My parents hosted our bridal shower (111 guests) at Manzo's last week and we could not be happier with our experience. My fiance and I were extremely happy from beginning to end. The food was absolutely delicious! I attended the food tasting with my mom and figured we would get the traditional banquet hall menu, but the food tasted MUCH better the day of the event. Our guests were blown away by the freshness and taste of every meal. I have to say, the service was also great. The staff was very attentive and made sure all our guests were taken care of. The decor of this hall is elegant and welcoming.The lighting the hall provides by the head table helped the room look fabulous.The bathrooms were very clean, as well as the overall venue. This was the first time anyone in both of our families attended an event at Manzo's and everyone was delighted. I highly recommend this venue. read more

What can I say about Manzos. I have been coming here for years, Weddings, Communions and so on. The food is outstanding and the banquet halls are very nice clean and have a great ambiance. I personally have never used their services myself so I cant comment on prices. But every time I go I have a great time and have some great food, So right there I give them 5 stars. read more

Hosted our daughter's wedding reception on Saturday, May 7. From the time we contacted Manzo's to plan the reception through to the actual event, we were extremely happy with their professionalism. For the tasting which included me, my wife, daughter and future son-in-law, along with several other couples planning their event, they served family-style platters of just about every chicken they serve along with roast beef, pork cutlets, vegetables and potatoes. This gave us the opportunity to sample everything and make a decision. The night of the event, the room was decorated beautifully, the food was plentiful (soup, salad, pasta, entree) and delicious, and the service was impeccable. A special thank you to Brianna for helping to plan and Peter for making this a memorable event. We received many compliments from our guests about the food and the overall ambiance of the reception. Don't know if we'll ever have reason to use Manzo's for another event, but we'd do it in a heartbeat, and we'll highly recommend it to others. read more

KEEP OUT! This place should be called: "EAT FAST OR LEAVE HUNGRY -EMPTY TABLE " I could not believe it. Place looks o.k (like hundreds places like this) but what I was shocked about was staff's behavior. We had enough food, but we had to act fast , because waitresses were taking food from the table without asking if they should. For example: my wife went to the restroom and waitress took her cap with the coffee inside and dish with salad.(she did not have even time to try it!) Staff acted like : "everything must be removed from the table" They would remove a dishes full of food and bring NOTHING. I guess they prefer to throw away food(!!!) than leave it to the guests and let them enjoy food. At the end they left us at the empty tables- even thermos with the coffee, sugar and creamer was taken(!!!) . At least we were allowed to keep glasses with the water :-) SUMMARY: I've seen many banquet halls in my life and if you really want to enjoy food, find Banquet Hall managed by European. They know how to WELCOME THEIR GUESTS.There some places where you leave party with container full of food instead of EMPTY STOMACH. read more

This restaurant has been here for years and many people think there is only a banquet hall, but the restaurant is separate and very good. The chicken tetrazini is heaven and plentiful. The tomato sauce for other pastas is sweet and good. We never have a problem, and the owner is virtually always on hand to see that you have a good experience. Plenty of tables--we never had to wait. I wish they would have different bread on the table, tho. Never did like it, but appreciate the complmentary olives. read more

I had my wedding at Manzo's on May 28 2017 and it was perfect! It is a beautiful venue. Everyone LOVED the food! People are still telling us how much they enjoyed all the food! Everyone's food was hot and we had 300 people ! Don't know how they did it! The staff was wonderful! They were helpful throughout the entire process. Second time we celebrated New Year in this place. Last year it was amazing experience, with great impression from Manzo's Banquet Hall decoration, great food and drinks, excellent band and reasonable amount of people, allowed sufficient space on dancing floor. Impression from this year was different. While decoration and food was still very good, twice more people were packed in same space. Very average DJ (mostly only popular polish melodies) replaced a great band we remembered from last year. read more

I have to say, our experience with Manzo's Banquets was excellent. The event coordinators were very professional and accommodating. The staff arranged the ballroom exactly to my specifications and gave our photographer an amazing backdrop for photos. It was an affordable space a short drive out of Chicago, which is where most of my guests were coming from. We were able to host an incredible event nicer than most weddings at a budget, including an open bar and unlimited wine during dinner. Lastly, the food was very good (more than I'd hoped for banquet food). All in all, this is a venue I would use again, for its location, price range and professionalism. read more

