The amazing professional and friendly crew that moved my belongings.
    Suzie W.

AKA Kit The crew exceeded my expectations and they were very efficient and polite. The job went smoothly, and completed the job in less time than was estimated, and I even added a 3rd stop last minute.

One of the worst moving co. experiences I've ever had. Had a pickup scheduled for 6/25. Explained that I am on chemo & need addl Covid precautions. Moving truck arrived with 3 unvaccinated and unmasked movers. Called Peasley office to tell them that I did not feel safe with this crew bc you know I'm on chemo. Dispatcher yelled at me about how the vaccine is 'poison' and then as I was on the phone with her the moving van just pulled away. I was less than a week away from moving cross country. I tried to reschedule the pickup and discovered that they literally have zero vaccinated movers. They finally put a team together one week later of men in their 50s and 60s apparently all front office guys. What I didn't realize is that the one-week delay meant my items didn't get picked up until three weeks later--two weeks after the original date. I checked in often to get a delivery estimate and was told they would arrive on or before 7/20. On 7/19 I contacted them again to ask what time the items would be delivered and then I was told they had just been picked up to travel cross country and there was no delivery window. I finally tracked down the local moving company doing the final delivery and they couldn't fit me in until mid-August. On top of the delay, I had to extend my storage locker rental and find an accessible airbnb for me and my dog past 7/21 but had to do this with one day's notice. I'm disabled and these extra costs are killing me. Also, my own furniture is accessible to my disabilities, and includes a lot of assistive devices. It is almost impossible to find an accessible Airbnb rental in general. I had to pay the local moving company an extra $400 to have my items delivered before I go out of town. Did I mention I'm going through chemo? Please don't patronize this company. Attached is a copy of the email setting my original delivery window. This was hell. I've asked them to help me pay for the unexpected costs and they gave me a 1800 no for Allied claims. And by the way, my $500 desk is destroyed.

This is a closeup of either a badger or some little critter that lives a few units over from us.

Originally as we were moving out of state, we tried one of the national moving companies which we will never do again. As everything is only done over the phone. They wanted half of the quote money up front, did not even have half of our belongings listed and the CU (cubic units) was short, about 1,000 cu. Plus, other issues we will not mention. We felt they lacked proper communication and dealings were not professional from our standpoint. My husband contacted "VALLEY CUSTOM MOVERS" from Nampa, ID and we cannot say enough great things about them. Corey is one of the owners. came to our home and physically walked through and listed everything with us. He listened, answered all our questions and always personally returned all our calls after were gave him the job. Yes, their quote was right on, matched everything we wanted moved and the quote was a very great price for what we needed. His crew did complete packing, loading and storing all belongings in their warehouse until we have a new home out of state. On our job we had 1 owner & 5 crew members and each one of them were very efficient in what they were doing. They each knew what needed to be done. The packing of our home (1,900+ sq ft) home was completed in about 5 hours. The next day it only took them about 2 hours + to load 2 trucks and take our belongings to their warehouse. My husband was thrilled with their professionalism, quality of work and how they each asked questions. To be sure that what was being moved would go into the trucks and items that needed to be left. They are like a one shop move with the same crew packing, loading, storing and delivering our belongings to our new home and setting up all our furniture. They all get an A+ rating from us from Tara in the office to Corey and the other owners and all their crew.

Service request was fast and easy and super affordable. Cody was so customer service friendly and made everything easy. My two movers, Conner and Phabian were friendly, kind, considerate, and down to earth as they come. They were careful with all my stuff( not one thing broken) and super helpful. If I ever had to move again, Valley Custom Moving is definitely my choice. I will be referring all my friends and family to them. Kudos to all you guys

Then I requested another move within a year from same upstairs room to a 2bd apt. The first team was late. About midway into loading the truck, I was told there was a problem with the first team not competently loading their truck fast enough, then causing a SECOND team to show up at the destination. This was going to be betterand faster and should cost about the same as last time. NO. The first team failed me. (One of the team members kept going into the moving truck and taking vape hits. Now, I didn't think too much of that at the time. Thought it might help him enjoy his job better?) ugh. Then I overhear a comment saying "There's so much little stuff." Really? since when do movers bitch...lol So the second team was in and out and done by dark. There was some time where the apt peeps messed up and had to wait, but. Still, I was charged $1650 for this ridiculous move. (I was shocked. I have never in my life paid close to that.) I did make a comment about what it would be to move a house. $20,000? Really? so toss in the bucket fee to these guys. and I tipped them too. will I ever learn. Anyway, Double charged for DOUBLE THE TROUBLE. I will never use them again nor recommend. I am moving next year and happy to try someone else.

During the move, two brand new Google Nest speakers in unopened packing went missing. Two months later I have determined that they did not get to my home. I called Crosstiwn Movers recently to inquire about this. The person I spoke with told me she spoke with two of the four movers about it and they had no knowledge of what may have occurred. She said she would speak to the other two and get back to me, but I have not heard back. I wouldn't just throw this out willy-nilly, but it is evident that the speakers are not in my home as I am 100% unpacked. They are small even in the packaging, and I am left to wonder if they were stolen. In addition, my directions for how I needed items placed into my garage weren't followed. I asked for shelves to be put up against my wall and for open walking rows to be left in between stacks of totes. I had recently had elbow surgery. I had to completely unpack my whole garage by myself in order to re-organize it because the directions weren't followed. I did this with one arm.
