The nurses there are awesome & caring...we both appreciate them all! They attended any issues within a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend this facility!

Today I visit, dad couldn't cut the chicken and peas were dried up and shriveled. I asked for foods to be heated up as always and was told no, pts could not have food microwaved, after doing it almost daily! My dad was hungry and he lost close to ten pounds but they are refusing to let him eat!! I called the state. So much of his clothes and other resident's clothes missing as per multiple nurses statements. And the DOR who was just fired, let's just say I can't wait for the state to call me tomorrow.

After touring numerous facilities we begged for admittance at country meadows. The biggest plus there is that they are well staffed and my dad would have the proper care that was necessary, the patient to staff ratio was one of the highest I saw and this makes a big difference in the care you would receive. (previously, prior to the amputation he was at New Eastwood in Easton where he'd press a call button and over an hour and a half later would soil himself because nobody responded, so staffing number's definitely count)..... Throughout the whole stay at Country Meadows the staff all cared for my father very well, he liked some of the food and some he did not. Although he got a bed ulcer, he previously had the start of it at the hospital so CM was definitely not to blame. Their showers are clean and easy accessible and they have the staff to bathe residents twice a week. They even have a salon to get your hair washed in the interim. Everyone there was accommodating to his needs and would recommend them to anyone looking for short term rehabilitation or even long term care. I felt that my dad was safe there every time I left from a visit.

They seem to only be concerned with sitting on their phones or watching videos or movies on their tablets. I never had any consistency with which aide would be coming, even though it was promised that I would be matched with an aide with whom I developed a good rapport. Never happened. Punctuality was always a problem, and I went 3 consecutive Sundays with no coverage at all; thank heaven for my family! There were too many days when my aide never showed up at all, and both the scheduler and the owner always swore to get me an aide when I called the office, but consistently gave a disclaimer, always promising "I am trying to get someone, but they must be sleeping, or their phone must be turned off." My favorite was one aide who deserted me (I am wheelchair-bound) to drive to McDonalds for her lunch. These girls--yes, most were 20-somethings whose experience caring for clients consisted of caring for their grandmother. Another highlight-I use that word extremely loosely-was caregivers who arrived sick--I have a suppressed immune system and cannot be around anyone who is coughing, sneezing, etc. One time the caregiver spent her shift wiping her runny nose; she claimed it was "allergies." I spent the next week in bed with a severe Upper Respiratory infection, and was extremely weak. There is NOTHING "bright" or "star"-worthy about this agency at all. I have nothing but regrets about ever having dealt with them!

Everyone was VERY nice and really good at their jobs. My dad had a recent stay in Moravian Village after an accident. This was a pretty good way to do an apples to apples comparison. The staff at Moravian has a really high turnover, they seem understaffed, and unhappy at their jobs. Supervisory staff are very unprofessional. Cedarbrook seems to have almost all people who will spend their career at the facility, have plenty of staff, even on weekends, and everyone seems legitimately happy at their job. The rehab staff, OT and PT, at Moravian were not terrible, but they did not tailor anything to my dad's needs. They seemed to be just going through the motions. Cedarbrook was just the opposite, the staff really wanted to zero in on what would help my dad to get back home and be successful. We both came away very impressed with everything at Cedarbrook. I know this sounds like an ad, but this place really is that much better than others in the area.

We, his siblings, believe that Complete Care is the best possible place for him. (in the process of caring for a grandmother, 2 aunts, mother, father, and brother, we've used MANY of the assisted living and skilled nursing facilities in Lehigh and Schuylkill County.) The entire staff, whether nursing, Activities, aides, PT, OT, SW, speech, or food services, has been consistently attentive, responsive, and caring. We are managing our brother's care long-distance and it gives us tremendous peace of mind to know that he is in good hands at Complete Care where they treat him like family. They deserve 5 stars!

Something that they dont get from the facility in which they have come to call home. My misfortune with Complete Care at Spring Creek was trying to get paid, which took over 7 months. I had to resend invoices numerous times and the director had passed me off to the AP person. I recently spoke to the director about coming back to perform for the residents, which by the way was told how much the residents loved the times that I was there for them. However, I was informed that the Administrator, told the Director, NOT, to have me back. And she herself apologized to me. Judgeing by reading some of the reviews about Complete Care, as well as my experience with them,this is not the place for care for your loved ones. Do your homework and choose wisely before committing your family member to a facility that has a better reputation.