I went to Manzo's today for the first time for a funeral luncheon. I wish I were there under happier circumstances as it was a lovely place. Appearance wise- attractive and pleasing without being gaudy or overdone. Beautiful for a shower/wedding/event. The food was good -family style, standard luncheon fare (chicken/beef, mostaccioli, mashed potatoes (totally whipped and delish), etc.) and there was plenty. The servers were incredible. Plates cleared right away without feeling like they were rushing you, just keeping your table clear. Courteous and friendly. Awesome service all around. My only gripe, which is pretty minor in the scheme of things, is that we had a group of 8 that needed to be seated and were told to fill in the gaps at other tables. Which I totally understand, I really do, but I had my 2 little kids, and my cousin had her 3 kids, plus my mom, so it was not a group that could easily split into ones or twos to fill in at other tables. So we asked if we could start a table that was roped off, but clearly set aside for this luncheon. The manager (owner?) insisted that we fill in, and even after a ton of other people spilled in and filled in at other tables, she wouldn't let us have a table, even AFTER she opened up another table for another group from the roped off area. My cousin said that she was told that since she had already told us to fill in, we needed to fill in. I cannot believe that I just wrote a paragraph about that. Once I spoke with her and she advised that the group had grown by a ton (they anticipated 200 or so, we were close to 300) and they didn't have the staff to add a ton of tables and I told her we understand and have worked in the restaurant business but that we just can't split our group into ones and twos, she opened up a table. BUT...it took 3 of us speaking to her and about 15-20 minutes or so to get seated, which was frustrating, especially after a long day at a funeral home, mass, cemetery, etc. However, I realize that it was a result of extenuating circumstances -larger crowds, etc. so I get it. But it just wasn't handled well very quickly. OVERALL, though, I would definitely recommend the place for any event. It really is a lovely space and the service was impeccable. Save for unforeseen/random circumstances outside of guest or management control, you will definitely enjoy it here. read more

I discovered this local bar and restaurant when in town on business. It was a local place but very comfortable. I would sit at the bar and the owner would make a point to come over and say hello. When I ordered food it was simply amazing! I could tell the dishes were derived from home made recipes that were decades old. You can't fake that kind of intense flavor. The price was also very reasonable. I haven't been there for some time, not by choice. If the bar is closed, that's really unfortunate. I will always remember it! By the way, I've dined at some very fine restaurants in many cities. read more

Krystyna and team assisted us throughout the planning process and was so accommodating for all of our "special" additions to make our day personal for us. We felt so cared for and we were able to really enjoy our day because of the team at Manzo's took care of every detail for us. This was the first time I had ever been to Manzos for anything. I was planning my daughters wedding and I was looking at different banquet halls. Right from the start the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We originally dealt with MT who showed us the room( The Crown Room) and then sat down to go over the different packages available. The prices were excellent( the reception was on a Friday). We decided on Chicken Marsala and Salmon. We went with the premium package . I couldn't believe how much it included. The wedding was September 19th. We had some last mine changes in the final count and Brianna was great. We were able to drop off the name cards, favors, and other things for the tables. The day of the wedding I went to check on the room and Brianna was putting the favors on the tables. She already had the gems on the centerpieces by the time I arrived. I didn't have to do a thing. The reception was from 6pm until 12. The hour dourves were plentiful and seemed to never end. The soup was hot and delicious. We had pasta with vodka sauce which was excellent. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the portion huge. The salmon was the same. We had the sweet and swedish table. The pastries were awesome. Every guest at the wedding could not stop talking about the food and how good it was. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have my daughters wedding. I would recommend Manzos if you are planning a wedding. read more

We held our wedding reception at Manzo's and I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. The room was beautiful. The food was amazing (we are still getting compliments). The staff the day of the event were friendly and helpful. Everything ran smoothly and I had not one care or concern knowing everything was cared for by Brianna and Peter who deserve big kudos. They were always available to answer any question or provide any tips during our entire planning process. They made the entire experience truly memorable. My wife and I got married here on October 1st 2016. I can't say enough about the staff. They are so helpful, sharp, and so great to work with. So many people told me they loved the food too. We got married in the Crystal room and they decorated it very beautifully. The service was great, they worked with our DJ, photographer and, videographer great.
