No problem parking on this visit in January. The dining and bar area had maybe four other parties when we arrived at 1 p.m. We probably didn't need to have made a reservation, but it was better to have been safe than disappointed. The bartender was assigned to serve our table and informed us of three delicious sounding soups that were available - Italian Wedding, French Onion, and the third that none of us tried. Instead, water, Cola ($3), and a winter warming Chatham - Oh Snaps! ($8) were our appetizers. The Oh Snaps brown ale was smooth and flavorful with its addition of cinnamon and ginger. My Smash Burger ($16.99) was served on a fresh bun with two patties, American cheese, sauteed onions, lettuce, tomato, and their house "birdie sauce." I opted to upgrade my side to onion rings for $3. I was not asked how I wanted my burgers cooked and they came out medium by my judgement. Overall, the combination of all the flavors was good. The onion rings appeared to be made inhouse and were tasty. My fellow diners were very pleased with their Club sandwich ($16.99) and Fried Chicken Sandwich ($16.99). Portions were large enough that each of my friends brought half of their lunch home. There is a nice view through the glass doors leading to the raised deck overlooking the golf course. Service was pleasant and efficient.

It's beautifully renovated with a great view…read more The staff are looking at their phones and the bartenders are sloppily dressed -think: annoyed college co-eds that woke up too late to change out of their kinda dirty sweat pant / pj combos. The whole vibe is relaxed marina chic/barista-snobs serving elevated lake-side pub fare. The food is creative but underwhelming. The beef bulgogi was acceptable. The lobster roll was bleh/meh. Let's be honest though...You're not really going here for food. You're going here to look at the lake and be seen. On a nice day, the wait times are long and the staff are somehow smugly happy to tell you that you have to wait. Overall.....It's fine. Really. It's fine. Go here. Just don't expect amazing food or attentive service and you won't be let down.

The experience was weird from the start. When we walked in before a couple, we were asked table or bar outside, but as we were thinking the host interrupted to say she was going to sit the couple behind us first. It was awkward, not that busy, and her coworkers also were surprised she said it that way. Moving on from that we got Miami Vices, they were good no complaints. Out server Noah was very attentive as well. Nashville fries just alright (prefer the Buffalo ones at Druthers), and the calamari was dried out and not good. They'll stay open because the location not the food.

Overall 4.5 Stars 5…read morestars: *Nice, cozy country style interior setting *Friendly, efficient, attentive service (Greta was top notch.) Never had to ask for water refill. *Reasonable prices on lower end considering quality and quantity of food *Descriptive menu! Separate page of Specials for day. *Variety of desserts available *Basket of delicious apples available at door My daughter and I stopped for lunch at 12:30 for lunch. We were amazed at the prices for salmon. $15.95 Our choices from among all the tempting offerings: --Black and Blue Steak Caesar Salad - Steak was plentiful and tender! OUTSTANDING flavor and value! $17.95 Check out photo. --Fish and Chips - Fresh Haddock was battered in a light coating. Fries were shoestring size and crispy. I would have preferred larger size fries. Coleslaw was fresh but had little savory flavor or seasonings. Seafood sauce was unusual. It was chunky with horseradish but not too strong as expected from the amount of horseradish in it. It had minimal ketchup. It was good but not great. --Tiramisu to share was a little too boozy for our taste. However, the Mascarpone cheese based cream filling was delicious. $7.95 Ordered a Cheeseburger for my Grandson and fries on a Kaiser Roll to go. It was excellent. Only $10.95! Gave waitress/server a 30% tip! I wish the restaurant was closer so I could go more often and possibly order takeout too.

I brought my mother and her friend to Ripe Tomato because we had always spoken highly of it, and her friend had never been there before. Unfortunately, it turned into an embarrassing experience after all the praise we gave it. My mother ordered the pot roast, which was supposed to include carrots and rolls. The meal arrived without the carrots, and when I politely asked about them, the bus girl rolled her eyes at us. The carrots finally came after my mother was basically finished eating, and the rolls never came at all. Our friend ordered the Haddock Almondine, which was missing the mashed potatoes that were supposed to come with the meal. Again, attitude when we asked about it. To top it off, I never received a place setting when we were seated, and when I asked for one, the same bus girl slammed it down on the table. I do want to say the waitress herself was pleasant, and I understand restaurants can be short-staffed and mistakes happen. Missing items can be corrected. Rude behavior and dismissive attitudes toward customers are a different story. What disappointed me even more was that I attempted to bring these concerns directly to management privately before posting a public review. I sent two polite emails explaining the experience, and both were met with complete silence -- not even the courtesy of an acknowledgment or response. A little professionalism and customer service would have gone a long way.

Bread is from a local bakery and worth ordering. The hamburger comes highly recommended but I tried the pasta special which was excellent. My wife love her halibut but my daughter who is vegan didn't love her cauliflower entree. The hazelnut tart was exceptional. The restaurant is cozy and has a good ambiance. I was looking for a restaurant to go when we were in Saratoga Springs in this restaurant looked…read morelike it had a really good menu so we decided to go there. I requested to sit at the chef's table because I really do like to see what's going on in the kitchen and our reservation is at 7:15 and we arrived a half hour early and we're able to be sat so that was nice. We were greeted by one of the servers in the restaurant and then shortly after another came by and asked if we wanted still or sparkling water and that our server would be there with us in a second. It took a little bit longer for our server to come by and he took our drink orders. The line chef started to realize that our server was taking quite a while so we asked us what he wanted him to start so that he can relay it to our server when he got around to us, and I thought that was very nice and great that he recognized that we were waiting for quite a while. Our server finally came back with our drinks and asked what we wanted to get started and we told him that they already started our appetizers. He also didn't come back for quite a while after that and he finally asked us what we wanted for dinner and he didn't ask how the food was or anything. He just said OK cool and put in our food order. When we got our actual entrée, I had the New York strip steak and my husband had the scallops and they were very good. We ordered those entrées because the line chef said they were good and we wouldn't be disappointed and we were not. Our server finally came back around after everyone else buster plates and asked if we wanted anything for dessert and we already made up our mind what we wanted. I ordered the coconut rice pudding and my husband ordered the pistachio cheesecake. Both of those were also very good highly recommend them if you have room at the end of your meal. Our server then came back with our bill and just randomly said he took off one of our desserts because of the weight which was nice but he didn't really acknowledge anything else. We thought it was very odd but also we were happy about that. This restaurant was very good and I think the staff is very in tuned to what's going on in the restaurant if something is not as it should and they communicate to others if they need to start food for people or accommodate other people's needs so that's the only reason that I'm giving it a 4 because the server we had wasn't great but the food and everything else was awesome.

Typical brewery setup with an inviting outdoor area, and ample indoor seating space with TV's near the bar to enjoy live sports and good beer! Our table tried a few of their beers, Saratgoa Vibes being the favorite. Food order consisted a pretty cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip ($17), Parmesan and Rosemary House Fries ($12), and Mexican Street Corn Dip ($16). Nashville Hot Chicken & Pickle ($23) was a good portion of pizza to share amongst 4 adults. Grilled Veggie ($17) on their house baguette lacked seasoning. They were just grilled veggies and the chimichurri couldn't add much taste to it. Can definitely use improvement.
