    Iced oatmilk matcha latte
    Crystal B.

Stopped by with my husband to grab some drinks to go. I ordered an iced oatmilk matcha latte - it was solid. My husband got an iced oatmilk hazelnut latte - he said it was good. The cafe felt like a literal hidden gem because of the construction going on at the mall. I'm glad we found this place. It was super cute - service was pleasant - And it always feels great to support a local business!

We stopped by for some coffee enroute to Arizona. The owner was super sweet and made our coffee awesome. We got a dirty chai and iced Carmel macchiato. The owner had a good chat with us and was a very pleasant experience. The coffee was very good, not bitter or burnt at ALL which I've noticed many other places lately have been. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!

POV: you randomly find your new favorite coffee spot Honey lavender latte = actual perfection Stopped by Marathon Coffee and the vibes were immaculate. The owner was so kind, clearly passionate about his craft, and casually a marathon runner?? ‍ which made the whole experience even better. You can just feel when someone loves what they do. Safe to say I'll be back!!

This is a small mom and pop shop located inside the plaza. There's plenty of parking since the shop is huge. There's lots of places to eat nearby as well. Plenty of options for flavoring, with options of milk. The gentleman working was very nice and welcoming! They do have pastries as well. There's seating inside as well as chairs outside. Coffee and pastry was about 8 bucks I think. They have performers on some days. Recommend for good coffee and welcoming vibes.

Iced white chocolate mocha, so yummy!

This place is a hidden gem at Grossmont Center! I can't believe all these years I didn't know of its existence. When you walk in, you're greeted by the nicest man with the friendliest smile, who I believe is the owner. He even remembered my Grandma who had been there a few days prior which was so sweet. It was busy and he was the only one working but it was absolutely worth the wait. I got an iced white chocolate mocha and I watched him meticulously make the drink. It was all fresh pressed and hand stirred. The amount was so generous too, most times the drink is all ice and barely any beverage. This is probably the first time that I could've used a bit more ice, but the coffee was so delicious that I wouldn't want to lose out on that either. The inside is small but has tons of seating and a cute spot for a photo op or to just relax for a moment after shopping. He also had on an interesting video about some people who were running a 300 mile marathon in Arizona, which was entertaining while we waited. I would definitely like to return!

Loved the chocolate chip muffin (semi-sweet chocolate, but more of a biscuit consistency, not sweet, just satisfying). Whether the wait was 5 minutes or 20, we were standing at the pickup counter after receiving a notification that our order was ready, and no one acknowledged us until we spoke up. During a rush, communication still matters. I also want to clarify that I never claimed to have a dairy intolerance or allergy, because I do not. I simply stated that all of us became sick shortly after consuming the drinks and pastry we purchased there. I never claimed to know the exact cause -- only the timing of what occurred. What disappointed me most was not just the experience itself, but the defensive and dismissive tone of the response instead of a more professional acknowledgment of a customer concern. I genuinely wanted to enjoy this place because it is cute and came recommended to me, but unfortunately this was my experience.

I was on my way to church and needed an early cup and was surprised how many shops were not open at 7 AM. I'm sure I could have found a Starbucks but that's always reserved for a last resort. Big props to this spot being open early on a Sunday morning, so I could make it to church prayed up and fully caffeinated. The barista opened right on time (7 AM) I loved how friendly she was for it being that early, and she got me my drink within 3-4 minutes. I am not a big coffee drive-thru guy, but if I lived in the area, especially knowing it is veteran owned, I might become one. Thanks guys and best of luck!

I unfortunately chose the wrong line and got stuck behind this cop who was ordering but also decided to get out and help capture a lost dog which made 3 other cars cut in line ahead of me... the workers were very sweet and noticed I had been waiting and came out right away to help and make sure I got my order taken! The la mesa latte was super yummy and while I'm not the biggest fan of cold foam on lattes this one was pleasantly good! I had also gotten a bagel with cream cheese which I don't believe was toasted and would say that was the only downside but the delicious amount of cream cheese definitely helped.

Recently, I spent some time back in La Mesa and thought I would go back and try this spot out. So much space, friendly staff, reasonable prices, with a bunch of gluten-free and vegan options when it comes to food. Plenty of parking, outdoor seating as well, and even when they were busy, I think I did not wait more than five minutes for my drink.
