It was closed. Called earlier in the day got the recording, no mention of the closure. Bummer.

Great neighborhood bar with live bands most nights. Good food, drinks, smoothies, coffee and desserts. On Weds evenings, Jazz. There's also some great paintings on the walls. Family's friendly. I've seen all ages here enjoying an evening of music entertainment.

As much as I pass this place, I thought it was a game store. Stopped in today with my friend and the food was great!! I had the chicken and waffles and, man... perfectly seasoned and hot! Also had a mocha frappacino which was delicious. I looked at what others ordered, like a salad, an acai bowl, and a variety of other delicious items on the menu. They even have a little local jazz playing on certain nights!! Stop and check them out!!

Event food stations are awesome and food is fresh

This cafe and wine bistro does not disappoint! They have a great selection of beers, wines, smoothies, coffees, expressos, teas, and juices. There is also a food menu and they have delicious pastries, cookies, cakes, etc. Mr. Frank and his team are very customer service oriented. This is a wonderful place to study, watch football, have private event, and just to enjoy a meal or snack. The vibe is great. Events here are max of 50 people. All events that I have attended are wonderful here.

Went in today during lunch. I got a house salad with balsamic dressing and I added chicken. I also ordered an iced red eye coffee. The salad was perfect and delicious. The coffee was just as great. I was going to take my lunch back to work, but the ambiance was just right for a nice relaxing lunch with great background music. I will definitely be back to check out the rest of their menu and fun events that they host.

This place was a nice little surprise find on a Sunday morning! The young lady helping us was very patient and helpful, as this was our first visit here. She even helped me save $1 on my sandwich by ordering from the Sunday brunch menu. My lox, tomato, onions, and capers with cream cheese on an everything bagel was delicious! The bagel was fresh and soft. In all the right ways. All the parts were in tasty harmony. My husband said his egg, bacon, and everything bagel was good too - and the bonus of fresh fruit on the side. The atmosphere is very chill and comfortable, with the accent of fresh yellow roses on each table. I can imagine later in the day/night, especially with live music, this place gets busier but hangs on to that vibe. We'll have to check it out!

Are the acai bowls made in-house or is it premade acai puree?

Our Money Maker Açaí bowls are made from high-quality açaí pure, not premade. We blend the Acai with fresh strawberries, bananas for each order — so it’s always fresh, flavorful, and packed with nutrients.

Both of the options that we got we couldn't put our fork or spoon down because of how tasty it was! The price was reasonable for the amount that you are getting and this was shared for two people and we still had leftovers. The service there is always great. Never had to wait long for anything. There is someone always at the counter to answer your questions or give you advice on what to get. Everyone who works there is always so nice and friendly. The inside is really big! It looks like a living room (hence the name of the place) actual chairs, dining tables and different style of couches and they are all unique in their own way. They also have board games and you can use those to hangout with friends. Their inside closes at a certain time but you can go outside to their patio tables and chairs and continue to hangout there. A place is deceivingly large with plenty of places to sit inside and out. Remind me a bit of one of my favorite places in Los Angeles. And there's so much charm. They even added nuts when I asked for. Definitely recommend this place. Consider parking in the rear if it's available.

I like that the shop isn't extremely cluttered with plants. Just enough that it feels open and bright. You know with nature, you just breathe better. The outdoor seating space is also quite nice. The colors of the tables are pastel pink and pastel yellow-- you can sit in semi shade or shaded area. It's really lovely! To drink, I decided to get one of their specialty lattes-- $7, Iced 12 oz, PEAK SEASON with whole milk. This is an iced blueberry latte with coconut condensed milk. It was so delicious! I would highly recommend this. It wasn't overly sweet either-- which I can appreciate. I highly recommend coming to Ultreya Coffee & Tea! The drinks are superb and fairly priced. It was a little bit louder than I expected, but not horrible. Service was good and friendly. I personally liked the reduced menus options. Gives them a better chance of providing quality over variations. I enjoyed my breakfasts sandwich on a croissant. It seamed fresh and fluffy. My husband had the Benedict, which he enjoyed as well. My favorite thing was the dirty chai. Possibly my New favorite dirty chai. It had great chai flavor that didn't get overpowered by the coffee. We also got an apple strudel. It was delicious, it's was fluffy and gave me the impression it was fresh. Another good point for me was that it wasn't too sweet. If you are in the area, I definitely recommend. I needed a quick coffee to end my day and after searching the best coffee in La Mesa, Red White and Badass Brew was the first to pop up. The owner was super nice-I didn't get his name-and he walked with me through the menu as I haven't had specialty coffee drinks like these before. I went with his recommendation of the whiskey latte (iced) and also decided to try the toasted tan lines (iced) When I tell you, my first sip transported me back to the 2013-2016 era of coffee culture when specialty drinks were first starting to get popular, I am being so serious. Both the whiskey latte and toasted tan lines were full of so much flavor. The toasted tan lines took me straight back to my trip to Kauai in 2013 and the whiskey latte was reminiscent of a latte I would get in middle school from a Brazilian small business. There was just something so nostalgic about these lattes that I had to immediately write a review.
