    Tomato Vodka Pasta
    Anna H.

I'm gluten free(celiac) and was excited to see they had clearly marked gluten free options. I ordered the vodka pasta and when it arrived confirmed that it was gluten free and the waiter assured me. I began to eat it and very quickly found 2 other types of pasta mixed in. Both a spaghetti and penne. We flagged the waitress down and she apologized and offered to re make it. I declined because it is clear that their staff does not have the training or knowledge to successfully cook a gluten free meal or understand the severity of this allergy. They obviously were using a shared colander or pan that was not being washed between uses. Absolutely not safe for anyone with celiac or a general allergy. Do not come here.

    Ruben Sandwich (rubber)

Simply rubber. Been coming here for a decade, and the food quality has usually been very good. Just ordered a Ruben sandwich meal, to go. The meat is simply uneatable. Corned beef is like gum. Just had to share, we can do better.

Atria's has been serving Pittsburgh for almost 100 years which is an incredible feat in itself. I have only ever been to this location in McMurray and have had decent times. The most recent time I dined here I had a lemon drop martini and the crispy chicken salad. Everything was good. My brother had the shrimp appetizer and a single crab cake. I was shocked to find that his bill for those two items and soda was over $42 before tip. A single crab cake is $26! I had a bite, crab cake was ok, but I wouldn't pay that for it again. Service is good, but this place is a little overrated and overpriced. I would stop by here again to sit at the bar and have a salad and a cocktail or if this was somewhere my friends wanted to go, but this would not be my first choice for dining in McMurray.

    Hawaii chicken

This is the first time I've visited this location of the popular chain. Atria's is currently doing retro month bringing back features from previous menus. I used to love their Hawaiian chicken and was so glad to see it on this special menu. It comes with rice and green beans and is covered in a Teriyaki sauce. It took a while to get the food by my waitress did apologize for being so late. Needless to say I really enjoyed it. Only wish they would keep it on the menu. This location is very trendy and has outdoor seating available. They have a full bar and a spacious dining room. They are located is a small mall behind Aldi's past Donaldson's crossroads. Highly recommend them for holiday meals. You can't get a better holiday meal elsewhere for a decent price. They also have pick up available.

    Crab Cake Sandwich
    Rebecca M.

Horrible experience tonight. The crab cake sandwich was so tiny, it was $19 and I left starving. Our service was horrible because a large party was getting full attention, and everyone was closing up the restaurant and cleaning up at 7:30. The bartender who was taking care of us never even asked how our food was or if we needed anything. It took an hour for our food to come out, and it was horrible. I've never had celery in crab cakes EVER.. I had to pick out every single piece with my hand.

Our waitress did an amazing job accommodating such a large group, and everyone's food came out together, which is no small feat. The lavender martini was incredible--it's like a lemon drop with a hint of lavender and was absolutely delicious. The short rib tacos from the happy hour menu were also outstanding. My mom and I shared the beet salad and crab cake from the regular menu. The kitchen thoughtfully split the beet salad onto two plates before bringing it out, which was a nice touch. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Between the great food, attentive service, fun atmosphere, and how well they handled our large party, Nate's Chophouse was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

The food was good, better than Texas Roadhouse but not in the same class as Morton's or Ruth Chris. I ordered the 14oz. Prime Ribeye and it was cooked to specification - medium rare. It was very tender and I was pleased that despite noticeable marbling I did not have to cut away a lot of fat. For sides, we ordered the truffle mac & cheese, au gratin potatoes, and the truffle fries. The fries stole the show, crispy and well-seasoned with the garlic aioli. I would say that our service was on point around the time we received our food, but outside of that, it was subpar. Our server took our orders quickly, but we had to request bread for our table at least three or four times. I will say that our drinks were kept moderately filled throughout the night. The prices reflect a higher-end steakhouse. I did not think that anything was outrageously priced. If you are on a date night, it is unlikely you will get out for under $200 if you order drinks and after tip. On a scale of 1-5: Food - 4 Service - 2 Price - 3.5

My husband and I had a reservation for dinner here. The dress code was business casual, but some other customers wore smart casual. The waitress provided friendly service. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Chopped Salad - 4.5 stars - Iceberg lettuce was topped with grape tomatoes, cucumbers, green olives, croutons, bacon, and parmigiano-reggiano cheese. Bistecca Wedge Salad - 4.5 stars - Roughly half of a head of lettuce was topped with smoked bacon, onions, bleu cheese, and gorgonzola crumble. (No tomatoes at my husband's request.) Salmon Oscar - 4.5 stars - Atlantic salmon was grilled and topped with flavorful colossal lump crab, asparagus, and hollandaise. Filet mignon - 5 stars - My husband ordered a 10-ounce filet mignon, and the chef cooked it medium-rare as requested. On the side was béarnaise sauce. My husband enjoyed this steak very much. Au Gratin Potatoes - 4.5 stars - This side dish looked like "potato lasagna." Potatoes were thinly sliced and layered so they looked like lasagna. The cheesy sauce tasted good. New York Cheese Cake - 4.5 stars - The slice of this cake was a good size. It had a nice cheesy flavor, and we liked its graham crust, strawberry sauce, and sweet whipped cream. We drank water and did not order beverages. The total cost for this meal was $171 plus a tip.

