I loved seeing their bulk spices, nuts, teas and candy options! Their butcher shop and fish section looked very fresh and can we talk about their massive cheese selections!? I was very impressed and they even had my favorite coffee for sale which is hard to find - the Blue Bottle Nola milk cartons. One particular recent visit (to organize mom's house! home edit anyone?) I had just taken my cat to the vet for a routine check up in Folsom, so I wanted to get on the road right after. About halfway into the drive up, started to smell either a bad fart or my poor kitty had gotten car sick....and sure enough, she had pooped under the seat. Poor thing. Must've felt like a boat ride in choppy waters. She was fine and luckily enough, we arrived soon after, but I decided to stop here just before Mom's to see if they carried any of those pet friendly enzyme odor fighting chemicals. Found one that is pet safe, organic, and plant based so a few spritz of that, we were good to go. What I did notice here is that the market is well kept, smelled clean (always a good sign), pretty well organized, I was able to find everything I was looking for despite not being familiar with the general store layout. Staff were friendly too. I would definitely stop here again. Even the Deli looked yummy! Might get a fresh sandwich to go next visit.

Once you add everything to the shopping cart, make sure you edit the substitutions. For some of my items like distilled water, there are no substitutions but you have to specify that. Other items I'm not as concerned such as allowing organic green onions to be substituted for regular green onions if they're out. You have to monitor your cell phone messages if they're wanting to suggest a substitute; otherwise you won't get a substituted item. I wanted a large box of Valentine's chocolate tonight but they were out of stock and suggested a smaller box. I responded on my smartphone that the substitution was fine and that was delivered. The delivery was super fast and within the delivery window they specified. I may continue to use online ordering and delivery even after my recovery. Give it a try! Just make sure you monitor your smartphone messages.

They have eggs precooked in disks and they tear up the backon and add potatoes from the fried chicken section of the deli, and they chop everything up and put it in there oven to melt the cheese and then toast the top. It's definatly hand crafted as they advertize. It's a time consuming process, the making of the burrito and there was a line when we got there. There was a family of two, infront of us getting 3 burritos so there was a wait. Knowing it's hand crafted should take away from your impatience. I'm able to come in here and buy snacks and all the pricing is pretty good. They do have everything that every Safeway has which is really nice. But I still managed to find lots of snacks, including trail mixes and dried fruits, yogurts, and a great selection of reasonably priced salads in the deli. All the food I bought here was reasonably priced and good quality. Checkout times were not bad at all and the staff was friendly. Would definitely shop here again. As an added bonus, there was a lot of covered parking on one side of the building, which was nice because it was simultaneously hot and storming during my visit.

They do make a mean delicious sandwich. Quality bread and fresh fixings. The deli meats are mainly Boar'd Head. They also have fresh made baked potato slices and chicken tenders bagged up and placed in the warmer trays; they are self serve. A bag of potato slices run about $3 and tenders $5-6. In the winter, they offer hot soup as well. The soup is self serve near the self serve coffee station. They even have a Lotto self serve kiosk that sells lottery tickets and scratchers. The parking lot is compact but large enough to maneuver about assuming you're not hauling a boat or any type of trailer. If you are, probably the best bet is to park on the side street.

Have a little patience and you'll be great. The cashiers were kind especially the older gentleman that helped me out. On my way to a memorial for a cousin who lost their life to cancer: Although we had one lady who cut myself and four people behind me everyone was kind about it. See etiquette for lines is to wait for opening so we don't block the walk way. However Karen wanted to walk through us waiting to cut us. I politely told her maam we are all in line with one item at that and she has a basket not a hand one but a cart you push with tons of items. Her leaving her house last minute to be late does not mean It's ok to cut everyone in line. I went next looked behind me and see she has decided to still cut the others two young teens that didn't want to stick up for themselves I want you to know to next time please don't allow someone to cut you. We are equal now if she's elderly and all let her go ahead yes but when someone is downright stealing your place in line that's okay I got fruit for $6 but it was a little frozen cold so it was a little older tasting but for all of this to be handled well I up'd the stars.
