But wait, this is a gas station review! Read on. Walmart is in bed with Murphy's. You can see them in front of hundreds of Walmart's. How do you take advantage of this? Double-Dip #1- Assuming you patronize Walmart, buy yourself a membership. It will cost you less than $100 and comes with tons of perks including gas discounts at Murphy's. How do you get the $? You tell the gas pump you are Walmart member by scanning a QRC code or punching in a code available on the Walmart app. See my picture. Double-Dip 2- Walmart is also in bed with Capital One. Get yourself a Walmart credit card. It has no fee. Pay for your gas with this card. So how much can you get Steven B? Depending on the deals going on I get at least 10 cents a gallon and sometimes up to 15! This can really add up over a year to some serous $$! Note, I believe the amounts might vary by state. The gas station itself is top notch. Up-to-date pumps and often the best price intown. The convenience store is spotless. I'm changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars!

God Damn it! I had a flat that couldn't be repaired!…read more I decided to try these folks in my little town as they had a good reputation and were not a chain. I love supporting private businesses! Atmosphere- First impressions were not that great as you can see from my pic. Ditto the inside. This appears to be a very old building. Customer Service- Just fine thank you! I was approached instantly, and my car was brought in. Implementation- Yup, the tire couldn't be repaired but they had a replacement. Bim bam boom, in less than an hour I was done at a very fair price! I'm going with four stars instead of five, only because the condition of the building is going to scare some folks away and that a shame!

I tried to get her to come with me, but she refused so off I went. I'm not a used tire guy but in my little town this place is famous for them and the friendliness of the proprietor. It was one of the easiest transactions I'd had in a long while! The tires were in stock, the price incredibly fair and the owner, Pat, was indeed very friendly! The tires were mounted, and I was in and out in about 70 minutes. So, what did I do? I had a long 90-minute lunch. I then returned my friend's car and spun this great completely fictional story. The negotiations were grueling. I lost a pint of blood hammering out the price! I was completely exhausted and needed a nap. So, what did I get? A kiss on the cheek! Oh well! So, how's this for a car detailing experience!…read more I pulled up on a Wednesday with no appointment. An attendant jumps in my car and drives me directly across Main Street to my little towns adult libation emporium. I'd tell you the name, but Yelp gets a little pissy about using other business names in a review. I meet up with friends there and quaff a beverage or two or three. 90 minutes later the owner of AAA showed up with my keys. My beautifully finished car is parked outside waiting for me! $40 + tip and my car was spotless inside and out! Note that the price depends on the size of the vehicle. I've been using them for years and couldn't be happier!

- 10 Star Steller service! -…read more Sooo, I'm in my MickyD's parking lot sipping on my 99-cent breakfast Iced Coffee and my car battery died! As this is a PG rated review, "Oh crap!" I needed a new battery. Customer Service- I called these fine folks, and a very nice employee told me that the owner Matt would be there to help me within 15 minutes! That's right, the owner of a business that's been in operation since 1958 was coming to help! He showed up in less than 15 minutes, jumped my car within seconds, and explained where and how to park my car at his place. Very efficient staff checked me in and took my keys. Ambience- I plunked myself down in a comfortable chair and noticed the very nice couch and flat-screen tv. Within minutes Matt came out and quoted a fair price and said it would be done quickly. Rest Rooms- At one point I headed for the restrooms and laughed out loud and the sign on each door! See my picture. Now I know why the men's room was eat-off-the-floor spotless! I didn't check the lady's room as I didn't want to deal with the screaming that would ensue! Wait Time- In less than 45 minutes my name was called, and I was out the door. That is nothing less than spectacular! My tire pressure light had lit up recently and I noticed that they took care of it without asking. Nice! Conclusion- What I experienced was a Master Class in customer service and professionalism. Ten (10) Stars is not enough!

Walked in with one gentleman at the counter and 3 people behind the counter. Stood there for a couple minutes and the lady asked if I had an appointment, I said no I was hoping to make one and she turned away and went to her computer. I was taken back. Customer sneezed and everyone said bless you and I said "sorry, I don't have the credentials." (Got a laugh from everyone) Stood there another 5 minutes after the only other customer went to sit down. Then I went and sat down. More people came in and I started openly asking who their best competitor is as I've been here for 15 minutes and haven't been helped. Scared me that no one had any recommendations. Then lo and behold I was pointed at and called on. Felt like the price is right and ran to the counter. Asked them who their competitors were as I'm not sure I have confidence that this is the right place for me. They all looked and the lady looked at me and said I didn't know you needed to make an appointment and I said yeah. When you asked I said "no I don't have one but would like to make one" and you walked away. Great costumer service. She was apologetic. But the first impression and confirmation from what my buddy experienced was done. I chose a tire and set up an appointment for an alignment and rotate of tires. But I'm scared if their workmanship is twice as good as their front office staff I would be lucky to have 30% of the lug nuts even on the vehicle when I pick it up. What would you do? I really want to use a local small business. But wow, just wow. I expect this kind of treatment from Firestone or discount tire. Not a locally owned business. And people wonder why local businesses fail.
