I got the lunchtime soup/salad combo. I was excited for the mushroom soup but it was beyond salty! Yikes!! The salad was ok but the baby greens were difficult to pick up and really stick to the teeth! I couldn't wait to get home and floss. Husband liked his pulled pork and the onion rings, though the one onion ring I ate wasn't done in the middle! His charred Caesar salad was...interesting? Overall, there's potential but the food wasn't at its best on our visit.

The dinner atmosphere was lacking. Vacuum at 8:40pm. Vacuuming definetly ruined it. The meal was good. Sirloin steak. They sweetened the arugula and corn topping which was offputting. Arugula is enjoyed for its astringent bitter peppery taste, sweetening didnt work well with it

Came in by myself to have a drink and lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Sat at the bar and was greeted immediately and offered a drink menu. I selected a beer from the vast menu and was served. My food order taken and arrived in a timely manner. Bar was pretty full for a weekend afternoon with sports on and my food came out in a timely manner as well. Everything was hot, fresh tasting and delicious. Will definitely be back!

Worst Macncheese I've ever had... was just buttered noodles and was like they weren't even whole.

I love the Faroe salmon dinner there. They have excellent mushroom soup also. The wait staff are very attentive, pleasant atmosphere.

The food was ok. I had the Mac and cheese and it was a little dry. The service was a little slow. The restaurant itself was beautiful.

Examples of menu items are appetizers (e.g., mozzarella sticks and pulled-pork nachos), salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, entrees (e.g., salmon and chicken parmesan), pastas, pizzas, calzones, strombolis, cocktails, wines, and beers. Please note that the building has different entrances/exits for the dining room, bar, and to-go. For many years, Rodney's has been one of my mother-in-law's favorite restaurants, so I have eaten foods from here at least a few times. Here are my ratings for some recent foods: Soy Glazed Salmon - 5 stars - The salmon was a good size, was cooked nicely, and had a sweet soy glaze. It was served over flavorful brussels sprouts, carrots, and potatoes. Veal parmesan - 4 stars - Veal tenderloin medallions were breaded and topped with tomato sauce and provolone cheese. I liked that the breading was not soggy. Pecan-encrusted chicken salad - 4 stars - Chicken breast was encrusted with pecan breading and served atop a house salad with pecans, tomatoes, dried cranberries, and mandarin oranges. Grilled chicken salad - 4 stars - Grilled chicken breast was baked in Cajun butter and served atop a fresh house salad with cheeses, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and fries.

The portions here are huge and hearty! You get a lot of bang for your buck. What we ordered: -Stuffed Banana Peppers - these were HUGE and were really tasty! Definitely found a new fav appetizer -Fettucine du-Marie alfredo with jumbo tiger shrimp & scallops - I have to admit that I have not had an alfredo that is better than my homemade sauce, BUT this still hit the spot. The seafood portions were generous. -Side Caesar salad (comes with the pasta dish) - really big portion for a side salad which was nice! I liked that they added hard boiled eggs. Pretty good for a side salad. -Winter lemon drop cocktail - refreshing! Love a lemon drop -Complementary bread - yummy & loved that it was toasted -Pork chop & fried jumbo shrimp - my family's orders. I tried one of the fried shrimp and it was good! -Not pictured but my dad got the black angus strip - he ordered it rare but said it was a little overcooked. He said it was just good. He is a steak snob though. Overall this is a good spot for a solid meal if you find yourself in Irwin!
