We first met Eric when they were used by a local furniture store to deliver a china cabinet that was very delicate. They took great care with the unit and we appreciated that. Later we were in need of help to remove a monster heavy wood entertainment center from an upstairs family room. They got it out of the house without damaging anything. They do other heavy work, so just don't think of them when it comes to moving furniture. read more

Don't Waste Your Money....OLD TRUCK without a lift gate/Liar/Late to Show/One man operation with day labors. Empty Promises/Full of false excuses for NO SHOW(S)/Small beat up truck(barely fit a full size refrigerator) take a long time to load and unload due to old truck without a lift gate and a ramp and size of the truck charges more after showing up. DAMAGED 75" TV but takes no responsibility for loading n unloading mistakes and refuses to show up to access the damage even after promise to come 4 times ( execuses after execuses). From the start their communication is 5 star, their professionalism was a 5 star, their friendliness was a 5 star, their care and protection while moving things in was a 5 star....Eric and his team were such great people to work with and really went above and beyond to get us moved in. They even got rid of all our trash from what they unloaded and put together. I see on Yelp! Unprofessional - Was charged more than twice of what I was quoted after sending a detailed list and showing the house for the move only to be told it was more than expected the day of. Several pieces arrived broken, a variety of items went missing (cords, electronics, work attachments), and I had to fix the flooring they tore up during the move. Overall for the stress and cost, hire actual professionals who will stick to their quote. read more

We were remodeling our house and needed to move all of the furniture out to the garage while the construction was being performed. I called a few movers but was unimpressed by the response I received. When I contacted Marathon, they got back to me within a day with a price and schedule. They showed up right on time and took care in moving my furniture. When I needed to move my furniture from the garage back into the house, I called them again because of the my initial positive experience. Again, they quickly got me a quote and put me on their schedule. Of course, construction schedules are not written in stone and I had to reschedule the move back into the house a couple of times.
