Judd's Catering really came through for my event! I found them online and, even with short notice, they were able to accommodate all my requests without a hitch. We had a party of 30, and their team handled everything from delivery and full setup to on-site service, maintenance, breakdown, and even packing up leftovers (which made for a perfect late-night snack!). The server on-site was respectful, helpful, and truly professional throughout the event. I was the hostess and completely forgot to take photos (too busy running around), but I can definitely vouch for the deliciousness of the food. We hired Judd's catering for my office and it has been nothing but AMAZING! They have so many menus to try, we are never eating the same thing twice. We have lunch catered and delivered from Judd's twice a week for 30-40 people. The drivers are friendly and on time. The food is delivered in a hot box so nothing is ever cold. They provide the sternos, serving utensils, catering trays and anything else we need. we will continue to use them twice a week for the foreseeable future! The food is healthy with many vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options. You wouldn't even know that some of the items are vegan! Everything is well presented and tastes amazing. I attend a weekly breakfast meeting with a group of people. At a recent meeting, our regular caterer had an emergency and brought in Judd's as a last minute replacement. And WOW, was I impressed with their food. The buffet had a selection of small pastries, a nice granola station with greek yogurt and fresh fruit, and the typical scrambled eggs and sausage. But the standouts were their frittatas and hash browns! They offered two types of frittatas, a vegetable version with Colby-Jack cheese and a bacon-sausage version with Cheddar. Both were outstanding. Each individual serving looked like it had been made in a muffin pan but were held together by a delicate thin pastry that turned out to be a wonton wrapper. How ingenious! And those hash browns were magical. Usually has browns are a clumpy, sometimes crispy, oily mess. Not these. They were beautifully cooked, deliciously seasoned, and not a drop of oil in sight. Judd's catering has been a staple at my workplace across the many places we choose for catering. In general I love this place, but my wife has commented on numerous times that their chicken is cooked too dry. Their beef items are consistently excellent, and if I could I would rate 4.5 stars for their food. Judd's is amazing!!! Seriously, everything is sooo flavorful and the chicken is so moist and tender! I don't know how they do it! Anyway, I order from Judd's 3-6 times a month for our work events because it's THAT good. They have so much variety in their menu too, and I appreciate their creativity in their monthly specials. For example, in January it was a "healthy start" menu -- and who know how tasty cauliflower rice and veggies could be? We provide lunch for our ongoing events and there are at least 5 compliments from attendees each day on the food! Many make the effort to return to our events because of Judd's :) Some even said it was the best mediterranean they've ever had, and one even said she dislikes salmon but the one from Judd's changed her mind! Funny story, my husband one time even got Judd's the same day as us and we both had the month special that day. So here we were texting about how scrumptious the food is. Even my dog once snuck into my leftovers when I wasn't looking and ate the Oktoberfest special of the schnitzel. It was probably the best meal of his life. Best of all, their service is fantastic! I absolutely love working with Eric, who's quick to respond, organized, and patient. He's also very thoughtful and gives great recommendations. Their pricing is very reasonable and the deliveries are always on time. Even the delivery guys are so sweet, friendly, and hardworking. A lot of caterers would wait outside and have a staff member pick up the food, but no, they will park and bring up the food! What makes Judd's great is that they deliver all over LA County and even to Antelope Valley! And despite traveling far, the food still tastes delicious and fresh. With a 4 day notice Judd's catering company was able to book and accommodate us with such ease. We hired Judd's Catering for our wedding on June 14, 2015. We worked closely with Eric to create a delicious menu: Passed Hors D'Oeuvres: Chicken & waffle bites Smoked gouda & pulled chicken grilled cheese with a creamy tomato soup shooter Lamb slider with goat cheese and quince preserves Assorted cheeses, olives, and crudités We served dinner buffet style: Braised short rib (the easy favorite of the night) Sage chicken & onion Wild rice Garlic mashed potatoes Arugula & endive salad They did such an amazing job on the food! Everything was exactly like we tasted at our sampling back in October, if not better. They were able to work with allergy restrictions and really worked hard to stay within our budget. They provided all the linens and glassware (before I found them, I thought I would have to do it myself), and they were able to find us two awesome bartenders in addition to their very professional, very efficient servers. Their whole team really went above and beyond in everything they did. The buffet table was all decked out and super fancy, too! Our office gets lunch catered in once a week and I've been working with Eric at Judd's catering for a few years now. We enjoy the variety of cuisines they offer and have never been disappointed. When I got married in October 2016 and I used them to cater our reception. We went with the Argentinean cuisine and people loved it. We also ordered appetizers which included assorted breads, cheeses and charcuterie, olives, hummus and salad. Our reception was in our garden so we had a rustic theme. Judd's set up worked so perfectly with all our other décor, it was flawless! We started with the appetizers and served dinner about an hour or so later. They brought in the food closer to the time we were serving to keep it warm even if they had chafing dishes for the entrees. Eric and 3 of his guys were there the whole time and kept the food table filled. They were so nice and professional. My guests kept complimenting the food, table set up and the staff, the night of and even days later. They're just amazing! I would definitely recommend them for any event. I've been ordering from Judd's for about 4 years now. Eric is great to work with - quick response, accurate estimates, flexible and friendly. They have a great variety of menus to choose from and the staff always compliment the food choices. It comes fresh, hot, and with nifty little cards explaining what's in the trays, for those that are picky or have dietary restrictions. We rarely have leftovers since people go back from seconds and thirds, but when we leave it in the lunch room I've had other departments ask me where the food was from so they can order from there for the next time so I usually ask them to bring extra business cards to give out. Their niche is the hot food. I've ordered continental breakfast and it's been okay, but their hot lunch is great! read more
