this starbucks experience just reminded me why I totally enjoy local coffee shops so much more. The barista was so rude, made my drink completely wrong. I went order a vanilla cream cold brew, with lav cold foam, light ice. I went to grab my order and noticed there wasn't any cold foam, I asked her was there cold foam and she was like no and ask the barista to fix my drink and get my pup cup. The guy with frown on his face poured out half my drink and loaded it was cold foam. The drink comes w a SPLASH of sweet cream, btw. it looks like a whole latte with HALF of it the cold foam. Local companies just have an appreciation for making coffees and customer satisfaction while THIS starbucks in particular is running like a factory and there's no quality control over individuals drinks. I wasted my money, if I could take it back I would have and I've been to this Starbucks multiple times, I'd prefer there typical long wait with a perfect drink than a drink made in three minutes, but completely wrong and no care in the world from the barista. read more

The service here is consistently slow. I placed a mobile order then went through the drive through for pick up. It took 32 minutes to get through the drive through. It was too late to cancel since I already paid and was stuck in the drive through. Absolutely insane. I've placed mobile orders and went inside to pick up my order and it's the same, very long wait times at this location. If they are that understaffed they should consider disabling mobile orders during peak hours and make people order via the drive through or inside so the staff aren't overwhelmed with all these orders. read more

This location was packed. I have been here a few other times and I was pleased with today's v My Caramel Macchiato was the perfect temperature and tasted great. My daughter liked her Iced Latte and Bacon Gouda as well. They seemed to have a system in place to handle the Sunday rush in the bezt possible way. The barista who made my drink was friendly and stayed professional and polite in spite of an angry, slightly rude , customer who was being unrealistic. My husband and I have been going to this Starbucks pretty much daily during the last 3 years. Despite how busy this specific location is, the staff always remains kind, calm and on top of the orders. If ever they do get an order wrong, they handle things well. This location gets a lot of foot traffic and frankly the customers are nasty with how they don't clean up after themselves, yet the staff diligently keeps it as clean as possible. A Starbucks on an island, in a way. You have plenty of businesses on one side of Big Bend Road, yet not the other. The benefit- Starbucks gets the attention a Dunkin or small coffee shop normally would. Good customer service on the inside, yet this location is so popular that you will easily see 20-25 cars backed all the way out onto the road due to the drive-thru being overwhelmed. The solution? Park your car at the adjacent bank, walk over into the inside of the store, and pick up your order with almost no wait. Seriously, this location may have 8 baristas behind the bar, yet 6 of them are dedicated to make drinks for the drive-thru patrons. Overall, not a bad location. Just be patient in getting your drink order if you like 20-25 minute drive-thru wait times. read more

Watched each employee take their sweet time making one drink at a time. Just watched an employee walk out and say, "I'm out of here! Good luck!" This Starbucks is okay. It smells overwhelmingly of mold though. One of the best parts about Starbucks is when you walk in and the coffee aroma punches you in the face. Imagine my disgust when I breathed deep and got no such warm welcome. Blegh. Anyway, the service was very fast and friendly. My flat white is not the best I've ever had. I think the espresso is pulling too much water, or maybe it's not hot enough. It's not bad enough to return and have them remake though. Hubs' triple chocolate mocha frappuccino is freakin' delicious, but I don't know how you could mess that up other than using spoiled milk. It is just a really good drink (or calorie bomb, whichever). They've yet to get even my most basic of orders right (iced black coffee), and when I do order specialty coffees, they suck. I ask for extra espresso every time and even though they'll charge me for it, they rarely add it. Specialty Lattes? They'll taste like mostly milk. Service is also mediocre. Starbucks is my favorite coffee place and this location is always popping! I usually attempt to mobile order just because the location is crammed into a small shopping plaza and there isn't a whole lot of room for drive thru traffic but it works! When I've mobile ordered it's always been ready quickly, when I go through the drive thru it's usually packed but moves fairly quickly and the employees take multi-tasking to a whole new level! I don't know how Starbucks finds such amazing employees for each location, and I mean that I have literally never went to a Starbucks with bad employees, but they knock it out of the park! I spend plenty of time here but the service varies on the time of the day. Morning hustle is always extremely busy and sometimes slow. Afternoon is pretty fast but most people working not in the best moods. I can't complain about the coffee always deliciously made. The spicy chorizo is probably my favorite and my caramel macchiato I wouldn't change for the world. My drink order is pretty simple (iced coffee, light ice), but it's been screwed up in pretty amazing ways. It's had hazelnut, extra ice, regular sweetener, and various milks put into it. If you count two drink errors in one trip, I've actually had my drink made wrong more times than I've even been there! Also, the morning people have a habit of calling everyone "Steve." I walked through the door, and was greeted with a "hi Steve!" I figured they just thought I was someone else, until they greeted my friend who came in right behind me ("hi Steve!") and then the woman behind us ("hi Steve!"). He told us he couldn't refund the order. If I can't get my order right or my money back, what is the point. Yesterday the same thing happened. This is by far the WORST Starbucks I have ever encountered. Honestly, I'm more disappointed in myself for continuing to attempt to patronize this particular location. I came this morning, through the drive thru, at around 10:15 and ATTEMPTED to order my usual...a venti caramel mocha frappucino and the employee taking the order responded..."what do you mean?" No one, employed at a Starbucks, has ever asked me that question; not even at this incompetent location, until today. Needless to say, I drove off without a drink. I didn't think it could get any worse than them giving you a drink with the contents spilling over, and you having to ask for napkins. I've had to ask for napkins every single time I've gone to this location. Or, coming through the drive thru on my way to work in the morning, watching the barista sit my drink on the counter, just to watch Carol walk pass it 8 times, as opposed to giving it to me (without napkins of course.) I drove off without a drink this particular morning as well. I don't know, maybe it's the universe's way of telling me to cut back on my sugar consumption. So we came in for a slice of chocolate loaf and a latte .... instead of sitting down to a delicious piece of chocolate-loaf...we get a hard stale piece of cake .... as I return to the counter I see the display piece of chocolate cake is missing .. and I ask the employee "did you take this out of the display case... and she replies " yes but I touched it to make sure it was ok.... of course I flip out .... the sign clearly says inside the case that those things are for display purposes only. Those things can be in there for days at a time. And she says to me this one was not that old .... I respond well those sandwiches in there look like they have been in there for weeks so I'm sure they are bacteria ridden and could certainly cross contaminate ... I had my $3.16 returned but how absolutely GROSS And then, I see the other young lady eating in the coffee station ... literally hand to mouth... and then without washing her hands she starts making someone's coffee order. :( read more
