The Italian sub I ordered was incredible, loaded with fresh meats and topped just right. My wife got the turkey and avocado and she couldn't stop saying how amazing it was. The service was excellent, quick and welcoming with a smile the whole time. The atmosphere is easygoing and cheerful, a fun little spot to grab a bite. You get a hearty sandwich for a really fair price, which always makes it better. We're definitely coming back! read more

We were looking for a good sandwich shop. The inside is decorated with records, books, guitars, chairs on the ceiling. It was very eclectic and nice. Service was good. We ordered at the counter and they were out of sweet potato fries, cranberry walnut bread, no blue cheese. She gave us very little ice and we ask someone else for an extra glass partially filled. They wouldn't accept my $100 bill. There was a full house with plenty money in the drawer. But we used a credit card for more money and less tip. The chicken salad was dry and had no pecans in it. The potato salad was a little bland. My buffalo chicken wrap had maybe a 1/4 of a chicken breast in it. It was a good wrap but lots of lettuce and wrap. Poor management. read more

I selected this restaurant based on Yelp reviews. The interior was very interesting. It has a retro decor with furnishings from the 60s. The menus were printed on labels on long-play vinyl records. They have both inside and outside seating areas. Customers order at the counter and receive a stanchion to place on their table. When ready, staff delivers the food to the customer's table. They have a small but decent selection of craft beer. As their name suggests, they feature sandwiches. I had one of their specialty sandwiches, their Cubanesque. For my side, I chose the jalapeño slaw. Both the sandwich and slaw were excellent. I recommend this restaurant and will likely return. read more

Not worth it to fight for the two spaces that are on the street and closer. As a vinyl record collector, It's really cool you can buy vinyl records there, and I feel like the core idea is strong, but the ambiance is a bit strange, and the food is nothing to write home about. I feel as if this is one of those establishments that attempt to attract repeat guests due to ambiance, yet it just isn't there, nor is the food (unlike Yellow Dog Eats, which accomplishes both great food and ambiance). During the workweek, I meet my friend for lunch at Pammie's Sammies to get away from the office and enjoy a little downtime. Pammie's offers such a fun, welcoming environment for its customers. There's indoor and covered outdoor seating. I love so many of their menu choices. I like to try different things, but I also have my favorites that I keep going back to. They serve breakfast all day, so my favorite sandwich is the Mr. Big. It's a BIG wrap filled with eggs, their delicious hashbrown casserole, fried bologna, bacon, and cheese. Sometimes I'll eat the whole thing, and sometimes I'll take half home for another morning. I've tried the Who's Your Daddy sandwich, which is fried bologna, but I prefer the Mr. Big if I'm going that route. The Who's Your Daddy has crushed Frito chips on it, and I've never been a fan of those. So I'm glad there's another option if I want to go old school and have fried bologna. Another favorite dish is the Tree Hugger -- a veggie burger. It's flavorful and has a little bit of a kick. Then there's The Tommy, another vegetarian favorite -- mozzarella, tomatoes, spinach and pesto. You can get it hot or cold. Hot is definitely the way to go. It makes the bread and all of its ingredients all that more flavorful. The French Dip was delicious, too, when I was in the mood for roast beef. It comes with a dipping sauce, which is always fun and tasty. On my last visit, I tried the Patty Melt for something new. Usually Patty Melts come well done, but I was asked how I wanted my burger cooked -- always medium rare. It came out perfect, and was so flavorful and juicy. Yet another dish to add to my rotation. I have yet to branch out beyond the sandwich options, but maybe someday I will. There's pizzas, salads, and breakfasts, too. The sandwiches all come with a side, and the side choices are amazing. My favorites are the aforementioned hashbrown casserole, tater tots, sweet potato fries, mac & cheese, chips, salad, soup, etc. The hashbrown casserole, tater tots, and sweet potato fries are my favorites. I love that there are so many side item choices beyond the typical chips or fries at other restaurants. I've even taken my mom to Pammie's when she's been in town. The sides are so good that she just likes to get two side items. They're more than enough for her and sometimes too much. When ordered separately, the sides are very large. I wanted to love this place but it missed the mark... My all time favorite sandwich is a Rueben so when I saw it on the menu I was in. Unfortunately, their version is served with mustard on the bread not the usual thousand island style dressing and there was nothing to substitute except blue cheese and it just was not the same... Also, the corn beef is advertised as house smoked but it tasted like store bought thin sliced deli. For the price the sandwich was small and not stacked with its ingredients so it left me wanting more and something different. Luckily the beer on draft was local, cold and tasty! read more

Delicious and tasty lunch for me. I tried out the spicy chicken quesadilla as per the suggestion of the friendly staff. It was delicious and filling served with side of sweet potato fries. Which I am thankful I got to try since they ran out of sweet potato fries not too long after I ordered. The chicken wasn't spicy to me at all but was moist and filled with cheese, black beans, peppers and onions. The seating is tight inside but there is seating outside with umbrellas for those warm Florida days. I'd be willing to come back again and try other menu items. read more

My bf had heard about this spot recently on a radio interview with a local foodie mentioning it as one of her favorite sandwich places. We'd made a mental note, but had kind of forgotten until we went to Winter Garden today for the farmer's market and happened to part right by it! The French dip tasted great especially with the yummy au jus. I loved my quesadilla. It was not very spicy in my opinion, but had good flavor and lots of filling packed into a crisp tortilla. The interior is super cool, filled with instruments and the menu is the cover of record players. I wish they had more breakfast/ brunch options. Regardless we had salads and it was delicious. The service was a bit slow even though it wasn't busy but it was a nice day and we just chilled outside. Their orange juice is NOT really fresh squeezed, it's $4.5 in a tiny cup which was disappointing. I did mention it to them and they said it was a mixture of fresh squeeze and concentrate. Ordered take out from them on a rainy Saturday. The order said it would be 20 minutes until the order was ready. I arrived at 22 minutes past my order placement time and my order was waiting for me. I only live 5 minutes via vehicle from her and where i got home the tater tots and sweet potatoes fries were cold. I'm guessing that our order was done in 10 min and sat on the counter until I got there for pickup. We ordered a turkey club on sough dough with sweet potatoes fries. The bacon was great - nice and crispy (we also ordered it that way), the three little pigs sandwich (tater tots were cold but the sandwich was good overall), and the southwest chicken salad(dressing tasted like it was home made and had just enough heat). I was told to try the chicken salad sandwich and although it was good it was a little too heavy on the mayo for me. Things that are a little tough: - parking (very limited spots next to the actual shop so you will need most likely park in the garage nearby) - service is SLOOWWWW. I was kind of surprised how long it took to make two sandwiches. It was a Friday afternoon (around 11:30am) so maybe that just happens to be a busy time?
