Marbled LA saved my last minute party and did it with elegance and fabulously flavored food! I called just a couple of days prior to a last minute celebration party we decided to host in our home. I called in a panic and Tro was professional, compassionate, and happy to help. He put together the menu for us and the plans were set. We opted for the drop off option and they were at our home right at the time we agreed on. Jace not only "dropped off" the food, he took time to set it up according to the food options, the flow of our guests while filling their plates, and the aesthetic look of the appetizer table. What a professional group! I recently hired Marbled for my 10th anniversary dinner for 32 people. From the start, Tro was extremely responsive (even on vacation!), professional and accommodating. He thoroughly explained all the options he offered and all the services that were available. For the items we chose, his prices were the most reasonable and competitive. We decided on having a sit down family style dinner with passed appetizers during a cocktail hour, and several other courses. He even referred me to a great rental company for my rental items. Last minute we also decided to hire a bartender and Tro found a great one. The day of the event, Tro and all the other staff (chef, sous chef, servers and bartender) arrived on time, nicely dressed and with all the food and equipment. The food was amazing! The short rib was tender and flavorful and the appetizers (arancini, sweet corn agnolotti, and Burrata) were insanely good. I am still getting compliments and guests wanting to know who we hired. I used Marbled LA catering for the fist time and was blown away! I was reluctant to try out a new caterer since I had been using the same one for the last year and a half. I am so glad to have made the decision to try them out. The first time I ordered from Marbled LA, I told Tro that I wanted a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine for 10 people. First, Id like to say, "Wow"! Not only was the presentation spectacular with even the plates/napkins wrapped and prepared in such a beautiful way, but each dish was delicious and had generous portions. I ordered very simple veggies, rice, beef and chicken kebob, tatziki and salad. The meat was delicously marinated, and the rice, veggies and salad were all light and very healthy. My guests loved everything they tasted and were extremely impressed. Working with Marbled was great for a variety of reasons. First, they worked within our pretty tiny budget. We went back and forth many times about ways in which we could cut costs and they offered a lot of different solutions which made me feel like they actually cared about me as a customer, not just the bottom line. The food was great! I was afraid that since we had to cut down due to our budget that the food would suffer, but it absolutely didn't. It was awesome that the food options were so diverse. We ended up getting one of the Indian packages, BBQ, and Italian. They were all great and everyone who we were catering for commented on how good the food was. Last, they had really yummy vegetarian options. Half of our people were vegetarian, and usually the vegetarian option is just a portobello mushroom and feels like an afterthought. Not only were the vegetarian entrees great, but all of the sides were vegetarian friendly as well which was so nice because then it worked for everyone. They were super communicative with us. Tro was our point person and they were great. IMPRESSIVEEEEEE!!! We used marbled for one of our Friday company meeting for over 50 employees, and they nailed it. We got the sriracha kale Caesar, heirloom tomato salad, and ginger sesame coleslaw, plus a bunch of different sandwiches. My favorite was the chipotle chicken Swiss sandwich. Very tasty, fresh bread, and there was no coldcut in the sandwich, it was actually pieces of chicken breast. The company loved the food and the secretary plans on using them weekly. First let me say that good drop off caterers are almost impossible to find. Most caterers drop off food that's cold or burnt. They don't really care about the product. Marbled LA is the opposite. I've had two experiences with them and I'm so impressed. The first event had mixed results as far some of the side dishes. Ingredients were missing in a few salads. Marbled reached out the day after the event and I let them know of small issues. What happened next is the best customer service response I have seen from a vender. Immediately they offered to make it right and cater another event. They were so easy to work with and went above and beyond what they needed to to make it right!!! The food for the second event was excellent. The brisket was great. The Mexican corn was delicious. The Greek salad was more than just a salad. It was full of green olives, feta chunks and amazing dressing. Fingerling potatoes were terrific. I would recommend these items and the Mac and cheese. The pork ribs were also so good with the best BBQ sauce. In sort, where the food fell short, the staff made it up twice over with customer service.