However, since the waiter never asked, I never got to feel cool like Mr. Bond, yet I can understand why this was always his favorite drink. These were followed up by a Black Cherry Old Fashioned and Zero Proof Hibiscus Margarita. The only thing you could taste in each drink were just the bourbon and the spice respectively. Even after adding flavor to the Margarita it was still drowned out by the spiciness. - Food: 4 / 5 Appetizer - Snails, the French love them. I have never had them, but what is a way to take that dish and make it even more pretentious? Easy. Substitute with lobster and make it escargot style. Give me a monocle and a top hat and I will hold my pinky up as I take a bite because this was damn good. The only caveat was they don't give you a spoon. Instead they give you a tiny fork to feel like a giant as you struggle to scoop it onto your plate. Salad - Soft and fresh. Do I need to say more? Entrée - Do you hate having money? Have you always wished you would receive a birth certificate for your steak proving that it is in fact real and not just another "made in China" knockoff? If you answered yes to either question then I have a bridge to sell you. All jokes aside, ordering the Japanese 100% A5 Strip Steak was an experience. The manager personally came to the table beforehand to present a display version of the steak, discuss its exceptional quality, and provide a certificate of authenticity you can take home, frame, and hang in your office, so everyone knows you truly hate money. The steak was phenomenal. I left Paul's birth certificate behind however because I was mesmerized by a siren the whole evening. We also had seared salmon. It was alright. It took on the role of the sidekick that night. Dessert - Like a moth to a flame we watched intently as our waiter lit the dish on fire but alas the Flaming Butter Cake was alright. Not a big cake fan, sorry. Luckily, a cheesecake arrived at the same time and after a strawberry syrup was poured over it the taste shone like stars in a countryside sky. - Service: 6 / 5 This entire dinner was brought to you by waiter and waitress recommendations since Hyde Park runs a dual service experience per table. I have no complaints and commend the staff wholeheartedly. The waiter of the night swooped in and saved the experience from being ruined when the cheesecake originally delivered had nuts on top and my partner in crime has a food allergy. His quick thinking and the waitress coming out immediately to apologize turned a potential disaster into a testament to their professionalism. - Vibe: 5 / 5 VIP, Very Important Person, is something everyone believes they deserve everywhere they go. This is where Hyde Park makes their mark. From the moment you sit down to the moment you walk out you are a VIP. If you have a food allergy you do not have to worry. They will take care of it so you can simply enjoy the experience and live another day. Overall: 4.25 / 5 I originally rated this a 4, but bumped it up because the VIP experience genuinely carried the night and made for an everlasting memory. However as you all know, anytime seafood is involved in a landlocked state, I cannot in good conscience hit that golden buzzer to reveal a 5. We will definitely return, but probably not for a while. The food journey is never ending and my wallet took such a hit that I may rethink my life choices before ordering the Japanese 100% A5 Strip Steak again. P.S. If you order the filet, you deserve to lose your money. Recommend? Of course

Our server was excellent and the auxiliary staff were courteous and efficient. We started with a calamari appetizer which was a little spicy but delicious. Beware of the two Thai chilies in the mix! Next my husband had the lobster bisque. It was quite rich with a large chunk of lobster as a garnish. Our main courses were a 10 ounce filet, wild caught shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and Chilean sea bass. Everyone loved their entrees. Our son especially loved the filet, it was so tender. We ordered two side dishes for the table and they were plenty for the three of us. Decadent lobster mashed potatoes and crabmeat fried rice. We shared a dessert, creme brûlée which was topped with fresh berries and served with chewy cocoa snowflake cookies. Overall the food was excellent. Service started out a little rocky. I had made a reservation online and it would only let me choose a high top. We don't like high tops so I called the restaurant a few days before and they assured me they could accommodate us with a regular table, not to worry. Upon entering and giving my name for the reservation, the Maitre D'être said it's for a high top. I explained that I'd called and we didn't want a high top. He said he could only offer us a booth in the lounge, so we took it. The lounge had a jazz trio playing and the music was a bit too loud for comfortable conversation. The server had to talk above the music to be heard by us. Luckily they took a break and when they came back the volume was lower. As we were leaving I noticed there was a whole dining room with empty tables which were NOT high tops. So why did they seat us in the lounge? Our drink orders were pretty simple, however because they serve the cocktails from the shaker, the server mixed up the dinks and poured my husband's margarita into my 'dirty' martini glass. So I had a three blue cheese olive margarita! A margarita-tini! He realized what he did, apologized and ran off to get another margarita for my husband. I had eaten the olives and tasted the margarita, which was very good. When he returned, he asked if I still wanted the martini and I laughed and said, yes, that what I ordered. So my husband got the benefit of two Margaritas for the price of one and I got three extra blue cheese olives! That was the only goof up. The rest of the meal was flawlessly served. I felt that even though the prices are high, the portion size and the quality of the food provide a good value. You expect to pay more in a place like this. It was well worth it in my opinion. And if you are there during Happy Hour you can choose cocktails and appetizers from the Happy Hour menu which is quite reasonable.
