My husband got the sausage gravy, which he liked. He said the flavors were more complex than your usual sausage gravy. My other friend got the French toast which she enjoyed very much. She did ask for extra syrup as she felt it didn't have enough but that's a personal preference of course. All in all we were very happy with our brunch and would come back in the future. It was pretty tender and flavorful with the glaze, and the romesco sauce made the flavors even better. It did get a bit gamey at the end, but I still enjoyed it. The vegetable was a generous amount of various colored carrots, which were thick and a bit crunchy. It had to be cut with a knife, but it was delicious, that the equestrian in me had a happy whinny. For dessert, the suggested cheesecake (9 dollars) was a winner as it was moist and fluffy, providing a sweet end. I saved some for home to enjoy the next day. My bartender was friendly and helpful. It reminded me of being at the nail salon and the employees there speaking to each other (insert Anjelah Johnson nail salon stand up comedy here). This bar has different options including specialty beer, wine and a basic stocked bar with some cocktails. There is usually a specialty cocktail of the month or quarter or event happening as well. I usually pick either a specialty beer or make a cocktail with the liquors they have. My wife usually chooses the specialty drinks. We have always enjoyed the drinks at this bar. Some of their drinks are pre batch made but for batch-made drinks, they are not terrible and still pack a nice little punch. Recently we ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita, which was originally designed to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American cultures. This was meant to be a limited time drink and it is still available, but I have no idea for how long. It is really good, one of the better drinks we have had.
