They knew who I was when I called, returned my calls promptly and very accommodating of my busy schedule spreading the installation over three spaced days at my request. I needed a very particular shade of carpeting to match the wall colors and they were extremely supportive of my taking home endless samples to try under different light. The installation went wonderfully. They came exactly on time each day. They moved the heavy furniture and even replaced the dust ruffle and remade the bed when finished! They remembered exactly where each piece of furniture went and they were extremely careful with some very large heavy pieces. They cleaned up after each day. Kudos to Bobby, Jerry and Henry the installers. It was clear that they took great pride in doing a perfect job. They did three bedrooms, three complicated walk in closets, a hallway and stairs with as little disruption to our lives as possible.

(I did not discuss this with the company because I was sick of the project, so in fairness they were unaware but likely in my experience of them-would have fixed it) This is a bit of a doozy, The primary feedback I will leave you with is that they will not leave your job until it is completed to your satisfaction. My project was tile and hardwood in 6 separate spaces. I had a project that was to be completed in 1.5 weeks and due to many factors, it didn't get completed for a few months. The initial men that were at my job site were absolutely terrible- vaping in my home, taking long breaks, showing up late-leaving early, broke a light and I believe stole materials from my job (not confirmed). They were eventually terminated but not before they made my job a nightmare. I had to be very diligent checking on them, asking questions, taking photos and being very assertive about my needs and the damage the workers did to my job including damaging brand-new floor they laid down. Additionally, there had to be high level of communication which was difficult as there were many people to communicate with and the message often was distorted in the end. The second person they hired to complete my tile project was professional but had several personal issues that I believe disrupted the handywork, but the supervisor came in many times to ensure that my difficulties, issues and overall satisfaction was addressed. He wasn't willing to leave my project until I was happy with the work. He was professional. I would also add that I had to be on the phone with the team many times, and although I know they were likely sick of hearing from me- the office staff and workers were always kind, respectful and willing to address any need I had. I would return to their business, with a bit of caution due to those initial workers but I would return.

They thought it was enough that they didn't charge me for the redo. But they did charge me to ruin my rug. Businesses like this are based on trust. They blew that and I will not use them again, nor will I recommend them. Make sure you don't really care about your rug before you give it to them.

After 15 years as a customer, I am done. I dropped off a rug for cleaning on 11/5 and didn't get it…read moreback until 12/23, nearly seven weeks later. I was told it would be ready for pick up in 2 weeks. I called repeatedly in that time asking when it would be ready and was told it was "in the drying room" and I should call back to see when it would be ready. I called again and each time was told it was being "cleaned again" or in the drying room. Upon pick up I was told it was cleaned five separate times, which caused irreversible damage. It was not dirty enough to be cleaned twice, never mind 5 separate times. The rug was returned with unraveling edges, failed binding, and curling corners. It was in good condition when dropped off. It is now ruined. Completely unusable. This is not normal wear; it is the result of improper cleaning practices. I called to speak to the owner to see what could be done about destroying my rug. The new owner told me he "Planned to do NOTHING about it" and to come pick it up. The business is under new ownership and whatever standards existed before are clearly gone. If you were a long-term customer like I was, be warned: the quality and care are no longer there. I regret trusting them with something I can't replace.

While we did explore searching for samples at several locations, the final decision was made to purchase from Ballston Carpet and Tile because we had narrowed down our possible choices to three - all of which were sold by BC&T. We were very pleased with Craig who assisted my wife in understanding the differences in the fabrics, their wearability, the anticipated delivery times, and who tolerated our slow decision making and the amount of time we held samples at home trying to make a final decision. Craig also kept us apprised of the manufacture's production schedule. The fellow who came to the house to determine the measurements was not only friendly, but also very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge regarding proper installation methods and wear. With his input we were able to arrange to include two scatter rugs from the same bolt of carpet to be ordered. Finally, the installer, Justin, was friendly, and did a very professional job of removing the old carpeting and installing the new carpeting. We are very happy that we chose Ballston Carpet and Tile to do this project and have no reservations with recommending them to others.
