The fries were good but they forgot to bring them out. They got busy and we didn't get much help to cash out. Overall, it was a decent place to eat/ it was a nice atmosphere and seemed clean. The hostess was amazing. Very friendly and welcoming.. I thought man a good start.. then it went drastically down hill. It took us over an hour and half to get and finish our meal. Waiter came over and seemed out of place. Took our orders for drinks and appetizers then disappeared. Our drinks came out slowly considering it was two waters and a lemonade. We ordered the garlic cheese curds. No plates to eat them on, no extra napkins.. They were good, nothing like omg I have to get again. We asked now for a Pepsi and Arnold Palmer with our dinner order.. drinks even slower than the last time came out.. no water refills to be seen. Then our food at this point should be done.. oh no waiter comes out..they are out of chicken fingers. Our child has to order something else.. choices were grilled cheese or pasta. We came here specifically because of the kids menu and tenders. That should have been told to us before even getting into the dining area. So I ask can you make a small kid burger? Nope! They are all premade burgers. They offer no alternative to a kids meal that has protein on it unless you want grilled cheese. What the actual hell. My kid has an issue with milk. They won't discount the adult meal that our kid won't fully finish. So a reasonable night went out the door. Was the waiter willing to ask a boss.. again nope.. no boss to be seen. Husband ordered the fish and was told to pick any side. He ordered poutine. I ordered the grilled chicken with poutine. My son was forced to get the fried chicken and we had to cut it up for him. No water refill or refill asked once our food hit the table. Didn't see our waiter again til he wanted to settle the bill. My chicken was ok. The chicken really should have been pounded thinner.. one side was very thick and the other was barely there. I wasn't impressed with the poutine, beyond swimming in gravy, too much. My sons chicken was huge so he only ended up eating 1/3 of it given he's a kid. Such a waste of money. My husbands fish was ok, it came out with chips on his plate and then the waiter brought poutine. he said the texture of the breading wasn't good. At home we have some of the best fish fry's and this one wasn't one of them. Here's the kicker.. get the bill.. it has full shot for all meals.. no man we messed up with your kids meal.. and they charged my husband extra for poutine. 4.50 for something that came with his meal. My meal was normal price. At this point we had been there for an hour and half with a child I wanted out so we just paid and left. If your looking to flush money down the toilet and spend an hour and half to two hours of your life on a meal.. this is the place.

When we walked in, we were greeted instantly and told we could choose anywhere to sit. Our waitress was almost over immediately to hand us menus and took our drink orders. The restaurant had a nice friendly ambiance to it. Seeming like this time a year, it was mainly for locals. There were one or two other people who walked in, who the staffed seemed to know. We ordered some of their garlic cheese bread as an appetizer. I order their southwest shrimp salad, and my wife ordered the cheese Italian bread pizza. We unfortunately were told that we needed to check in early to the place we were staying, so we asked if we could actually have our food to go, and the staff were so accommodating. We did have some of their garlic bread before we left, and it was crispy and fresh with nice gooey cheese. The marinara sauce was very flavorful too. The southwest shrimp salad I had was also delicious. The shrimp were cooked just right with a good amount of seasoning to them. The vegetables and tortilla strips were fresh and crunchy. The cilantro lime dressing also had a nice brightness to it, but also that creamy texture. We will definitely be back in the future when we come back to this area.

We arrived shortly before 9am and had no wait for table. Although there were only half a dozen other tables of diners service was a slow crawl. It was a lovely view so I just drank in the ambiance of the Bay and watched the tour boats docking and departing. Ham and cheese omelettes light and fluffy with more than enough toast with a wide selection of jellies. Home fries on the side were a little bland but easily rectified with salt and pepper. The orange juice was served un chilled in a 6 oz glass for $4. It was more than enough food for two with leftovers to go. $41 though with no coffee or refills on the OJ. Nice experience but will probably do breakfast at diners in town next visit.

They bring you a little loaf of bread and butter, as well as a red sauce. The bread was hot and delicious! My husband had New England clam chowder and enjoyed it. For the main meal, I had a burger, which is my favorite food to eat everywhere. It was cooked perfectly. I had considered the chicken parm that came with fettuccini Alfredo. I asked if it came with a side salad. No it did not, but I could order a side salad if I wanted to. So for $10 less, I got my trusty go-to order, the burger, which had fries as a side and felt like a more complete meal. My husband got the steak which had lots of fat. They don't have a dessert menu but our waitress told us the options. We got the strawberry cheesecake for dessert. It had white chocolate drizzle which we did not enjoy and would have asked to be left off, if we had known. Our waitress was very attentive. Some spaces were dated (the bathroom) , others had been updated. My husband gave it a 6/10 but the view will make it a 7/10.

Late arrival for check in and trying to find your way around a target confusing maze of roads made more so by the mounds of snow everywhere. The separate building closer to the water has no signs indicating what entrance, and the for sticks so much we thought it was locked which had us wondering around trying all the other doors in the blizzard weather. You go into a building to leave the building for the courtyard area, which wasn't shoveled so we had to do so ourselves least the wall of snow fall into the room when the door was opened. Our heater made terrible noises that interrupted the sleep cycle so badly we left a day early, while still paying for all the days we reserved of course. Very much an older place with not a lot of upgrades, jacuzzi tub was nice and honestly the only reason the room was worth the price as the beds weren't very comfortable and made noises when you moved. Overall it will keep you dry and warm but so will anywhere else you pay to sleep. Next time I'll pay the little extra to stay in Clayton where there's actual places open and the hotel looked much nicer while not having to trek uphill to get to your room, hoping you don't have to climb stairs once you're there! Pros: hot water (so long as everyone else isn't showing at the same time), jacuzzi tub option, pretty view from courtyard Cons: noisy heater, noisy uncomfortable bed, weird layouts, confusing driveways, not a lot of upgrades, cold breakfast in a depressing little room, laid back customer service means you might be standing at the counter listening to people in a room you can't see talking while you wait to be noticed. Also be sure you check the door lock, our luck faced sideways when engaged which is the opposite of what I'm use to so we locked ourselves out of the room a few times.

Prices were very reasonable and the menu selection was varied, but the focus was traditionally American fare, steaks, burgers, chicken and the like. If beer is something you like, they have a huge beer menu. The wine list was also very long. All three of us got burgers and asked for the medium. Two were perfect, but mine was more of a medium, rare side, however, I eat it is cooked, and it was delicious. My wife had ordered a pickle for hers, but none came with the meal, and she didn't feel like asking for one after the fact. Overall, the food is very good, and the prices were less than what one would expect to pay at a restaurant in a resort town. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the weight staff. They were very friendly and seated as quickly, but allowed us time to relax and enjoy a nice summer evening on the deck. The amount of time for the meal was on the longer side, but we were totally OK with that, and if we had wanted to leave sooner, I'm sure we could've let the waitress know, and I request would've been accommodated.
