Lunch for two today on a rainy day. They have an awning that covers 4 tables, so though all the dining is outdoors, don't be afraid to stop by in wet conditions. They have a simple menu, but a surprising large variety of beverages including beer. Service is near-instantaneous, I think our dogs were ready in under a minute. The Chicago dog was wonderful and quite authentic, gotta wonder where they get those buns! The only "beef" I have is there was no celery salt on the dogs, which is required to get that truly authentic flavor. They could even just provide a shaker of the stuff for those that want it. Great lunch spot!!

Manzanita Mudd Dogs is by far the best hot dog restaurant/stand that I have been to date. They have a selection from a few different hotdog options, all of which taste heavenly, with my favorite being the chili dog. They never skimp on the toppings when it comes to their dogs either making it a good amount of food for the price you are paying. The owner of the stand has been working every time I've gone and is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met. He's always quick to make you smile and willing to strike up a conversation with most anyone. All of the staff at this local stand have been just as friendly and are quick to make your order. The seating is all outdoors which can be nice as long as it is not too windy or rainy on any given day, and they have a couple of corn hole boards in the back of the seating to play while you wait. The only point I feel should be mentioned is that this establishment is closed during certain times of the year due to the cooler season/weather so keep an eye on the availability online or you can always ask them directly. Overall, I would 100% recommend this spot to any one at all who has ever been interested in eating a hot dog (especially a Chicago style dog) or just having a nice chat with a kind hot dog stand owner.

I do not normally rave about hot dogs but I'll rave about these ones! I tried this place just for kicks and they blew me away. These hot dogs are full of flavor and texture and the meat is superb. I've been back several times since that first visit. Definitely worth stopping here on your way to the beach (which is only a few blocks from their location). Food comes out fast but it is definitely not "Fast Food". Everything is fresh and tasty and top-notch. Service is always friendly. And they have plenty of shaded, outdoor seating. read more

Manzanita Mudd Dogs is by far the best hot dog restaurant/stand that I have been to date. OH MY GOODNESS.... BEST DANG DOG in the WORLD, right here in Manzanita, Oregon!! To say that we are addicted is an understatement!!!! This little gem is outdoors so dress warm, but it's worth it! The owners Lynn, Mike & Brad are adorable with the best hospitality. Live music occasionally.... Open until the first storm in October (then closed) until sometime in April. Two brothers wanting to have an authentic Chicago hotdog. Delicious. We sat by one of the outdoor fire pits and just enjoyed the sunshine and the dogs. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to anybody who loves hotdogs. read more

Do not skip this gem of a place if you are visiting Manzanita. It is literally 3 mins walk away from the beach and the Chicago style hot dog is delicious! Every ingredient in the hot dog tastes fresh and I especially love the jalapeños and the Vienna dog. Will absolutely visit again when I am in town. read more

Seriously the best hotdog I've ever had. Loved the whole pickle spear and those little hot peppers - though everything about that dog was fantastic! A must in Manzanita. Make sure you bring cash, no cards. (review & pic is from our visit in July 2021) Looking forward to coming back! Okay who rates a hot dog stand?! Not typically me, but dang were these good!! We were walking by and the smell stopped us, we weren't quite hungry yet so thought we'd come back later, then found out they only take cash or checks...so we hiked up the street for cash..came back and thank goodness we did! My oldest daughter and I had the full on Chicago dog..husband and other two daughters got the make your own. But it was ahhhmazing. Definitely try this place if you want a quick yummy lunch! While visiting my friend who moved to Manzanita, I stumbled upon Manzanita Mudd Dogs! I was so excited, because I hadn't had a Chicago dog since I was in Chicago 8 yrs ago! I'll start with the positive: The French Toast is probably the best I've ever had! My wife ordered the French Toast, and after I tried a bite of hers, I ordered a piece. All of the ingredients were fresh; but the prices are a little higher than they ought to be. I ordered the Biscuits and Groovy. Biscuits is plural in the name. If there were 2 biscuits, they were tiny. If there was only 1 biscuit, maybe rename the item Biscuit & Groovy. In either case, there wasn't a lot of gravy. The wait wasn't bad. 30 minutes for a table for 2 on a Sunday in February. Can't imagine the wait in the Spring or Summer. We ordered 3 cocktails. Total for all three was $41. These were easily the most expensive 'mocktails' ever. None of them seemed to have much liquor. You aren't going to get lit at Yolk. All in all, 3.5 stars. But I wouldn't go back. And I definitely wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes to dine at Yolk.

Best hotdogs ever! Literally bit into it and was amazed at how delightful all the flavor a were. I got a loaded Chicago style dog. It was terrific. The staff. Well they are even more of a delight. Bonus- they support the local community and give a lot to helping the children in the community. Money well spent! read more
