It carries the same type of stock as any grocery chain but on a smaller scale. The market has a sandwich deli to order fresh sliced sandwich meats and custom sandwiches. But I got a "beef" with them. All these years I was not told that with my sandwich order, I can get a free fountain drink or bottled water. What the hey?!? The deli counter person nor the cashier ever told me. Not until my last visit a few weeks ago. The cashier was great, she even asked a runner to grab me a bottled water. But he came back to say they were out. Seriously?! It's a grocery store ... no bottled water? Sure. Good grief. I would have taken a room temp bottle. Not really vibing with Holiday Market anymore.

The prices are fantastic. Check the expiration dates. Find cool stuff you have never heard of. I come here for groceries when I am visiting my son who lives nearby. We have a new one, that is bigger but very impersonal and I find some of the prices higher for some of the things I buy regularly. I have been shopping at the Broadway location for over 4 years, and most of the time I find everything I'm looking for, and new things to try. This location is further from me than the new location in town, but I prefer to take the trip to this Broadway store. My only negative comment about it, is that unfortunately, as all CW's, the inconsistency of the products they offer. I hope they continue providing the same quality of service and products.

The apple barn smelled amazing, and we got to try a bunch of apple slices. I had never tried a mutsu apple or Arkansas black apple before and both were delicious and interesting. Mutsu is a golden delicious bred with a granny smith and the Arkansas black is thicc in texture/skin and sort of has a caramel sweetness to it. We liked sitting outside at the picnic tables and playing PoGo. Thought about heading over to the museum to look around but there was a hat cultist inside so neither of us felt like spoiling our day with that kind of aura iykyk. Maybe next time. You know what they say about one bad apple. Leave it on the ground, the rest will be just fine. Extra parking across the street but be so careful crossing the street. I did not notice any vegan options to confirm either way, but they do have many vegetarian friendly snack and meal options. Prices are reasonable for the area. It's more than just a market. Yes, they have the usual grocery and sundry items, but they also have clothes. Souvenirs. Some hardware items. Fishing and camping gear. They have a decent hot and cold deli, and they also do espresso drinks. I stopped by the deli, and I decided to have the pastrami on provolone with rye bread. It also came with the usual fixings, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and Dijon mustard.. I got my sandwich and took it out front to enjoy the nice day. The sandwich was huge! They were very generous with the pastrami, all of the Fixin's played very well with the pastrami, and I loved that rye bread. The bread didn't hold up to the sandwich perfectly, it was falling apart, just a little bit, but hey. It happens. It was just an absolutely excellent sandwich. I was going to stop at half, but it was so good, I finished the whole thing, and waddled away. The price for this great sandwich and a soda was extremely reasonable. I love Trader Joe's, but I don't go very often so I like to pop in when I have the chance! They had a wide range of beautiful flowers so we picked up a few bundles to make our own bouquet. I finally picked up a jar of their Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste that I kept seeing - I tried it in my coffee and it was so good! The ambiance at a Trader Joe's is always the same - well stocked and organized. I even like that they display their different items out in front and they also clearly mark new items. During this recent trip, they had a display for their different Ube items. Service is always friendly at the check out lines! I'll be back soon!
