    Cold brew

Came in here on a Sunday morning to get some work done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was surprisingly crowded for a little neighborhood spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They had parking along the street and in the dirt in front of the shop. I had to wait on line a bit to order. Service was very friendly. I got a cold brew and a guava cheese toast, both of which were a little pricy, but nothing unexpected for the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seated was also tough considering the crowd, I wouldn't recommend coming with a group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee was very good, guava cheese toast was so so for the price considering it was just melted cheese on Cuban bread with guava sauce. I did come back a few weeks later and got the steak burrito, which was excellent. Overall, I like this spot and would come back. Just prepare as it does get busy on the weekends.

Bought beans to take home for my first time, and so glad I did! The Lab has my favorite beans in Tampa and now I get to make them at home in St. Pete!

This coffee shop was one of the best I've tried in a while. Wish I lived in Florida! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor and vibe was so cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employees were SO chill and nice. Our lattes were all done very fast. I got a cinnamon roll which was SO yummy - I haven't had a big vegan one like that in forever. Their pastries looked tasty too! As for coffee I got an oatmilk caramel latte which was perfectly sweet and balanced.. I appreciate that they make their syrups in house too. Fantastic coffee and if I were a local I'd be here all the time. Absolutely recommend.

5 Stars for seriously good coffee and a breakfast bagel sandwich that impresses! First thing I noticed is how friendly the staff is here. No pretentious or bored folks behind the counter. They helped me decide on the single origin espresso with my cortado and it was fantastic. I got one iced and then another hot one for the road. My girl, Sky, told me I couldn't miss out on the breakfast bagel sandwich with Asiago bagel and she was not overhyping it. It's decadent and exactly what I needed after a spin class! The bagels are made in-house and I wish I'd bought more to take home! Overall, a new favorite when I'm in Tampa!

My sister and I stopped by this weekend for a coffee run and I'm so glad we did. The first thing to note is that the bagels are amazing! We ordered a plain and everything bagel, but they also sold jalapeño cheddar and asiago bagels. I love that the bagels are made in-house and baked fresh daily. My sister ordered an iced vanilla latte, and she enjoyed her drink. Despite being a non-coffee drinker, I definitely see myself returning to this spot for their baked goods and friendly staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is both indoor and outdoor seating at this location and limited parking out front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the cozy and chill vibe of this local coffee shop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Steak burrito was good, the latte...was ok.[[HIGHLIGHT]]But the outside seating area reminds construction site or dumpster; it has potential.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Rise and shine! I was there around 8am and the joint was jumping! It was amped-buzzy-as caffeinated as its menu. Yeah, there's a gym next door... yeah, most of the clientele is young... yeah, it was the pre-work crowd... and really busy... so all of that contributes to the "up and at 'em" vibe. But it's also the staff, they're going hard and happy. The location is also part of it. It's in a rejuvenated area of town. It's go-go in the mo-mo (morning).., and if you're dragging, you'll leave here wagging. There's a full menu here. I meant to get Cuban toast but for some reason, ordered an Asiago jalapeño bagel. The bagel was good-it brought the heat. The hot chai tea latte was pretty... but not my favorite. It seemed a little watery to me, but that's just my taste. No matter, there are lots of other things to try. And I will definitely be back. I want to sample more of the menu-and soak up more of that productive high energy feel. I was ready to conquer when I left! You can park in the few spaces out front-and I heard one of the staffers say you can also park in the gravel lot, on the west side of the gym next door. Happy days!

Stopped by to try out The Lab while on vacation. Staff is super friendly. The breakfast sandwich was BOMB, I would order sausage vs. bacon next time though. I got an iced vanilla latte with almond milk! I do wish they had SF options, but still amazing!

Love this place! Came here about a year ago, and finally came back to try out them out again. Just as awesome as it was the first time. Coffees imported from different countries. Small twists on some local favorites, make the biggest difference and set you apart. My favorite food item is sausage, egg, and cheese on either Cuban bread or the jalapeño Asiago bagel...chefs kiss. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a smaller space than most coffee shops and parking is a bit limited, but it's worth going to over the larger chain coffee shops.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside there is seating and outside there is addition seating in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cool lab like/brewery that just makes you want to come back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The folks at the counter are all super nice and helpful. Love this place on a weekend just rolling out of bed and getting a good breakfast

Long line on a Saturday morning but line and service were both very quick. Limited seating inside for small groups (2-4 per table) and picnic tables out back. Seating seemed to turn over easily. Pour over coffee was great!! I got it black and it had really nice flavors on its own. The eggs in the pressed Cuban were a little rubbery but I would be interested to try their other food offerings.

Come here if you love cold brew!! They had two brew options with different flavor undertones, which told me everything I need to know- they take their cold brew seriously! It was fairly priced and had a loyalty program based on visit counts. Service was so quick and I loved the darker pirate decor. Definitely one of the best options that i've tried in Tampa so far and will absolutely be coming back!

Waiting in line was kinda fun because they have a few things to look at such as their roaster where they make their own beans which is pretty cool. I ended up buying a bag of their beans and it also comes with a free black or americano coffee. Or if you don't want an extra cup you can add an extra shot for free into a drink you bought. Ordered the strawberry matcha and honey shaken espresso. The matcha is super good and it definitely makes my list of matcha places. The coffee was good but since there were three shots, my husband drank it cause it was too strong for me. Also got the breakfast sandwich was was a bit spicy but SO GOOD!! It's got a lot of flavor! They allow cute doggos in the place so it's fun seeing them come in lol Parking is not the best as you either park in the garage or the one directly across from sparkman which is paid so expect to add that in your coffee trip. This place is worth the visit.

Overall they were flavorful. One of the times I feel they didn't make it right and it was bitter and not enough milk. That's one of the 5 or so coffees I had here. Then I had one almond croissant and one baklava croissant. I'd say the baklava once was great with the flavor seemed to be baked in. The almond one was also fine but had more evident paste spread on it.

They gave me the wrong latte which actually tasted really good (I didn't even realize they did) but then was given the latte I ordered and it tasted burnt. Honestly, the whole experience just kept getting worse and the customer service isn't amazing (I'm not a picky person about customer service). Rather just go to a coffee shop that is less complicated. This place is super cute though so if you need IG pics definitely give it a try.

However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. I've brought people coffee from here, and each person has agreed that it's some of the best we've had in Tampa recently. The ambiance is interesting - it's in a kitchen store. But it works! Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.
